FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSPLOT, LOVELESS REALM AND WAR OF CHANGE
WHO ARE THE MUNDANE?
People without the ability to participate in spell battles or, in another word, regular people.
HOW LONG DID THE BATTLES BETWEEN THE TRUE PAIRS AND MUNDANES LAST?
Three years.
WHEN DID THE TRUE PAIRS GAIN ACCESS TO SELENE ISLE?
Approximately twenty years ago, so anyone from 19 and younger could have been born on the island.
WHERE IS SELENE ISLE?
It is an island selected by both the mundane governments and surviving Seven Moons as the true pairs' "haven" twenty years ago. Located in the Atlantic, closer to France and the United Kingdom than the United States, most of the ground has been exploited for development of residential areas and other facilities for the residents. The island is limited only to true pairs; however, mundane government officials will occasionally visit to check on the true pairs and reaffirm the conditions of their peace treaty, and mundanes are allowed to visit the various attractions located on the isle. It is, however, stated in the law that no mundane may inhabit the island.
UM... WHAT'S UP WITH THE EARS AND TAIL?
In the Loveless realm, they represent one's virginity. For the natives, people are born with them. They're attached to one's body and come equipped with basic muscle attachments. It's possible to express emotion with them, pretty much like cats or dogs (i.e. the ears flatten in anger, the tail tucks between the legs in fear, etc.). Just as you pick up body language the more you interact with someone, you will pick up the body language of the ears and tail the more you speak with those who have them.
The ears and tail have very few nerve endings, so while they do have muscle and some sense of touch, it's a minimal amount, which makes sense as they will eventually fall off. It's not a cultural event, if that's what you're thinking, where a loss of virginity means the ears and tail are cut off. Actually, the nerve endings slowly die while the connective tissue weakens, and within a day, they get loose and fall off or wiggle off.
Think of it like losing your baby teeth - it's quite similar to that.
ARE THERE ANY GUIDELINES REGARDING TRUE NAMES?
There really isn't a guideline that you have to follow. Most names will end in "less" like "loveless," but that isn't necessarily true for all names, for example beloved. It's really up to you in the end. It really can't be anything outrageous or random, though. It usually has a lot to do with both the people in the unit and something about them or their personalities.
HOW DOES A FIGHTER/SACRIFICE DISCOVER THAT'S WHAT THEY ARE?
Well, in most cases, the symbol or their true name will appear somewhere on their body. If they are a blank, it's hard to tell really. Zeros are made into fighters and sacrifices, so they know because of that.
HOW DO PARTNERS FIND EACH OTHER? HOW DO THEY KNOW ANOTHER PERSON IS THEIR UNIT? DO THEY HAVE TO SEE A NAME WRITTEN ON THEIR BODY, OR DO THEY JUST HAVE A FEELING?
It's a gut feeling. Like instinct, almost. They should just know. It may take certain lengths of time for one part to find another, but when they do come across each other, they should feel it. Though seeing the name on their other half may lead to them reacting to their feelings and establishing a connection.
IF A PARTNER DIES, DOES THE NAME GO AWAY?
No, their name doesn't go away. They are pretty much stuck with it for the rest of their lives. A sacrifice or fighter that has lost their partner are unable to form any other unit-bonds, their old name serving as a reminder. They are left with the name or symbol.
CAN I MAKE A ZERO?
Yes, you may; however, for the moment, we will only allow two zero pairs. Therefore, you might be automatically paired with another zero, regardless of your own plot desires.
CAN I MAKE A NEW REBELLION GROUP?
No, we'd like to focus exclusively on Wraith and Rapture. You can, however, take on an elite position within any of the canon organizations.
