Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.
The loud clanging of metal could be heard echoing through the abyssal darkness. Axel felt himself drifting towards the light due to the sound when all of a sudden he opened his eyes. He had infact been sleeping and all that could be heard was the insatiable sound of his monkey chime alarm claning its bells together signalling that once again, it was school time. Axel sighed, stretched out to the alarm and flicked the switch to turn it off. Reaching for the sky with his arms a loud click could be heard as he began maknig each of his bones in his arm click. He grinned and sat up properly. Today was the day, he had gotten up early and he would go for a nice leisurely run around the academy before going to class. After ten minutes of wasting time putting on his running garb he scurried out of the door and into the blistering heat of the summer day. Every step he took he could feel the energy being sapped out of him as his NEEKE sneakers connected with the ground. The fact that he was wearing a black sports jersey and trousers wouldn't have helped at all either. Axel was secretly regretting not bringing some food with him for after his run but what could he do, he was forgetful at times. Axel shot round a corner and almost ran into someone coming the other way "SORRY MISS! IM IN A HURRY! He didn't even look back twice before dashing off. The girl should accept she got a thank you and be disappointed he didn't give her his digits because what woman 'wouldn't want this body to be their property'. He smirked as he ran the final stretch before arriving at the academy. As the sound of his footsteps changed upon running on asphalt he began to slow down to a simple jogging pace. Axel was now ready to take the day on it's head. If only he hadn't ran so fast to the academy that it was still before classes started. He raised his wrist to look at his watch when the rays of the sun glinted off the watch and into his eyes jarring his vision for a moment. Stumbling around blindly Axel ended up running into a wall, overbalancing and falling into a bin headfirst. He tried getting out of the bin but no matter how much he struggled, he was stuck in the metal cylinder. "DAMNITTTTTT! IM STUCK FOR FUCKS SAKE. SOMEBODY GET ME OUT OF THIS!!!!" he flailed his legs violently in the air trying to dislodge himself but instead began falling further into the empty bin. "Thank god this bin is empty..... Otherwise I would die from the dirtyness......" he couldn't help but imagine the gruesome things that people had put into this bin. If only someone he didn't know would come along and help him. Someone he could bribe into not telling anyone about him falling into a bin. "SOMEONE HELP ME DAMNIT!!!!!"
That...was comical but now he woke up the dragon xD
Five am on the dot just about time for her internal alarm to drag her from her slumber. It did just that, purple tinted eyes fluttered open, bleared orbs tried clearing through the hazed image of her crème colored ceiling. Right on time... as the child uttered a tired groan, slowly turning her body in the warm covers that covered her barely clothe body.
Right on time indeed, right down to the double zero that stated the time her internal alarm never failed to get her up at this time of day/twilight. She figured it stemmed from her younger years when she had to do everything on her own. The past linked to that small tiny apartment that barely fit a small three member family. Her past would never let her forget as she herself held a firm lease around it.
She’ll never forget, another groan slipped out from the child’s rose colored lips her slender form slipped from the covers and onto the cold peach flooring of her room. The sun barely peaked out from the dawn skies as its rays still hadn’t slipped through the blinds that covered her windows. Waking up at this ungodly hour had been more or less routine for her. (Which is probably why she sleeps it off somewhere.) Blinking blearily the child robotically went through her daily routine. Fixing herself, dressing and making herself look presentable for another day of school. School...
She swallowed down the urge to blast her head with a nearby pistol at the mere thought of it. Her foster father insisted she attended for the sake of her future... but the child, as bored of the world as she is saw no real reason to cram her head with knowledge that would soon prove useless for her in the long run.
She hadn’t spoken it out... her father can be...a persuasive man, she sighed... the breathe flooding silkily through her mouth. He’s probably still asleep...she noted peeking her head through her door into the dimly lit hallway of their home. Faint snores echoed from the room adjacent to hers. Still asleep... the girl concluded as she snuck out of the home right after grabbing an apple from the fruit ball. xxx----
A crack of the eye showed the child had been disturbed... the figure laying on the grass twitched as screams tapped against her eardrums. Was it so wrong to want to sleep?...
As she moved a darker feeling of dread circled around the girl as if a demon peeked through her shoulders smiling menacingly around those near her. Slowly her body moved, and the feeling of death and suffering long flooded through the atmosphere. Most of the students stood clear of the upset female whom they already knew someone...probably had a dead wish for disturbing the girl’s sleep. Purple orbs scanned around her for the sound until it fell upon a lone trashcan with...legs kicking wildly. She blinked, crossing the space between her and it she tapped her foot on the metallic surface before... casually kicking it to fall on the side. There, certainly that should be enough of a way to crawl out of there.
Whilst he had been stuck in the bin he had thought about his past, about the gaping darkness that envelops his life before the accident. Every time he tries to remember it the darkness of the unknown memories swallows him up and spits him out as if he had never tried to think about the past. It baffled him how after all this time those years still evaded his mind....maybe in due time, things can change.
He had been flailing around for a good ten minutes when all of a sudden his world started to spin, he was moving, it felt as if he was weightless for a moment before THUD he smashed into the ground. His mind spun for a moment before realising what had happened, someone....hopefully a beautiful vixen had freed him from his perpetual prison. He also realised that this couldn't be true as he had been 'kicked' over. He carefully slid out from the bin before rolling over and squinted as the sun bruned into his retina's. Ahhh even Axel being a 'big' man couldn't avoid admitting his weakness coming from his eyes at that moment.
After letting his eyes adjust he jumped to his feet and looked over at the one who had freed him from his metallic prison. He looked over and couldn't believe what he saw, it was a girl with a childish face and dark locks of hair. He blinked a few times at her before remembering that she had kicked him over. He marched towards her "How dare you kick me over? What would you do if you hurt this work of chiseled art? I could have broken a leeeeeeg or.... some..thing" Axel's words started slurring as blood rushed to his head from his sudden leap from the upside down bin, to the floor and upright.
As Axel began blacking out he wobbled a few times before falling onto the poor girl who had tried to save him. He was completely out of it and wouldn't be fine for a good thirty seconds until the blood circulated normally in his body. All he could remember seeing was the girl's face as he slammed straight into it.
I wonder what happened? Last thing I know I was telling some witch off for almost hurting my precious body which women die for..... I'll have to let her know my mind when I wake up I guess.... Maybe its all a dream and school isn't starting till later.... must be....
Memories of the past threatened to collide with the present those she held back separated for the sake of peace of mind threatened to break through the barrier she placed between it and the mortal realm she dwelled in. She never told father what happened that night she came home, pale as if she seen a specter floating through the delicate sanctity of reality. It endangered the girl’s jaded view of everyday life. Twisting it into a see-through mirror that voiced the past of a simple, scruffy little ravenette in a sea of strangers,
Often a thought came of how it would have gone had her past not happened. Had they stayed in Russia, in another alternate life it could happen, black and white contrasted the child’s lingering gaze. Mellowing out the facts fate gave in terms of how role is to be played. The lone soldier, that’s how she saw herself as her gaze lingered on the metallic bin that held the...
It happened far too fast for the female, too fast to ready a defensive measure to what the sight tossed at her. Blond hair as she remembered from the past the only difference was the face it held in the past differ from the one in front of her. Her heart stopped cold in her chest, frozen until the brain kicked it into gear before it sent the child into a cardiac arrest. Momentary anger disintegrated with the gentle touch of the breeze fluttering overhead. Time stopped in her vision, past and present collided into one unholy mix of chaos Katarisha didn’t want to deal with. She squeezed her eyes shut to gather some form of composure within herself. успокойся, Иша, вы можете сделать это ... She chanted mentally as a mantra to ease her nerves. It barely dented the massive block forming in her chest. Barely scratched the surface of the discomfort forming within her.
Katarisha was at a lost, her mind began reeling in the situation, she practiced this should it arise, combed through every possible scene with a fine tooth comb but nothing, nothing prepared her for the real ordeal. And then he spoke, immediately it rubbed her pride the wrong way. The child prided her will and the pride she carried anything trying to scratch it usually ends badly for anyone that tries. But she had an act to play, she was still the daughter of a high ranking official in seven moons. She...
Must show restraint, no matter how bleak that would be in this situation. A light vein pounded on her eyebrow, marking the sign of her annoyance as she tried to hide and reign in the temper simmering through the surface. “Hmm? Did you say something good sir~” The girl internally smirk brandishing her words with a final blow of an expression of total obliviousness as if she totally ignored his earlier rantings. The joys of knowing how to irk people, it was both a gift and a blessing in her eyes... now if only the boy didn’t decide to actually pay her retort with landing on her. Which he did, the girl yelped, his weight dragging her down on the flat surface as she winced when her back hit the down. Hesitantly the girl opened her eyes. She wished she didn’t upon seeing the boy on top of her. Her cheeks flushed as quickly as the sight registered in her mind, her automatic reflex of pushing him off game into play as she shoved the boy’s body away from her. Several deep thuds echoed from her heart that threatened to jump out of her chest, the scene brought a mixture of feelings on her, one trailed to dark night she lost those cute black ears on her head the other she didn’t even want to dwell in before she hesitantly bit back the words she wanted to spew at him as she inched her way closer to his collapsed form. “Hey, get up do I need to call an ambulance or something?” The girl shook his shoulder as she spoke.
