Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.
strands of blonde hair slipped into scarlet tinted eyes; however, the owner of the strangely hued eyes only blinked, moving the strands behind his ear in a reflexive motion. his focus remained on his target—a billionaire mundane from the united states. his boss ordered him to unearth the truth behind the official’s sudden decision to visit selene isle, and while skylar had been investigating independently, his boss’s orders had been a veritable ray of light upon his desolate world. due to his appearance and lack of jurisdiction, the blonde kept finding himself stonewalled by bodyguards and power hungry secretaries; however, with “official” permission from his boss, he could access various files and begin infiltrating the building. pale lips curved into a delighted smirk as he carefully crept forward, using the bushes as a shield and listening intently to the man’s conversation. the distance distorted the sequence of words as the man’s voice faded and rose in accordance with his emotions. pale brows furrowed as he pulled his pen out from behind his ear, pulling off the cap and hastily jotting down any relevant snatches of sentences from the conversation. his smile slowly morphed into a puzzled frown as the conversation drew to a close.
cautiously, he peeked over the bushes, watching as the politician gestured for his protection detail to follow him inside. the action sent waves of dismay through skylar, for the golden haired journalist saw the phone conversation as his golden ticket. when the last bodyguard disappeared inside, the zero sacrifice turned and plopped on the ground, using the bushes as support and starting up at the cloudless blue sky. ugh. he breathed as a fist collided with the ground, grass bending due to the impact. so close. a sigh slipped past his parted lips and caused his shoulders to fall slightly—a subtle display of his obvious disappointment. yes, he enjoyed stalking and loved collecting blackmail; however, the united states visitor’s paranoia hindered his capabilities to unearth the dark secrets that apparently haunted the man. i guess i’ll try again tomorrow. i need to visit the library and begin hacking into the mayor’s system anyway. the reminder of his other jobs helped motivate the youth. after slipping his pen behind his ear and cramming his notepad into his pocket, the fair haired photographer pushed himself to his feet, crouching instantly and using the bushes to mask his escape from the yard. technically, he should not be inside the gates though imposing fences never managed to restraint him—neither locking him in nor keeping him out.
with practiced ease, he scaled the gate and then jumped down, landing in a crouch and glancing from side to side, and upon deeming the area clear of possible tourists or security members, he bolted, racing down the street and instantly turning into a hidden alley. using his knowledge of the area, he traced a route to the library located in the new moon district. few people remembered the ancient building as it existed before the true pair’s inhabitation of selene isle; however, it was the perfect spot for extensive spying operations. cautious crimson colored eyes darted around as he hopped up the front stairs and approached the double doors. to open the doors, he needed to use his entire body weight and nearly collapsed when it finally opened fully. a wide smile spread across his pallid mien as he walked through the entrance hall, exiting into the large, circular dome that held an almost impossible selection of books. nostalgia assaulted the blonde as he darted toward his preferred table, which was situated in the middle of the circular area. his camera bag and notepad appeared on the wooden table, and moments later, he produced an ipad and laptop from a hidden black bag. one pale finger jabbed at the power button. as he waited for his electronics to commence operations, he tipped his chair back, staring up at the ceiling and finding his blood red gaze locked with another similar set of eyes.
ciao, morgan! he chirped in greeting, lifting a hand to wave lazily at his fellow seven moons member. come to spy upon my work? i thought you had more class than that. the teasing jab escaped skylar as he lowered his chair, coming face-to-face with his chosen desktop image. delighted giggles escaped him as he typed in his password, watching as the various applications began appearing on the screen. are you planning to join me? or are you going to be a creep and watch from above? the eagle view won’t provide you with any new gossip today. after selecting the appropriate application, the blonde fished a cord out of his bag, connecting his laptop and ipad before choosing a similar application on his trusty tablet. footsteps reached his ears though he refused to turn and look, focusing on the task at hand, for to corner the visiting politician, he needed information from the mayor’s office. plus… if anyone could help him in his endeavor, morgan could. he may hate turning to the ravenette for assistance… but morgan understood the subtleties of stalking, of prey and predator… which contrasted heavily with his figher’s—amakusa’s—more confrontational style of investigation. for this one session, he would have to bite the bullet, swallow his pride, and beg for morgan’s skill set.

Will tonight ever make a difference?
The black haired boy was so bored! Why did things have to happen? What was he supposed to do, at this point it made him really frustrated. Grumpy because of boredom sounded about right for him. Though he'd keep that to himself. After all no one was around to hear it, and he didn't need people digging into his life that he didn't like. Basically. So what could he end up saying right now? Would it even end up helping either at that point. All he knew was that Morgan needed some excitement and his sacrifice was off busy somewhere. Just how annoying was that. Couldn't he somehow manage to get some fun in all of this?
Probably not, the boy crossed his arms over his chest and just flopped back to look up. What was he supposed to say? He felt so frustrated and he'd rather just not dig into this stuff. Like it'd end up doing him any good. Morgan glanced around then yawned, he felt too tired. The lack of things to do only managed to make him tired again. Go figure, he apparently had very little luck with this sort of thing. Right now all of this made him way too frustrated, why did he have to be bored? Really. This was not something he wanted to deal with, Morgan would rather be off getting drunk somewhere. That sounded like such a good idea to the black haired eighteen year old anyway.
He got up and walked now, he was just not wanting to deal with anything. So he was walking past the other people mostly ignoring them. This wasn't even going to matter, so what could he say? Morgan heard a voice and grumbled. Not that person. He really didn't want to deal with them. He wasn't a people person but he only gave a small laugh. "Haha do I need to spy on your work? I could just make you show me~ Remember I have my ways?" Morgan stuck his tongue out as he spoke and smirked. He was enjoying this way too much. To him it had become some sort of game, oh wait everything was a game to Morgan. Even if he ended up dying he would just laugh over it.
Morgan was not a depressing person, or one dealing with those things. Basically. But what was he going to say? He could just hear Adriano yelling at him for trying to quit. Or just giving up, or seeming to accept his fate. Couldn't be all that surprising. That was just how Adriano was, a boy who spoke through fierce means to get what he wanted to anyway. It might not end up mattering to begin with at that point. So for now he'd rather just ignore him ,but too late on that one.
"Oh please hunny, I have my ways to do things. You know that much. So tell me did you find anything good today, or did it escape from you again?" He glanced at him and tilted his head. Morgan seemed to be questioning that, but did it even matter. Apparently not. So for now he was wondering just what exactly he wanted. It wasn't like this guy went out of his way to talk to him. Skylar could be so annoying when he wanted to be that was for sure. It was pretty much something that he knew. Though he wouldn't end up bringing up much about that. This was a back and forth game he really wanted to play today. He just would rather hope nothing business like or stupid and boring would mess it up. Morgan looked at him, and wondered what he was actually going to say.
He couldn't just be doing this to tease him now could he? He just moved over to lean against Skylar and glance at his work. What was he trying to do? It sure looked interesting he wanted to play along. Or find something to do, anything to get into that game. Morgan hated to help him but now if he got some fun out of it he might change his mind for a little. Would his darling enemy allow him some fun? And pay for him to have that fun too. Morgan's services were not actually free after all.
He had a feeling this person wanted something from him, but he couldn't wait to find out what it was.
and i have mine, the blonde responded instantly—without thought and without bite. he and morgan shared an interesting relationship due to their shared interest in the art of stalking; however, skylar rarely turned to the ravenette for assistance. he believed in conquering his hurtles without assistance though dragging amakusa on his insane adventures could be considered assistance. the red head, however, was more of a hindrance. their styles contrasted with each other, and while they complimented each other on the battlefield, other jobs resulted in failure. the sum of the matter was that the golden haired zero required morgan’s help and loathed the idea of subjecting himself to the blackette’s price. nothing was for free. he understood that sentiment; he lived by that sentimentality. even if morgan did not demand a reward for his efforts, the fair haired sacrifice would force the other to voice a request, not willing to tarnish his life rules because of his fellow seven moons member's attitude. in fact, he would rather prove his superiority; alas, his job hinged on his assignment. his boss wanted the information and wanted it soon, which meant the red eyed minx needed to work fast. his style involved languid investigations and several weeks of pursuing the intended target, and the pressure left his mind reeling though the pace sent spikes of adrenaline through his body.
a presence behind him caused his eyes to shift away from the screen, which displayed a loading screen. pale lips curved into a mischievous grin as the blonde gestured toward the seat beside him, and as the bar slowly crept toward completion, he reached out and snagged his notepad, pulling his pen out from behind his ear with his free hand. his brows furrowed while he flipped to the page of interest and glanced over his hastily written notes. the information is mediocre. couldn’t get close enough to hear clearly, he grumbled with a petulant pout flashing across his androgynous features. the security for that guy understand their job description and requirements to a tee. it’s ridiculous. crimson hued eyes shifted between his computer screen and his notes, mentally cataloguing the gaps and organizing the gathered intel. the guy seemed far too interested in selene isle’s government though, so i suppose we don’t really have to worry. we’re mainly tailing the guy out of curiosity… and to reaffirm our reputation. his inane chattering ended as the loading screen vanished, replaced by the mayor’s recently accessed documents and applications. delighted laughter momentarily escape him as he turned to face morgan, joy disappearing from his visage while an unusual seriousness appeared.
i’m researching our american politician for personal and professional reasons; however, to gain access to his office, i need to unearth the reason behind his visit. the guards refuse to allow me access to his office, and the security’s too tight at the government building for me to sneak in alone, the words rolled off his tongue as he shifted to face his laptop, mouse moving to click the email icon. i need help piecing together the entire image. plus the politician has begun investigating the wrong organizations. rapture or wraith might catch wind of his movements, and i want to stonewall him before that. pale lips quirked into a malicious grin as he selected the first email of the extensive list of files. you don’t have to help, but i could use another set of eyes. plus… there’s the physical investigation at the mayor’s house later. few people remember the importance of physical files, but the mayor’s learned to take precautions. he won’t have any official official documents on his computer. with his eyes shifting to the side and studying the dark haired fighter, skylar found himself wondering if morgan would take the bait and assist him… or if he would demand another price. are you in?

"Of course you do blondie." He smirked and just leaned back a bit more, this wasn't so bad to him. After all what did he have to worry about? Not like Sky could do a darn thing to him. This was a rivalry they had with each other and sometimes it was just way way too much fun. Go figure on that one right? Perhaps he needed to somehow figure things out, see what his annoying off and on friend wanted. This couldn't be something he even wished to deal with. How was he supposed to say this? How was he supposed to calm down and deal? Oh right, the way he always did. Morgan knew how to calm himself, and then push this boy's buttons. It made things all the more fun when they had to work together. Which was a rare occasion thing but still. Did it even matter how rare it was?
He wanted to find out what was up. Just what he wanted, after all it wasn't like Sky to ask for help from him unless it was majorly important. So right now he had to wondered just how far was his cute friend willing to go. Well not friend, they were so far from friends basically. Simple as that really. He'd rather not end up dwelling on this way too much. It wasn't likely to help matters. He only leaned back against the boy, and peeked over at his papers at least. He'd be able to see just what he was up to before he was even told. Why did Sky think he needed to do anything. Sky had to have more brains with that, but maybe his own partner wasn't going to be helpful. He probably had no skill in this department.
"This is why you take place of his guards, he'll think of someone as a new recruit and won't suspect a damn thing, then afterwards one just disappears. Or fakes death. It always works. But whatever, you came to me for help. So I'd feel bad if I re-haha I can't finish that with a straight face. I'll only help you because I'm bored and it interests me. Simple as that." He had his ways of getting information, he always had. And he would not change his mind, he could play the cute little flirt now that he thought about it. No doubt this man had a dark side that was wrapped up in the world of sleeping with men. Or he could pull the old girl switch, make someone think he was a female. He had the slight body for something like that.
"Fine I'll help you, but only because I want to cause someone a few problems. He'll never manage to catch wind of me anyway. Barely anyone does, now come on when do we do this? and just how much do I get to do? You know I like to have control over things just a little bit. And the payment better be good, more then just my entertainment right now." This was alright, he'd have a lot of fun if Sky came through with his end of the deal. But that was still somewhat uncertain. Something he probably shouldn't bring to the front of this conversation. It wasn't likely to help.
"All of his files are probably hidden somewhere secret in his office. It'll be fun to find them don't you think?" He asked as he tilted his head a little bit. This was all so interesting to him. The idea of figuring things out like this sounded so good to him. But of course he'd keep that to himself. For at least a little while.
for once, skylar appreciated morgan’s near constant boredom. he understood that the ravenette enjoyed the thrill of the hunt and appreciated seeing the results of his efforts; however, the blonde lingered on their similarities, which both repelled and attracted them to one another. they gravitated toward each other due to their shared interests, and on occasion, the fair haired journalist sought out the blackette’s skills, needing a second pair of eyes or another body to work with. his boss hated outsider assistance, which meant keeping morgan’s contribution a secret, but he delighted in aggravating his boss and would often mention seeking aid from his friend to the man, failing to inform the old coot of their strange relationship. in his opinion, their relationship balanced upon extremes, which manifested themselves in their on-and-off friendship. friendship was a misleading term though, for they did not view each other in a friendly light. no, they developed a strange rivalry that revolved around their need for knowledge and connection to seven moons. he doubted they could drag themselves into the realm of friendship though they could concoct a believable act for the audience. with a soft hum, he exited the file, scrolling down until a title caught his attention, and with a click of the mouse, he revealed the required information.
tried to replace a guard. knocked out four before deciding i’d never find one close enough to my size. it was exhausting work, skylar murmured in disdain, leaning his chair back and pulling his ipad onto his lap. i’m glad it interests you, for it seem like he’s been investigating seven moons. i see adriano’s name on the list here. wonder if he’s a target. his voice gained a musing undertone as he continued to read over the file, which detailed a list of the american politician’s recent actions. the mayor understood the importance of discretion; however, his employees refused to see the point in physically presenting information to their boss, which resulted in grievous mistakes. nice to see your confidence hasn’t diminished. we’re going to need a bit of… swagger. crimson hued eyes lit up in mischief as he pulled up another file, transferring the email’s contents to the supposedly blank document. we’ll be running on a tight schedule, and it’ll have to be a convincing act. with those words, the blonde allowed the chair to descend onto the wooden floor, ipad appearing on the table next to his laptop and chair scraping against the aged floor. with practiced ease, he lifted himself out of the chair and walked away from the table, seemingly glancing over the closest row of books.
as his fingers brushed over the spines of the books, he shrugged his shoulders. name your price. i’d wait until we finish though, for you never know what we might find. when his fingers bumped into the correct book, a delighted grin spread across his pale visage. for now though, welcome to my secret base. it’s a marvelous discovery. upon voicing those words, he whirled around and took five cautious steps forward before shifting a chair out of the way and revealing a hidden door. skylar crouched down next to the door handle, heaving it open and then staring into the gloomy depths. do you have a flashlight? i didn’t think to bring mine… hadn’t thought we’d be needing anything from down here, but i don’t believe our current attire will lead to any successful endeavors to infiltrate the mayor’s office. blood red tinted eyes shifted back to morgan, head cocking to the side while he waited for a response. and yes, i expect it’ll be very… entertaining. soft laughter spilled from his prone form while he placed an elbow against his thigh, resting his chin upon his palm and mentally counting the passing seconds. ah, the joy in secrets, he thought to himself in silent pride.

This had to be fun, something good would happen? Right. Or at least so he thought. He almost felt a bit uncertain about all of this, it lost him. What was he going to say or do? Other then just agreeing to what his partner for the moment wanted. That was all, this was fun. He couldn't wait to tear someone's life down. He could be so heartless sometimes but this was Morgan, he was always that way. Whether he wanted to admit any of it or not. He did not care what people thought, or what this person wanted either. He would just get some excitement. So what if the man's boss would hate it. That didn't matter to Morgan. Never had, probably never would at this point anyway.
Now he wondered if they'd be able to do something, anything. After all he didn't want to sit here forever. It'd be way to boring if he was just sitting here. And the boy already knew that much. But this was all on Sky, and how far he'd go. Or how long he even wanted to take any of this either at this point. He'd make this a lot easier, after all Morgan knew how to do things. He knew how to figure things out and make people give him information. No matter what the cost was he knew that much. It was a miracle he hadn't lost his ears yet, but he had his way around things. Getting someone drunk but not giving into desires got him the information he needed half the time anyway.
What all had he done to get information so far? That was something he was truly curious about. Though like it'd matter. Things happened in strange ways to begin with at this point anyway. "Oh really, well come on ya gotta be more creative then that ya know. It helps you out a lot, don't you think." The guard replacing thing was like the oldest trick in the book. He'd done it so many times, and people were weird about that. Most of the time they knew what to do, and how to do this sort of thing better. But of course Sky still had so much to learn, not that Morgan would teach him.
"You shoulda asked me, I can make anyone think I'm a guard. Or something. But whatever playing the guard is kinda boring too. It's fun to play the criminal the mistress to the boss instead." He almost felt annoyed that Adriano was on that list. As if he deserved to be on such a list anyway. Right? Of course he'd make it a convincing act. He didn't want anyone else playing with his sacrifice. That was his job and he did not share with anyone else. Simple as that really, at least at this point. What was he going to say? He'd just have to go along with this sort of thing pretty much. Even when he might not want to. "Whatever man let's just go, my price I'll think of it later. Right now I wanna play this little game, and figure this mission out. See what information that dick has on any of us which probably isn't much. No flash light just catch me if I fall~" He purred as he spoke this was alright. He figured it would all be alright.
At least he seemed happy but Morgan wanted to find out what information that stupid man knew. The man they were trying to investigate.
a huff escaped the blonde, cheeks puffing up as his gaze shifted away from morgan and toward the yawning depths of the secret room. only the guards would provide the appropriate cover for my purposes at the time, he grumbled. skylar understood that morgan doubted his competence and took vindictive pleasure in surprising the blackette, for blackmail meant death or survival to him. he discovered the delicate art during his years with the scientists of seven moons and had been developing his skill set since that fateful day. he, however, suffered from androgynous features and a deceptively slender figure. unfortunately, the american politician employed lumbering giants, and with his prospective targets towering over him, the golden haired zero admitted defeat, bowing his head to the paranoia of the visiting mundane. despite the raven haired male’s confidence, his success was not guaranteed though the blonde kept his opinion to himself, knowing that he required the other’s assistance and may not receive said aid if he insulted him.
crimson tinted eyes shifted back to morgan for a fleeting second, connecting with similarly colored eyes. a pity, he muttered while shifting his position, shuffling forward and then leaning over the edge of the hidden doorway. his hands carefully brushed along the edges until his fingers bumped into the wooden ladder. pale lips curved into a satisfied smile as he shifted to rest on his knees. i’ll head down first and see if i can find a light source. i’ll yell when it’s safe to come down. with those words, he turned to face the bookshelf, foot carefully descending to rest on the first rung of the rickety ladder. it creaked ominously under his weight, but skylar proceeded, heedless of the possible risks associated with clambering up and down the aged object. his stash of costumes rested underneath the library, acting as back-up storage due to the lack of room in his closet. amakusa and the rest had only seen a third of his clothing collection. he barely managed to keep himself from bursting into laughter as he carefully descended into the depths of the library’s basement.
unlike the hidden room, the main basement of the library could be accessed from the main floor, but the wide space housed an expansive variety of aged books, which had been taken off the shelves and stored away. a small segment of the basement had been roped off and converted into a hidden sanctuary, which skylar used to store his costumes and to stow away more sensitive information. instead of wood, his foot connected with the concrete of the basement floor, marking the end of his downward voyage. ruby red colored eyes searched the darkness, hands sliding along the walls as he walked fearlessly into the oppressing darkness. he did not mind the endless black and found a lingering sense of peace despite the pressing urgency of his quest. his forward momentum halted as his hand connected with a switch, fingers easily flicking the object into the opposite position and eyes blinking rapidly as light immediately filled the space. MORGAN, YOU CAN COME DOWN, his voice echoed off the walls of the cavern-esque space as he waited for the telltale signs of the ladder’s creaking and moaning.

Really he was not bothered by this, it didn't matter. They'd at least be able to have some fun, he didn't seem to care much for anything else basically. Right? What could he say at this point? It'd probably not end up helping or making matters easier. Honestly Morgan wanted to know what he'd get into. Or what this was even about. Basically, more or less he felt completely fine on this one. "I suppose so but those guards are annoying. Basically." Really the black haired male hated to deal with those people. It would never end up actually improving matters for them. Not for him anyway. But at the same time it confused him. Why did he feel like he was thinking about things a lot more then he should. His sister's death was still fresh on his mind so maybe that was why.
While he didn't know if he was fond of Adriano yet he didn't want to get wrapped up in something stupid that would get him killed. Basically. This was just one of those things, one of those days he couldn't quite get past even if he tried to. It already seemed slightly too complicated. But this mission was just going to be so much fun he couldn't wait for it. He didn't care if they thought it might fail. No Morgan always managed to make things work. Even if people didn't know how he did it, he just knew how to make things succeed. And there was no way he'd end up changing his mind anytime soon. Basically. One couldn't blame him for those things now could they? Right. It was just one of those he hoped sort of things at this point.
What would his blonde gift for the moment do. After all they weren't friends. They didn't get along in that way. It was never actually going to happen. And he'd keep on that spot. That way. Basically. He'd rather not end up dragging it in some other way. Basically. So what was he supposed to do. Morgan just waited, he kept his arms crossed over his chest as he waited for that man to call him down. Though really he'd rather just walk back down there himself. But no of course it was not likely to work out either at this point. "Hurry up." He huffed, he was a bit impatient. Then again Morgan always had that side of him that was so impatient and didn't like to wait for others.
He honestly didn't care. Why would he bother to care? Such a thing was awkward enough for him at this point. "Yea yea! I'm coming jeez, you echo too much." He just laughed a bit as he walked down, this didn't entirely bother him. He just looked around as he walked down. At least it seemed okay and no one was down here to attempt to jump them anyway. Right? So right now he felt that this would be fun. Mostly. And yet he was not going to talk about that. Since it was probably not that bad, or anything. For now.
This space seemed immense, but whatever. He'd rather not care much about it.
silence descended upon skylar as his frame tensed, breathlessly waiting for the creaking of the rickety ladder. the blonde loathed dealing with morgan’s impatient nature and realized that he needed to accelerate the preparation process, for he still required the blackette’s assistance. effeminate features twisted into a displeased frown upon catching the faint sound of his companion’s voice. a huff escaped him while his cheeks expanded, puffing out and painting him in a younger light. the other’s flippant behavior grated on his nerves, and it served to reinforce the fact that he and morgan could never be friends. they barely managed to maintain a civil relationship. no, the golden haired journalist recognized the importance of keeping his distance from the ravenette. their clashing personalities might spell the end of seven moons if they continued to accept missions together.
of course, skylar could only blame himself for the current situation. the time restriction hindered him from seeking out azrael or amakusa, and despite his disregard of his fighter’s capabilities, the red head tended to agree to accompany him on quests. pale lips curved into an amused smile as the creaking of the ladder broke the silence of the room, shattering the peacefulness of the scene and reminding the fair haired zero of his current predicament. he understood that the mundane governments wanted to understand the true pair society; however, they lacked the resources necessary to infiltrate selene isle. they lacked intel regarding the various groups and were steadily traversing the path of their demise, yet he needed to unearth evidence of the american politician’s true goals and of his deceit.
the sound of shoes colliding with the concrete ground grabbed the blonde’s attention, and with a careless shrug of his shoulders, blood red hued eyes shifted to momentarily trace over morgan’s figure. his blouse flared as he pivoted to face his immense collection of clothing. welcome to my second closet, skylar stated before disappearing into the racks of garments. clattering followed his movements as he searched for the required costumes. we’ll be masquerading as assistants to the mayor—one male and one female. the female assistant will run interference while the male one secures the required information. the words rolled off his tongue as he continued his search. the zero sacrifice thrived upon collecting information, so his proposed plan aligned with his skill set, meaning ample amusement for the youth.
strands of blonde hair fluttered into his eyes as he leaned to the side, allowing his head to appear from behind one of the racks. one pale brow rose in obvious impatience while his lips curved into a noticeable frown. are you planning to help? skylar queried, clearly unimpressed with morgan’s work ethic. and i’ll let you decide who assumes which role. our outfits will need to match, and we’ll probably want to use a darker color… maybe a charcoal grey… he trailed off while repositioning himself in an upright position and casting his gaze over the kaleidoscope of colors situated before him. perhaps a dark red… rust maybe… words continued to escape him as he thoughtfully resumed his perusal of his available garments, forgetting about his companion and throwing himself into the preparation process with obvious glee.
