Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.

[attr="class","mecha"]We'll there yah go their 'first' meeting.
Lies were all around them, some small some bordering over the lines of the white lie it first started off as. Human nature cant keep its hands off it. A way for mortals to place a false sense of reprieved into their weary souls for others it’s a false sense of fantasy they engulfed themselves in. Choosing to see a life within the effaces of their own worlds while forgetting the world chooses to revolve around no one.
Time had a way with unravelling tightly knitted fabrications people forced themselves to believe. Tossing the dreamer out into harsh realities of the real world, humans were all the same, uniquely colored azure orbs shared the same hue as the skies watched the ripples dipping through the lake calm waters played upon the heat of the midsummer son. The clothes on her body ruffled from the unseen gust of warm air playing tag with the fallen leaves scattered through the tall leafy foliage swaying the tall grasses from left to right as it continuously pawed at it with an invisible hand.
The summer’s sun beaded down a normal twenty degrees heating the air, while at the same time the calming winds cooled themselves and the people living on the land most were out today in the midst of the afternoon. Birds flew over the horizons bringing in their melodic tunes and colorful array of feathers shining as the sun hit through the shiny tinted feathering. Right by the banks she stood, a child wearing a hooded sun dress with the colors going from a pale vibrant aqua going around the edges of the hem and collar of the light lavender colored dress that reached the middle of her knees. The hood fell over the child’s face, covering the golden colored strands of hair crowning her delicate heart-shaped face and the pretty oceanic eyes peeking from underneath. Cat ears stitched upon the hood blew along with the fabric as another gust of wind went by them.
Nothing to do for the day, in either of her lives schedule leaving the child the random desire to leave the fine comforts of her cozy home out in the open without any of the disguises usually covering the girl’s birth appearance. A weird unexplainable urge perhaps? She stopped to think about that. She let it slipped though, giving it a miniscule amount of thought alongside with the seemingly out of character act she had this morning. Perhaps it was more akin to her moods. She shook the thought off, the girl’s moods were just as unpredictable as her personality deemed her to be. A sigh left herself as she stepped closer to the water, the faint waves touched the heels of her sandals until she heard the uncharacteristic sound of footsteps walking down the path behind her, her body didn’t seemed to react. She willed it not to react to give the false belief of obliviousness when it turn she heard quite clearly, now who would be out in this fine weather day, a smirk curled upon those soft small lips fading back to the sweet look of a young girl simply out enjoying the day.
Show me the inner workings of the mind so that i may evolve
Something had brought the crazed and off setting boy out from the buildings of Blasphemy into a part of the world that he had never really bothered to walk through. A slight breeze took his silver hair into the air as he stopped for a moment and looked into the sky almost as if something was calling his name. Today was one of the more rarer days and especially in his state of mind as he seemed more docile and calm opposed than his erratic and " i'll kill you if you look at me wrong" face. Today he had been wearing a short sleeved collar shirt that covered his Synister tattoo and half of his upper arm tattoo's, black pants and a black pair of shoes all of which made him feel a bit better about walking around but he wouldn't dare wear this at work.
His crimson eyes stayed on the path in front of him as he continued to walk at a brisk but slow pace, his hands clinging softly in the confines of his pockets," What do those dreams mean," mumbling to himself he would begin to ponder on what the dreams or what he deems as "blank memories" meant. They came all the time at night showing him many things like an older man and woman standing over him and someone else, a girl, smiling down to them both and saying something that he couldn't make out except for his name. The thoughts themselves continued to rack inside of his mind until he stabbed the bed this morning trying to shake out of the depressing state that the dreams had put him in.
It was due to these thoughts that he arrived towards the area where someone was standing in the opposite direction of him, their back facing him which made him a little curious about what had been the point of them being here but he didn't blurt anything out like he usually does. Slowly he slid down the slope and walked towards the area that the young girl had been standing at until his body was somewhat beside her...no he felt the position to be wrong so he moved back and stood behind her in a more normal way for him and tilted his head," Why are you standing out here like bait?," he blinked twice as he waited for the girl to answer his question. Something about this girl felt off to him...but everything in this world felt off to him so it discarded it.

[attr="class","mecha"]LOL and here comes the part where she starts messing with him...he has been warned.
Time comes and goes flowing like the steady stream underneath her feet. Cool waters dabbed against her toes leaving behind a cooling touch from the air surrounding them. She paused for a second to watch the splendor of lights dancing through the surface as the rays of the sun reflected on the water’s surface. The ducks were out as well, quacking their calls to one another as a swan floated on the water sitting idly on the middle of the lake while the ducks swam past it. Flapping their wings splashed on the water scattering the droplets like tiny little jewels in the light of the sun.
Such a pretty scene that echoed along with soft patters of feet fast approaching he was careful, judging from the weight she would be right to assume a male was approaching from behind A swift glimpsed of white hair from the side of her eye forced her to close those azure irises squinting back the lone blockage she constructed between past and present.
Why now did it choose to bother her when before she felt content letting it drift away into the shades of the dark lands where all lost memories find themselves tossed in. Rayne was no different, she willingly discarded them, just as they discarded her. She would never forget, never again letting the twisted shriveled organ she called a heart beat for anyone. Not even for the last time. A voice snapped through her mindless reverie jostling the child back into the present time and away from the shadows of the past lurking at the back of her mind. She had no reprieved... she accepted the curse her father tried to escape from, molded it into the companion she seek, undying, forever there as the name imprinted on her chest.
Everlasting...
Forever, her eye moved to look back without moving her head, keeping the expression of miniscule interest. Azure colored almond shaped eyes finally turned to face the boy, craning her neck as dabbles of fine blond hair cascaded out of the hood partially hiding the rest of her face until she fully turned to face... an exact mirror image.
Eye and hair, became the only thing to differentiate the two beings facing each other. Gender as well as clearly the girl was a female and the boy was male. But she acted as if she hadn’t noticed. By this time her personality already shifted once it determined the situation and play she was to act in. “Hmm? Bait you say? Then I might have caught one already~” She mused her voice taking on a melodic after note as she spoke her words, a glint softly twinkled in her eye, one speaking of mischief and the impish nature hiding behind the veil of a wingless angel. “And what are you doing here?” She asked, eyeing him from head to toe, raising a delicate eyebrow quizzically the girl in turn continued her question. “You look pretty much out of place going here.”

For a moment he stood facing this strange girls back and looked at the current frame that made his mind wander and contort on just what the face and front looked like. Never did the thought of this woman being his sister that he had long forgotten due to his wreck some odd years ago come to mind, then again he couldn't even remember the small girl whom he had loved and admired in his youth...again not like he remembered a bit of it. As the body slowly turned around he would brace himself for either the worst or the better of the two options as his hands clenched the inside of his pockets. Once the girl had fully turned around he would blink and chuckle internally at the uncanny resemblance of the two...it was like looking into a freaking gender change mirror or something.
His mind questioned this same appearance for a moment before he involuntarily muttered to himself," Man...this is one of the weirder days of my life...meeting someone who looks almost like me is a bit weird," the last part may have been a little louder than he anticipated but then again he didn't really care. Her response however to his previous statement caused him to laugh for a moment before shaking his head," Not really the type to be caught by bait stranger, but nice try sweetheart," shaking his head he would pull back from her for a bit and walk over to the stream where he would stare into it and wonder....just what was it about this girl that felt so familiar?
The question even confused him for a moment because that was the main question on his mind...just why did he come here? Normally he would never come into these parts because they weren't exactly his cup of tea and they were way out of his comfort zone...funny how something became out of his comfort zone with all of the things he did in his profession. A brief shrug would replace his answer as he looked over his shoulder for a moment and stared at the girl," And you aren't exactly the type to be lurking around by yourself now are you? Shouldn't you be swamped with boys trying to buy you something or whatever those dumbasses do to get into your pants," it was funny how he considered himself on a separate level than other guys and it tickled him to see how much these normal guys got pissed when he ragged on them for being dumbasses and fighting over women or buying them expensive things just to get turned down.

[attr="class","mecha"]Oh dear... now shes gonna start,
Things have a way of happening mysterious events that dared mark their presence in her life long ago stunted what little ability she has to feel surprised diminished years ago to the point every bizarre thing that happened to her hardly manage to catch her off guard. She grew used to it, in her life nothing surprises her anymore. So when she looked at someone who might as well be the same gender bend image of her in a mirror... it hardly seemed to startle her. Nor did the child’s façade changed from the neutral carefree air around her.
She intended to make him feel as if she was oblivious to it, when it fact the girl already began to trap him in a circle of her ‘games’. Mind games, such a blessing it was in her life. Her gaze lingered on him for a couple more seconds as he moved closer to the water. She barely listened to his words, noting some of them while trying to examine the boy she used to know. Images of the past flew in her mind reeling in like an unbreakable record playing the same image of a white haired quiet child reading a random book to her while she stayed in bed due to another fit of illness.
Another one that of a boy, bidding her farewell... the forlorn caused of the emptiness. Memories those she wished she never possessed. She took control grasping those long lost glimpses of early childhood with a rough grip of a proverbial hand it hurled it back into the back burner, cutting it off from the rest of the child’s mental. She didn’t need it not the reminder of the life she had but in a sense. The twisted dark form of the two faced angel grinning at the corner couldn’t be more happier with the freedom granted to her. In spite of the blood payment she gave for it. It was all worth it... the girl smiled, mimicking one of an amused individual with perfect ease she made sure to add the fake emotions to the act she was about to pull. “Really now?” She arched an eyebrow,
“Sorry but those types bore me.” Lips curled the smile into a mischievous smile. The smile however had two sides she carefully hid behind the friendly upfront. Acting had it’s uses and so did dramatics when a person knows how to maintain their role. She spun back on her heels to face the lake. “A girl can enjoy nature what not, it not illegal to come here alone.” Chuckled the child. Oh how precious, the boy from the looks of it hasn’t even noticed. She was right to think of the survival. She was right. It just made the festering wound grow in length the faint flashbacks of abandonment, lonely nights wishing for her parents return but they never did...
Oh wasn’t this just delicious she thought sarcastically, scorn dabbled on the last word before repressing it back.
”Onii-chan where are you”
”Mama, papa please come back...!
Faint voices of the past rang in her ear, echoing in the dark landscape of her mind until she too pushed those off as the voices grew dimmer and dimmer until it left nothing but silence. “One more thing honey,” For a split second the happy go lucky aura shifted into a malignant being hell bent on destruction from the mini form of blood lust that seeped from it. “Don’t call me sweet heart.” And then it vanished as if it never existed. The happy air around her appeared as though it never really disappeared in the first place. A trick of the mirror perhaps. The game is starting and now shes calling for the players in her twisted guessing game.

A small chuckle escaped the lips of Athrun as he nodded slightly and began to ponder on something that began to buzz in the back of his head. The odds of someone looking exactly like you is astronomical...wait how did he know that word? Either way he didn't think of this to be a coincidence so rather abruptly he would interject," You aren't a female clone of me are you? I mean if you are i came out to be a sexy ass girl but come on this is freaking me out," oh what mistakes he was making left and right when he was talking to his sister but since he didn't know it came natural to him. Usually twins would have the internal connection that would let them know mentally..emotionally when they were close to each other, and that would help them know where their opposite was. In his case he felt nothing but an odd sense of deja vu which to his surprise would be tearing the relationship he COULD mend further apart.
Well at least she wasn't shallow enough to go for the wanna be guys and the ones that kiss up and down the girls ass for something, the brotherly instinct would have involuntarily came out and killed someone without him even knowing why. A brief chuckle would escape his lips as he answered her," At least you have some standards opposed to some of these women now a days...so what did you really come out here for...not just to enjoy nature is it," it couldn't be the answer seeing as you could go anywhere like a part to enjoy nature or something but to each their own. He didn't mind her answer nor did he really care about it but something continued to bother him about it.
At the last moment he would laugh seeing the other side of this girl or so he believed to be as he reached behind him to grab his gun but stopped before he could even get to it, shaking his head in amusement," Sure why not....what should i call you then since you apparently have an issue with that," oh was he trying his hardest not to be himself around her, but it was something about her that had made him....normal in a sense.

[attr="class","mecha"]Well this is going to be fun...prepare to be mindfuck.
Little by little cracks of darkness seeped from the once light being staining the purity of the innocent soul that no longer possessed a tiny morsel of innocence. She could stay for hours, speaking of a tale spun with such drama and tears that it might have been a cut out from a soap opera most housewives fancy during their television hours. But what would that gain her? A twisted reprieved that begged to be satiated. Looking at him now the child felt her amusement rise to palpable level in which she could call upon a game brewing in the darkest corners of her twisted dark mind.
Rayne in plain terms has gone from the complete angelic being that showered herself with light into a fallen angel that reveled in the decay of life she caused around her. The two faced angel as she was infamously named for her ability to seem like god’s sweetest creation for one second then to a being the devil would bow down.
She... wasn’t the same innocent child but a twisted mass of demonic presence that long to be satiated. Her game was calling for her, begging to be spun in the outside world through the twist and turn of every word she created from her lips. Her personality finally found the perfect mask to don for this ‘show’ as she closed her eyes, listening to the words the boy spew while internally chuckling at his obliviousness. Really, how blunt must she be for this man? Oh know, obviousness would break the game she planned to showcase. With a soft playful tone in the reverberating in the air there was something in the presence that made it more easier to calm down. The energy she molded gave the sense easiness rather than the dark presence felt awhile ago.
Oh how good she was in hiding things isn’t it? The child outwardly chuckled out after he asked his question, turning back she had her hands behind her as she stretched casually. “Hmm? What do you mean?” She turned to face him. A twinkle in her eye spoke of the humor she held in her tone. “I came here, just like any regular person or would you be asking the reason for a random stroll in the park cause I certainly could toss the answer back to you and choose not to reply to this one.” And there she goes, speaking once more in a riddlic tone that gave no true answer much to irritate those around her.
“Twin you say? I don’t know, obviousness much be really the weakest mindset here, apparently that’s not for me to answer now is it?” She gave him a cunning smirk, walking a few inches towards his direction until she passed him by a few inches but enough that her words would touch his ears. “Isn’t it lovely? The past certainly loved to slap you in the face, amusing isn’t it?” She purred, laced with soft caressed of a melodic undertone she spoke through the smile that only seem to grow. She giggled softly relishing in giving the boy more questions than answers. “Isn’t it dear Athrun.”The final bait to her game now to see if the boy would bite through.
Was she really trying to play mind games with him? Trying to psych him out like the old psychologist from the asylum he spent most of his time in? This girl...had something many did not and surprisingly it did not piss him off....it made him interested in who she was. A grin played on the face of the young teenager as he scratched the spacing under his tattoo on the right of his eye slowly while contemplating," You may have a point there but then again i could have been on my way to go and do some business or something or could have been here to meet someone in secrecy...which must have been what you didn't want to do, either way it doesn't matter to me," shrugging he would turn from the girl and back to the river where his crimson eyes would continue to stare into it deeply.
Her words sounded not only as a mess of condescending narcissistic bullshit but it also sounded as if she was insulting him on the highest level, but if he were to give into what she was saying this place would be a bundle of bloody goodness...but something inside of him demanded that he be normal for once but for what? What was this driving force that made him decide to be so docile and calm around this strange asshole and what was causing him to not try to kill her off every turn? There were so many questions that he couldn't even answer for himself that would continue to rattle and contort his already fragile mind that he shook his head continuously until he figured out an answer," Your riddles are annoying," the crimson eyes turned to see her walk past him and back to the river.
"Isn’t it lovely? The past certainly loved to slap you in the face, amusing isn’t it?”
What did she mean by this? It was bad enough that his mind had already been perplexed and puzzled by not only his strange dreams and this girls appearance that resembled his own. A pounding headache began to form inside of his mind as he slowly reached up to rub his temples in distress but stopped as to not show his short lived weakness to this girl. With a soft shrug he would glance over to her and speak," I don't know... The past is a blur of an image so its hard for something to slap you in the face when you have no memory of it," his eyes returned to the lake.
“Isn’t it dear Athrun.”
The words...his NAME cut through his ears like a dagger made just to kill him as he stopped moving altogether and turned towards her like a robot until his crimson eyes stared at her in not only shock but in bewilderment as he stared at her," How.....do you know my name? Who the fuck are you!!!," his head in that instant began to pulse uncontrollably as he stepped away from her as his world began to flash and contort with the images of his childhood but the face were more contorted and misshapen than ever. Athrun began to growl as he backed away from the girl who had said his name. Within moments he would have ran from the area with only one thought in his mind now ; Who was this girl who knew his name.

[attr="class","mecha"]such a little sadist...
He ran... He freaking ran. The girl mused in glee watching his figure race out of the area, as if he had seen a ghost. In theory she might be a revenant coming back to haunt them with their past. She chuckled softly, slowly turning into full blown laughter at the scene. It was too delectable for her. It fed her starving desire for a playmate she can play her games with. The games she had in mind aren’t something most people would find enjoying...
Or down right sane for the matter, though it was already debatable if Rayne did possess a single strand of sanity in that twisted mind of hers. This was her form of love, her affection for those who turned their backs on her and left her to the mercy of those dogs but now...it was her turn to demand retribution. Tears gathered as she laughed out loud in the silence of the surrounding forest no one would deemed the child insane for laughing her heart out at what transpired mere moments ago.
“I broke him... how amusing, the little pet couldn’t take a few cuddles.” She smirked, her lips twisting into a sadistic smile contradicting the angelic features she was blessed with. Rayne was no angel, she long ago shed the thought of any holiness in her being. It was purged out by those who wanted to make a demonic vessel out of her. They planted the seed of evil in her, and ironically it bloomed into a hellish looking monstrosity inside her. Her eyes still stared long after his presence disappeared, smirking and biding her time for the unwilling victim to come play with her again... and maybe...
“I will make you people feel the same thing I felt all those years ago...” She uttered lovingly into the winds as she happily skipped down towards the lone pathway.
