Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.
Even within the midst of flowing time, Look, indifference still goes round and round As for me, my heart has separated from me I can't see it Is it true I don't know? Even if I don't move, I continue to be lengthened in the cracks of time I don't understand the rotation I am me That's it
With a small parchment in his hand, Lili found himself lost and has no idea where to go. On the parchment, there was a list of addresses, mainly apartments or studios for renting. Got to admit he was not used to this stuff. He had led a great life, been served by his workers and hired maids to assist with all his needs. There was no bell to ring, but just a call by name and the door into his room will be opened and a lovely lady in maid uniform will appear before him. Lili had many house keepers; those he hired out of sympathy and he hired to accompany his mother while he was away on business trip. A sigh escaped from his mouth as he rubbed his forehead. Maybe he should stop remembering about his life as a young chairman, because, damn, now he felt regret for his recklessness in letting such good life go. Ocean blue eyes glanced away from the address and on the nearby street.
He stopped. The eyes widened unbelievable and his mouth set apart. He exclaimed loudly, "You.... You have got to be kidding me?!" What the hell is this? The street said 'Elatha's Dwelling' and unfortunately, he just passed by this street awhile ago. He slapped his wide forehead with his palm and scowled as his eyes glanced back onto the paper, "What the hell? Did I read the direction wrong or something?!" Now he understood the feeling of being a dispatcher, if he was going to be one. No, he still needed to find a job around the town but I guess dispatch would be a NO for him. He looked around, trying to find anyone who could tell him how to get to the address.
with his chin cradled in his palm, sapphire hued eyes observed the debating stock holders, whose monotonous voices lulled the young director into a dazed state. his loathing for board meetings exponentially increased with the ticking of the aged clock. due to the short notice, reijne had been swept into the room by irritated old men, who refused to deal with his lackadaisical manner. the fair haired fighter forced back a yawn, free hand raising to block his mouth from sight, for the antics of his share holders proved quite amusing. awkward jabs and raised volumes characterized the meeting as the intense debate continued. they wanted him to critique prospective toy designs and tried to coerce him into revealing his grand plan. however, he refused to answer, merely smiled patronizingly at them and brushed their concerns aside. without further prompting, they launched into their animated debate, arguing and snarling at one another.
his free hand slowly floated down and away from his face, landing lightly on the wooden conference table. slender fingers tapped against the polished surface, and reijne began counting the minutes in his mind, mentally groaning about the situation and begging to be released from their sticky grasps. a hushed silence settled over the room as the combating sides glared at each other, locked into a standstill due to their inability to compromise. expectation radiated off the old men, who waited anxiously for the blue eyed male to speak. they, however, could only shiver in fear as the temperature seemed to drop in the room, and apprehensive gazes shifted away from each other and toward their boss. pale lips quirked into a strained smile as he pushed his chair back, hands slamming against the table and figure looming over the table. audible gulps filled the room as silver strands of hair fluttered into his face. shadows covered his features, obscuring his expression and leaving the meeting attendees in suspense.
seconds passed before the man shifted, and the only visible movement was the quivering of his shoulders, which shook in response to his silent laughter. tension spread through the room, increasing in increments as reijne’s spiral into insanity continued; however, before anyone could vocalize their concern, a tentative knock shattered the silence. the sound heralded the end of the white haired male’s strange behavior as he pushed himself away from the desk and strode over to the door, features twisted into a charming smile and eyes gleaming dangerously—the lone remainder of his previous rage. with his back turned, the stock holders relaxed, releasing a unified breath and sinking further into their seats. they feared the young ceo’s temper and held no desire to see him erupt, making the interruption a god send. despite his seemingly oblivious attitude, the enchanted fighter heard their relief and barely managed to contain a smirk.
good morning, love, he greeted the blushing youth, forearm pressed against the door frame while his other hand rested on the metallic door knob. how can i be of assistance? the words rolled off his tongue with ease, and despite the seductive quality of his voice, the girl seemed unaffected, merely squaring her shoulders and lifting her gaze from the ground. amber collided with lapis lazuli as she opened her mouth to speak. i have some files that require your approval, and there’s a call waiting for you in your office. one pale eyebrow rose as he studied her, dismissing her with a wave of his hand and turning back to the gentlemen in the conference room. i’ve been called away for… urgent business. please see yourselves out. the door slammed shut behind him as he stepped into the hallway, cutting off the enraged shouts and providing him with the perfect opportunity to slip away from the building and from his duties as the figurehead of fantasie, incorporated.
the receptionist watched his retreating figure in obvious worry and dismay, hands moving toward the telephone in a subconscious action; however, as she brought the device to her ear, reijne turned to meet her gaze, a saucy wink and jaunty wave helped ease the woman into a distracted state. the dinging of the elevator brought her out of her stupor, but she doubted security would be able to catch the company’s elusive boss. with a regretful sigh, she set the receiver down and waited for the unavoidable explosion from the foul old men, who burst out of the room as a unit and spilled into the hallway after an extraordinary amount of bickering. anger and frustration radiated from the group as they stalked down the hall, bypassing the receptionist and jabbing at the call button on the elevator. by the time the elevator reached them, the snow haired ceo had exited the building, walking leisurely away from his responsibilities.
bright sunlight helped bring the world into vivid technicolor, and due to his escape, reijne found the cloudless sky to be endearing and liberating. he wanted to grab his motorcycle and simply ride through the streets of selene isle; however, the security hired by his brother would be on the lookout for his distinctive vehicle. with his hands shoved into his pockets, he meandered the streets, turning at random points and enjoying the aimlessness of his walk. he, however, never expected to crash into another person. no, his sense of balance and charismatic nature helped set him aside from the masses and kept them at an acceptable distance, so the unintentional collision rudely pulled him back to reality. the world spun as his body descended toward the ground, grass luckily easing the pain of impact and breath escaping him in a rush as the culprit landed on top of him. sharp features gained a pained undertone as his eyes slowly opened, widening slightly when pressure settled against his lips. how unexpected, he drawled in his mind.
Blur and annoyed, he was not ready to spend an hour standing in front of the junction without knowing exactly where to head to and where he was right now. Sun glared at him, forcing him to quicken his so called smart brain to start moving. Hell, as if he could. Being a well-kept boy since young, Lili was not the type who could exert himself in something as exaggerating as this. He preferred to stay in an air-conditioned room, with files and papers readily placed on on top of the desk, just waiting for him to check and sign. Talk about an easy and idle life he had.
The young man pouted slightly and huffed like a bull. His face expressed an overwhelming feeling of determination. No, he will not give up! Yes, he will find this place and rent it and get himself some rest and a job by tomorrow. His hair was blown dramatically to a side as he raised his face up to the sky like a warrior pledged his life not to retreat and to keep fighting in the battlefield.
Right.
He was about to prolong this nonsense by turning his body away and marched boldly when he felt some kind of force had him hit a quick brake. It was too late though, as Lili flapped his arms like a baby chicken and fell forward, onto the figure. "EEK!!" He squeaked as the gravity pulled them both down to the ground, with Lili topping the person. His mind slowed the speed of the surrounding, twirling in its own set of time as they fell. He caught a glimpse of the person, unintentionally blushed over the charming look he has. "Oh God," he literally murmured under his breathe and...
THUD!
Perhaps the Lord of Heaven was playing tricks on him, who knows, that the position these two were in seemed rather bizarre. Lili felt something moist on his lips and broke the contact slowly as his ocean blue eyes opened to see what it was. His long lashes batted and, immediately, his eyes were staring at the other man's eyes. The distance was... unbelievably close, that it made Lili jumped off and crawled to the nearest divider. He curled himself and was firmly hugging the divider's pole.
"OH-MY-GOD! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!" he shrieked with his eyes teary. He could feel the remaining warmth of the man's lips on his and he licked his dried lips accidentally. Realizing what he had done, Lili wiped his mouth with the back of his palms and with his sleeves. "OH MY GOD, YOU!" He shouted, fixing his position from bending his knees to his chest like a coward to getting on all four like a dog. He cried at him loudly, "YOU! PAY BACK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE! YOU KISS THIEF! PERVERT! JERK! SEXUAL HARASSER!"
despite his position as the youngest ceo of fantasie incorporated, reijne never bothered to maintain pretenses, preferring to simply act as he pleased. the old coots refused to acknowledge his unexpected success and viewed him as incompetent and lazy; however, they continued to hound him for support on projects or to work through the massive piles of paperwork. the fair haired male did not care for their pretentious attitudes and inability to see past their own desires. they were greedy bastards that dreamed of robbing families blind due to exorbitant prices on crudely crafted toys. dealing with them left him feeling drained, so his unexpected tumble provided the necessary energy to erase the fog that threatened to consume his conscious mind. his heart drummed against his ribs as adrenaline coursed through his frame, and with the excessive amount of energy that raced through his veins, the pain morphed into a barely perceivable notion, which seemed fallacious and intangible.
sapphire blue hued eyes connected with similarly colored eyes before the smaller male reacted, jumping off of the white haired fighter and throwing himself around a nearby pole. bemusement colored reijne’s sharp features as he pushed himself into a sitting position. a pale hand reached up to shove his bangs aside, fingers brushing across the spade shaped clip and then dropping to rest on his legs—which stretched out before him. the peaceful silence shattered due to the unexpected volume utilized by the fair haired stranger, and as the statements registered in his mind, pale brows furrowed while his lips curved into an amused grin. the subtle shift of expression cast his features in a younger light as the other reached the end of his tirade. despite the unusual circumstances, the rapture elite found himself captivated by lilianth, whose ranting elicited soft chuckles from him and helped ease the trauma of having wasted hours of his precious time in a meeting.
in a calculated movement, he returned to an upright position, towering over the crouching male and staring down at him with unblinking eyes. silence reigned between them as he tipped his head to the side, critically examining the effeminate creature before him, and when he finished his examination, reijne merely slipped his hand into his pocket, fingers wrapping around a lollipop and revealing the object to the world in one fluid motion. slender digits unwrapped the object and then plopped the sugary confection into his mouth. the taste exploded upon connecting with his taste buds and helped relieve the nervous tension that remained latched onto his lithe form. to be honest, he preferred the addictive quality of nicotine; however, he abandoned his cigarettes when he fled the office. a huff escaped him as he carefully walked toward his assailant, pulling out another lollipop and then crouching down to be on an equal level with the stranger.
oi, oi, now, he began while casually shifting the lollipop back and forth before the younger’s male face. you crashed into me, love. i didn’t steal anything, but if you insist on seeing the negative of our… unexpected… encounter, just chant over and over again that i got my first kiss from a gorgeous man. pale lips shifted into a dazzling grin as he leaned closer to lilianth, decreasing the distance between their faces to a few scant centimeters. and if you insist, i’d be happy to continue staring in your fantasies. with the message delivered in a purposely husky tone, reijne reestablished the previous distance and resumed waving the candy before the other’s eyes. want it? he queried while resting his forearms against his thighs and carefully twirling his own lollipop by utilizing his tongue and the roof of his mouth. perhaps he would find suitable entertainment with the unknown male, whose reaction proved to be highly exaggerated and exceedingly amusing.
637 Kouki Futaba HAHAHA... HE DIDN'T MESS WITH HIM TO THE EXTENT THAT I EXPECTED.
I has been his dream to lose his first kiss to someone who loved him and he loved- someone he could proudly call as his, his soulmate and his other half. He dreamt the first kiss would be beautiful and hard to forget, accompanied by the sound of bells or happiness that were ringing in the air. It would be a fine evening and him in his handsome suit and his bride in her dream Cinderella-like wedding dress. It was a perfect dream and a perfect beginning for a new life as a husband and future father of many adorable kids. Wait, scratch the many adorable kids part. He was not ready to have kids and thought of making one was strange, considering how he has zero knowledge about intimate things. Anyway!
Lilianth was unsure why the man did not say a word in return. He neither did fight back nor did deny his blind and emotional accusations. What was worse was he chuckled. Chuckles, as in those small irritating laughs. Lilianth pouted more and made his cheeks rounded like balloons. How inappropriate to laugh at someone who was trying to be hostile. He hated this guy badly now. You see, being a rational and gentleman-to-be young man, Lilianth learnt that he has to control and to classify his anger. There were few scales of hate in his head and out of ten, this guy was at eight. There were only two persons he hated the most in this world. One was his father and another one was this Chinese cook in his favorite Chinese restaurant who constantly called him 'leng lui' as in 'the beauty'. Lilianth withdrew back a bit when the man crouched down in front of him. You know how people say pretty men sometimes were part of Yakuza and nasty gangsters? Could he be one of them? The silvery blue haired tried not to sweat and smirk in front of him and continued to look fearless. Cutely fearless unfortunately.
For some reasons, he can't get himself to be all angry with him so close to him right now. His voice lingered in the air, distracting Leon to turn and look at him. It was when the man mention to "just chant over and over again that i got my first kiss from a gorgeous man" Lilianth could not help but stick his tongue out as if he was about to throw up. "God, talk about a purely wrong display of self-esteem there," he said blinking his eyes in disgust. Was he kidding about this? Which man in the world enjoyed being kissed by another man? Oh, wait. He did not mean the gays. I mean, he respected them but pffft, no. He was straight- yes, as straight as a needle, all right. The man brought his face close to Lilianth and it forced the newcomer to drew his head to the back and away from him. His round eyes blinked so many times as his cheek turned reddish each second. Wow wow wow, handsome. Back off.
"Oh god, so you ARE a pervert and a sexual harasser," Lilianth stated bluntly under his breathe and focused back on the situation.
Unfortunately he was extremely hungry and his eyes immediately attached to the lollipop when he brought it in front of him. He covered his mouth, trying not to drool in front of him and kept watching the sweet delicious candy rolling in the man's mouth.
Oh... My... God...
He cringed at the thought of how he eyed him and the lollipop and shouted, "Why are you doing this?! I'm hungry all right, stop teasing me with that!" He looked at him and started getting all teary. His round eyes were sparkling as if they were made of diamonds. Lilianth faked sniffles and muttered, "I'm going to report you to the cops for violating my right!!"
the first kiss—society provided multiple examples of the perfect combination of love and of romance. people idealized their first kiss, dreaming of a series of conditions that generally did not happen in real life, but in their fantasies, they neglected the truth behind their lives, fabricating an existence that could never be obtained. for reijne, sexual encounters meant nothing. he thrived on the pleasure received and cared little for emotional attachments. to be honest, he feared becoming emotionally invested in a relationship, for he understood the repercussions of revealing the entirety of his being to someone else. he dreaded locating his sacrifice and wanted to maintain his current lifestyle—one that mixed physical pleasure with a frigid, callous demeanor. no, the fair haired regalia desired to remain afloat in life, translating into his earnest need to refrain from forming attachments and to maintain his theatrics—which acted as his personal shield.
with his head tipped to the side, sapphire hued eyes blinked in and out of existence as the stranger continued with his exaggerated displays. his gaze shifted from the jewel toned eyes of his assailant to the other's tongue, which momentarily exited from its moist cavern. one pale brow arched as reijne forced his attention back to the effeminate male’s eyes. don’t tempt me, love, he purred while shifting the lollipop to tap against his cheek, highlighting his statement through subtle actions. i know a number of interesting games that we could play, and sticking your tongue out at me is an invitation. soft laughter burst forth from him as he carefully leaned back, establishing more distance between them and carefully balancing his weight on the balls of his feet. a throbbing ache assaulted his senses from his legs and lower back, for the pain of colliding with the ground began to surface—the adrenaline apparently wearing off due to his inactive state.
the faint red hue that decorated the other’s cheeks amused and delighted the white haired fighter, who enjoyed teasing people. pale lips twisted into a more prominent smirk as he lifted his free hand to brush his bangs aside, absentmindedly tucking them behind his ear. if lilianth continued with his adorable pouting, reijne doubted his ability to control himself, for he suffered a lack of suitable companions. he refused to continue seeing people after their one night of passion, citing that they tempted fate, and in the end, his ideals meant a smaller pool of fish to choose from. a hum escaped him upon noticing that his companion’s gaze remained locked on the offered lollipop, which hovered in the space between them as he moved the object away from his face upon finishing his previous statement. sparks of mischief appeared in his jewel toned gaze as he moved the candy closer to his body, tongue carefully rubbing against the lollipop that he plopped into his mouth.
call the cops? he queried around the sugary confection. pale brows furrowed as he glanced at the lollipop that rested between his fingers, dangling invitingly and reminding reijne of his loss. his body craved the addictive nicotine, which assisted in calming his rampaging emotions and in tethering his mind to reality. with a barely perceivable upward movement of his shoulders, he tossed the candy toward the stranger, not caring if the other managed to catch the item or not. i’m not a cruel person, love. i offered the lollipop to you, so i obviously intended to hand it over. in a blink of lilianth’s eyes, he shifted, leaning closer and shifting to his knees. his free hand reached out to brush the pale blue strands away from the effeminate’s male face while his face invaded the younger’s personal space. of course, i don’t mind receiving a reward for my kindness, he purred with his lips almost brushing against his sacrifice’s.
Lord, Heaven that watches over me, mommy, grandpa and grandma, please...
GET THIS MAN OFF MY SIGHT!
He wanted to cry the words of prayer so badly he could only whined with his both ears folded behind and his eyes went round and teary. Life was about to become crueler and crueler, and he doubted he could handle this any more than this. How the hell he ended up meeting a pervert like him? He is gorgeous- talk about sharp chin with flawless skin and, oh my God, is his hair silky? Wait, what the hell was wrong with him?! He pitched his cheeks with both hands and slapped his face gently. Why did he find him so charming? Well, appearance wise he WAS a hot guy, but he was pretty sure he never ever got this heat up for a guy. There was this television series that he used to watch with his mother and he kept watching it until its last episode.
Six packs. Muscular. Husky voice. Talked about a total hottie.
Still, he never felt that much of attraction compared to this. Lilianth stared at Reijne once again. His eyes stared intensely on the other pair. They were crystal blue- enchantingly crystal blue in color. O-oh, something was wrong. He withdrew back and covered his face with his palm. He really needed to get out of his sight, if he refused to do it any time soon. The man's response pretty much made him felt goosebumps from the back of his neck down to his arms. "Oh God, tell me this guy is joking," he whispered in his mind. He knew the population of gays were increasing and he has nothing against them, totally. Although, they annoyed him most of the time with the flirts and lame pick-up lines. Some of them almost had their manhood parts been put into comma since he was not as girly as they thought.
A man is still a man; Lilianth can throw a punch and a kick and he will make sure they hurt them badly.
His eyes glanced at his bottom between his thighs. The ocean blue eyes rolled away. "I can so totally do that, no guilt for sure," he somewhat agree with what went in his mind. If he tried anything funny, he can just blow that part with his knee. Lilianth's whitish-blue ears perked straight up when the word 'game' was mentioned. "Games?! I like games! What games do you-" he got excited a little too early and then he noticed these games could be something else. A smirk promptly appeared on his soft lips. "... You are not talking about SNAP and chess, aren't you?" Faint laughs escaped as he turned his head aside a bit. "I doubt you even know how to play normal games," he continued.
There were few residents of the area passed by. However, they were not too close for him to call for help or even aware that the men were there. Talk about pure oblivious society here. Ah, well. He should not complaint so much about it for this will be his new place to stay as well. The parchment with few addresses written on it remained in his grip firmly. His mind was too busy handling this situation that he has sort of forgotten about the home searching matter. He was ready to sneakily get up and escape from the man when he suddenly started speaking. The growing young man noticed something to thrown right at him and so he caught it. His eyes focused on the object and when he realized it was his lollipop, Lilianth groaned. "OH GOD, THIS IS GROSS!" he dropped it instantly to the ground. "Okay, that's it, mister! I am sssooo not going to let you mess with me!" he scowled irritatingly and was ready to get up when the stranger suddenly brought his face close up. Lilianth shrunk his head behind, only to have Reijne cornered it from moving with their lips almost came in touch.
FLAP!
A parchment was brought up and between them just in time. Lilianth smirked behind the paper and felt the rough instead of the same moist and warm surface he had tasted. "Aha, no. Not for second time, mister." He said, laughing sarcastically about him. If he thought he was one easy prey, think again. Although, he had to admit this was kind of... funny. Not the exact word but romantically runny. Admirable, but only if he was a girl. He grunted a bit and said, "I respect your taste for men, but I so don't roll that way. Y'know, I'm straight- like, I wanna marry a girl and all."
OOC!
He has nnnno idea Rei's his fighter. and he's blunt. XP @zeit09
