Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.

"W...why I ha... I have... to bump in... to... th.... these guys again!?" Leon shouted, gasping between words as his legs kept up with the pace in his mind. It was a great evening for a little bit of walk, but how unfortunate of him for he was forced to run for his life instead. No, he was not even sure running fit the situation but that person was part of Mr. Boogeyman's parade. He must be a dangerous guy!
Being rescued and raised by Haine the vulpine of Rapture really taught him a thing or two about this island and about survival. If he was to be compared with the old him back before meeting Haine and her mother, this run would have definitely caused his limbs and joints cramped or figuratively felt like they were about to torn apart! His heart pumped at an abnormal rate, his eyes scrolled side to side and his mind traced the path he had taken and will take to lose himself out of the man's sight. He dodged and slipped between the pedestrians, trying his best not to give even a millisecond of chance for the blonde to keep up with him.
"Leon! Hurry up!" Dante shouted, hassling the boy to run faster. That was all he could since Leon was so stubborn to exchange place with him. Dante was his another personality; the older version of him, his 'older brother' and also his conscience. He appeared only in Leon's mind as solid as a real human. He glided between men and women on the street, cussing them if they were on his way. Leon turned behind for the man who was older than him. Was he still chasing him? God, why today!? He was having such a great time walking alone on the street when he bumped into a gorgeously handsome looking young man. He was blonde, and tall, and pretty much the type of guy Leon wanted to be when he grows up. Things however did not work out when the man saw the series of numbers on his collarbone. It turned out to be the starting point of this endless running for life event. Leon did not give the man a chance to speak or to stop him. He had already on a run without turning behind to hear his words. It was an auto flight mode whenever someone saw the serial number.
i'm coming for your rhythm, i'm here to wake you up i wanna be your hero, i wanna
This wasn't the kind of life that he had been expecting if anyone were to ask him. Not that very many people stopped and took the time to do so. Most people either noticed the serial number written into his skin or they did not. They would always give him a strange, almost confused look. Almost as though they were asking how it was that someone like him could have gotten involved with such a thing. And truth be told, he could have easily told all of them that this wasn't what he wanted. He wanted to live a nice, quiet life. He wanted to finish his graduate degree, enter the police force, protect the peace. All of that shattered in a matter of seconds when his true name made itself present on his other. When he recited that decree, that he would die because he had to if he betrayed their unwritten rule. This wasn't what he wanted. This wasn't what he had wanted for himself at all but it was what he had and, Camille rationalized, there was nothing that could be done. Who was he to betray the arbitrary forces guiding their world after all?
Still. Even if he had accepted that much being true, it didn't change that he got any more used to people giving him a condescending look. Or as he supposed in this case that someone would run away at the sight of him. He hadn't thought that he had said anything wrong. Didn't do anything wrong. Didn't say anything rude nor did he make a point to act so. So, he couldn't quite understand why the redhead had taken off so suddenly. Even lesser so, why was he chasing after him? Oh, right. He had dropped his wallet. That was why he had taken off after him, although; his resolve was slowly beginning to wane the faster he tried to push himself. Heavy footfalls came one after another, labored breaths escaping the blonde as he took off after him. He wasn't nearly as in shape as he had believed himself to be. Maybe he should have signed up for a gym or something. Or maybe just walking everywhere from now on might have been a good way to build up some endurance. Because this was starting to kill him slowly.
"H- Hey!"
Even his tongue felt heavy in his mouth, the word having barely gotten rasped out as digits secured the wallet in his grasp. The blonde trying hard to catch up, his legs pumping as quickly as he could with little to no avail. His lungs were crying, his rapidly palpitating heart damn near seizing in his chest. Twenty-three and he was going to end up having a heart attack before any one else he had ever met. This was it. This was where he was going to die. Not by the hands of Synister, not during a battle, no. No, Camille de Sol was going to be defeated right here and right now in a mad pursuit of the red haired teen just to return a dropped wallet. "W- Wait! Please, wait!" Jesus, take the wheel from his hands. It was only then, as unfortunate as he was, that his foot managed to catch on a bump in the sidewalk. The blonde had nearly crashed face first into the pavement, Camille just barely able to catch himself from falling. Only to fall into an almost running stumble, his body quickly coming into contact with that of the other. Both coming crashing down to the ground in a tumultuous heap.
Ignore him, ignore him, ignore him! He chanted the same phrase again and against as he ran. His eyes were fixed on whatever and whoever in front of him that he needed to pass through. Sometimes, he glanced behind for the blonde, finding how amazing he could still catch up with him and he looked from this distance. Ah, this is wrong! He shook his head and faintly cried. Why was he praising the man who was part of the syndicate who messed up his life?! He stopped for awhile and continued running, trying his best to lose him. Seriously why, in the name of Heaven and all goodness in this world, was he chasing him?!
Running along the roadside was not a good idea. He had thought of stopping and tried to talk things through with him, but he realized he was not really brave with this whole 'talk' and 'negotiation' things. He was more of a man in action, even if it means running rather than fighting. His lung felt like it was about to burst from the inconsistent speed of breathing. Okay, so maybe he needed more than just running errands for the female Rapture. His mind began to wander off when suddenly his ears twitched over a change of wind in the air. He was about to turn and see what was going on when the chaser began to lost his balance and stumble forward. The olivine eyes rounded wide in surprise. He turned behind and shouted, "Hey, hold on!" Two hands extended front, trying to block the blonde from knocking him down as well but he was a bit late and his turn had made him lost his balance as well. "Argh!" Leon groaned as he was being pushed down to the ground.
THUD!
The two landed on the ground but it seemed that the older guy was safe since he landed on him instead. Leon, on the other hand, had it pretty rough since he had faced behind and so his back was facing the ground. He let out few 'tsk' as he shook his head lightly. The collision shook his conscious that without he realized, his another self was slowly slipping in. He made an irritating face and growled, "What the hell, man? This is so not cool." His eyes had glared aside to see if anyone was watching and then turned back for him. He blinked few times.
Oh God.
Damn, he looked so cool this close! Leon's eyes literally groped every inch on his face as he was appreciating the natural beautiful look the man has. His blonde hair was not as blonde as he thought. It was more like golden-blonde, and his eyes, gosh.
"So what now? You've caught me finally." He said, trying to get him off of him. His heart beat a different amount of anxiety now. Will he send him to that guy? Or will he kill him? Either way, it did not sound well for him.
i'm coming for your rhythm, i'm here to wake you up i wanna be your hero, i wanna
If he could have slowed down, he damn well would have. But even with that said, it was obvious that he couldn't now. Hands no doubt scraped, his knees having had banged painfully against the ground. Hands being the only force that had managed to stop him from slamming his forehead into that of the other's. Jeez, that hurt ... it could have been worse though, so he supposed it wasn't worth complaining about in the end. It took a little while longer before his eyes finally opened and topaz would meet with emerald in that single instant. Ah, right. He had fallen on top of the poor guy. "Are you alright?" were the first words to come out of his mouth, the blonde quietly gesturing towards the back of the other's head. They had fallen pretty rough, no doubt the stranger's head having had banged against the concrete pretty hard. Hopefully he didn't fracture it or anything, shit. That would have been really bad if he ended up doing something like that instead of giving the guy his wallet back, he gave the poor guy a concussion instead.
"Oh, right. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to fall on you." came his reply, the blonde reeling back and moving to lean back on his knees before at once offering his hands to the other to pull him up onto his feet once he would take his hands. "Huh?" He replied, shooting an incredulous look at the other. What on earth was he talking about? He made it sound like such a bad thing that he had managed to catch up to the other. Although, he supposed that was only natural considering the fact that he had ran away from him in the first place. Usually, the goal of running away from a person meant to stay away from them. But he hadn't said more than five words to the guy and he had taken off faster than a bullet train during rush hour. "Well, right now. I'm going to help you up." A small laugh. "I just wanted to give you back something you dropped, that's all."
"You took off so fast, I didn't even get the chance to pick it up before I couldn't even see you anymore." A shake of the head, the blonde letting go of the other's hands once he took them and Camille heaved him up to his feet. A shake of the head. Why was he so scared of him anyway - ... oh. Right. He hesitated, gently running his digits over the patterned letters emblazoned on his collarbone. Right, he had probably seen those. One of the few that could recognize it and knew him to be a part of a syndicate he had no business nor want to be in. Thin lips pressing into a line, the university student pausing before smiling softly. "You just dropped your wallet. I thought it might be important to get back. But I mean I'll keep it if you don't want it."
"But thanks... for the wallet. My mistake for causing this confusion."

The fall somewhat shook the balance between the two personalities, causing both Leon and Dante to be conscious at the same time. Dante did not hold back his voice from sounding so stern and annoyed yet the face appeared restless and scared. As seconds passed, Leon began to take control of the body once again. His thin brows knitted in wonder about the man. After his encounter with him, Leon felt he was being watched all the time. His, along with Dante's, refusal to return to the group set a cat and mouse game with the syndicate group, particularly the man he called boogeyman. The memory of the night was vague as it was Dante who appeared and faced the malicious-looking man, who has a tireless wicked grin on his face. Not to mention, he was scolded badly by the female Rapture who had already warned him about not to stray too far into the alleys.
It can't be help. He was curious when he was something was moving on the ground; a dying man.
"Well, right now. I'm going to help you up." "I just wanted to give you back something you dropped, that's all."
The man's voice instantly distracted Leon from his thought. The copper red haired boy looked up on his extended hand and at his face. A huff escaped as he accepted the young man's offer to help him up while replying, "Really?" He was not sure what he could have dropped. Or probably it was a lie to trick him into believing him. Dante appeared like an image from a projector beside Leon, only to be seen by the boy who shared the same body as him. Hands crossed over his chest, the seemed to be older and colder Leon set a cold glare on the blonde. Something felt wrong, but not entirely wrong either. For him to be able to keep up with him was an amazing job. Not that Leon ran that fast, but they had run pretty far.
Leon knew what Dante was thinking. He too felt astonished by this fact. Being taken care like a newborn cub in the rebel group, he has undergone few errands and exercises (no, more like punishments). He could not match himself with an athlete, oh no. But in term of survival, he nailed it pretty well. He was not sure why he had to go through the hell, and so the female told him since his fate has already intertwined with the hell king himself.
Sin.
"You just dropped your wallet. I thought it might be important to get back. But I mean I'll keep it if you don't want it."
That older blonde man spoke with a smile. He seemed to have a hesitating pause a moment there but he was not sure why. He flinched when his finger ran along the digits on his collarbone. His green eyes observed the fingers where they touched and his face when he pulled them away. For some reasons he looked... sorry for him, for Leon that is. Why?
"You just dropped your wallet. I thought it might be important to get back. But I mean I'll keep it if you don't want it."
The boy sprung as his both ears and tail stood straight like an angry cat. His voice was raised as he shouted, "OF COURSE I WANT IT BACK!" It was a spontaneous reaction, he was not really listening to his words before he mentioned about keeping something because he didn't want it. The boy blinked and tilted his head like a clueless child. "Excuse me, but what did you say?"
His wallet has been one of the important items he carried all the time. In the Quicksilver wallet of his, there were few contact cards and one of them was a membership card to enter Nightshade. Haine will eat him, figuratively of course, if he was to lose it. He fidgeted shyly as he finally realized how this was a great misunderstanding and he had made the man chased him across few blocks and streets. With a sheepish grin and silly laughs, Leon rubbed the back of his red and started gibbering, "Ah, but thank you! I thought you were going to hit me because I stared at you creepily but then again you look too cool and will you believe me if I say I ran away from you because you are too cool and I just feel so depressed that I have no guts to say your name but I can understand it IS weird considering a boy wanted to ask you for your name out of nowhere ahahaha!"
He continued laughing for few seconds and went silent. He dropped his head low along with his ears in depressed. Oh dear God, this can't be happening right?
"But thanks... for the wallet. My mistake for causing this confusion." He softly whined with his brows knitted and his lips made a frown.
