Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.

The loud music was heady, pounding a steady beat into her skull. It was night right to say that Regel loved the stage, but the attention always made her float. She could feel the stares on her exposed form multiply as she continued to flaunt, making eye contact and throwing her brightest smiles at the crowd. Admiring glances came from everywhere. Regel paid special attention to the men right by the stage, giving them her sultriest look and turning slowly in a circle so they could apprise her from every angle. The bills they offered her were only an appetizer to the rest of the night.
As soon as her set was finished, Regel made a quick stop to the back to tuck away the cash she had already made before strutting out to the floor. Her stilettos made a loud clack clack to announce her presence. The girl scanned the crowd for interested faces, wondering who would help her make bank tonight. Blasphemy attracted a plethora of customers and it wasn't hard to pick out someone who looked well off.
It was a busy Friday night and the club was roaring, celebrating the end of the week in decadence. Regel weaved through employees and club goers, working her mind into her work mentality, getting comfortable in her skin and giving passing gropers a heated look. From a table to the side, a group of boys who looked like university students where giving loud cat calls. Regel blew them a kiss but moved on. She was not looking for rowdy boys tonight. She was looking for diamonds.
She picked a couple businessmen that she noticed when she was dancing. Strutting confidently over to their table, the girl put on her best smile and prepared to launch into the usual tirade. “Hey handsome, would you like company? What’s your name? Where are you from? What do you do for fun? Would you like a dance?" When she first started in this line of work, Regel thought of it as a sort of dance. A sort done with talking to try and squeeze money out of patrons. But now it was possibly the most tedious part of her work. Still, she smiled and acted through it. Turns out, they were indeed well off businessmen, and she figured the hefty tip they left her at the end their interaction was worth it. Rejoining the sea of bodies, Regel went in search of her next target.

Monday always took the blame for everything, really what had it ever done to anyone else? Sure it was the bane of their existence however it wasn’t the case for Aurora. Mondays were a day of peace for Aurora, the day in which she got to change back from the ravaging Beauty of a beast who roamed the floors of Blasphemy to the college student who took notes and answered questions for things she actually knew about. Honestly she loved the week days they meant that nothing like the bar fights and drunken slobs would be all over her while she tried to work her magic and make her establishment money. However today a Friday was oh just the thought of the day made her skin crawl, the weekend was a stain on her long glorious week. However Lucien would be in after a few hours and she only had to handle the night by herself until the others came in to manger their areas. For now however her shift had started and oh how she detested coming back into this place, a few drinks would cure this reluctant feeling that had started to well up inside her.
She had left the house looking cute and that was going to be a problem, mainly because looking cute in a place like this was a bad thing. Well that was unless you were a normal girl who the regulars didn’t know and the new ones weren’t warned about. Aurora had a name within the club which the regulars liked to call her, she was known as the kyūketsuki sure it wasn’t the best of names but damn did it have a ring to which Aurora loved about it. The word was a Japanese one which meant Vampire and as much as she hated to admit it she loved the idea of being called a vampire. It never failed that no sooner did her heals hit the floor that the whispers of her appearance reach the dance floor and around. It was good to be feared the moment her foot dropped and yet at the same time she just wanted to be the pretty girl who just stepped out on the scene. But that was something to deal with later as the day shift were clocking out and the evening shift were coming in for the night. Making her rounds for the shift she found for the most part things were running rather smoothly, the bar was perfectly stocked while the tenders were making charms and tips. Her eyes caught the glitter of one of her employee’s making her rounds after finishing up a dance, the girl was a sly one and it made Aurora proud to call her one of her own.

fridays were the busiest weekday and while that meant bank for regel's pockets, it also meant she had to be more alert than usual. the night was going well so far. no hitches other than the occasional unwanted touch coming in the form of a brush as she navigated the floor. regel let those pass, searching the crowd to settle a hard stare on the one who did it ('it was an accidental brush as you waked pass, got it?' her eyes said). men who wanted to be more feely were promptly met with a bouncer.
it wasn't until regel sat herself with one of the club's regulars that problems arose. she knew this man. he was a middle aged businessman who liked to come in at least once a week, if not every night. gold lined his pockets and he gave it out freely.
she had become accustomed to keeping him company when he stopped by, offering conversation and dances in exchange for his money. today was no different. sitting in as comfortably as she dared in the crook of his arm, regel took small, careful sips out of the flute of champagne he bought her. they made easy conversation, exchanging quips back and forth like gunfire.
what was different about today was that when regel sat down, the man was already tipsy. normally, he was sober through their time together, calling a taxi as soon as he became tipsy. it should have raised alarm bells but she was stupidly thinking of the money she would make off him.
today, he drank a lot. regel counted four wine glasses in front of him and he was trying to flag down a waitress for his fifth.
his infractions started off small. his hand stroking her the bare skin at her lower back, slowly wandering up to her shoulder. like an idiot, regel let it slide. this man was a regular patron. his wealth and free spending benefited the club. she didn't want to offend him. however, regel could not help but start searching for help. golden eyes raked the crowd urgently but for once, there was not a bouncer in sight. instead she locked eyes with her boss. better than nothing.
there were nine little letters on her neck that regel never wanted anyone to see. while her profession required her to be mostly bare, she wore thick leather collar around her neck to cover it up. the sight of it also gave men something to fantasize about, she figured. she almost regretted that collar right now. just as she was about to get up, the man's fingers hooked under her collar, giving her a vicious yank forward. her hands immediately flew to her neck, trying to undo his hold but the man was stronger than she thought. he was closing in and regel tried not to gag on the sharp smell of alcohol on his breath. "stop," she poured all her strength into pulling back, but to no avail, they'll kick you out."

If she had been left to her own devices Aurora was sure that much more would go down without her knowledge then she would have liked, there were just to many places that she couldn’t keep her eyes on. however the club was installed with the best of the best in security systems, from the ones outside that kept a 360 view of the perimeter to the camera’s that were on the outer walls of each bathroom to make sure no one did anything bad (seriously what kind of a gang considered anything bad) which would cause the police to make an untimely visit to their establishment. With a small earpiece in and eyes in a room in the back watching every monitor Aurora was connected to everything, she was able to find her way to situations and calm with him super ease. It helped that she had a small watch that doubled as a pager for her bouncers as well, they were always just so busy beating up on people who they got to kick out that paging them like this was so much easier. “ boss she turned her head to glance at one of the cameras to let them know she acknowledged them, it was so much simpler then talking and it didn’t give her away. “ “ that new dancer we go in the real pretty one, looks like she got herself in some trouble with one of the regulars. On intel says his name is Jim Davis works at a company firm in accounting, married with two kids and apparently from our records he has bar hopped and we happen to be his last stop. He could be dangerous be careful”
Danger
She was sort of glad Luicen wasn’t at work yet as he would have never let her deal with such a thing on her own, he was always the type of man to sit in the shadows and wait for someone to have the courage to touch his darling partner. However now was the time to let a little of her adrenaline out and really work up a good jitter, what girl didn’t like a little excitement every now and again. With a quick click on her watch she had summoned two fearsome goons who would all but assure her success in this matter. “ how many times must I remind you Regel darling that when something looks like a dangerous situation that you must avoid it at all costs. Honestly it has nothing to do with your safety if I must be frank but we don’t want issues like this in the club” Aurora gave a small wink at the girl as if to let her know she was joking about the whole safety part, though in truth Aurora was far from it. However she couldn’t have people like this man making trouble for the club and she was sure as hell not going to let something like this happen on her watch on lord no she was too busy trying to make a name for herself to let stupid petty drunk morons ruin it for her. “ Now then you have five seconds to let go of my girl here or these two lovely men” as if out of nowhere two of the clubs more violent of bouncers appeared on either side of Aurora, classic hands down in front of them with their hands crossed waiting for the snap of a finger to mess someone up. It was honestly so good to have such control at the tip of her fingers like this, something like this power would be hard to give up or well that depended on exactly where she moved to. It was a dream of hers to once day rule the world as the leader of Synister but well that dream was one that she was going to have to work on for years to come. “ tick tock Sweety my patients is lacking and these two sweethearts behind me are just itching to find a new play to if you know what I mean”
