Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.

Fingers rapidly danced through the screen forming eligible words for the recipient to understand. Letters formed into words then to sentences in a blinked of the untrained eye. The warm glow of summer descended upon the streets. People went and go, pedestrians went by their daily schedules men and woman alike walked through the busy district to both shop and roam in one of the island’s busiest areas. This...
Was a kin to Shinjuku in japan only on a smaller scale this was where the shops ran rampant, for sale signs dotted every window as the seasonal sale began, Ame didn’t know why they had to choose a day like this to shop. A day where this place would be a battle ground for shoppers of all ages. She wasn’t looking forward to delving into something mother called. ‘The pit of the hungry lions’ to grab a morsel of fabric for herself, She wasn’t looking forward to it...
At all, it’s written all over the stoic mask plastered on her delicate mien. She sighed softly glancing down on the watch tied on her wrist the girl lifted a hand to adjust the sun hat she wore to protect her head. Now she wished she brought her shades as well, she squinted a glare at the sun, bringing a hand to cover her eyesight from the worse of the sun’s glare. Where was he? She began to look around, in a sea of civilians it was a challenge trying to spot something that stood out. Her uncle’s hair...stood out everywhere he went, but spotting it in this chaotic circus was like trying to spot a frail dandelion seed about its been blown from the flower.
Her height wasn’t helping either...she sighed one more time, this time her fingers wrapped around the white fabric of her sleeveless sun dress, white ruffles fluffed up lightly through the summer breeze, blowing the small string ribbon connecting to the lace crisscrossing on the middle part of her chest. Mother and uncle insisted she wear this... for the love of the almighty science... Ame didn’t really care to understand why she needed to wear something like this just for a shopping spree.
Looking back, though the couplet drinking coffee by one of the benches looking past that she saw the familiar bright sheen of red spark, her eye immediately caught it as she moved past the overflow of people, her height making it easier to squeeze through the ongoers as she soon found herself within her Uncle’s path. Looking up at him, she gave a quick innocent tilt on her head as she tapped his tap in a small code they develop to speak. ‘Here.’ Was the simply understandable word she wanted to pass.

Can I clear my conscience, if I'm different from the rest, do I have to run and hide? I never said that I want this, this burden came to me, and it's made its home inside.

ooc: I thought I knew where this thread was going, then I remembered Az doesn't use money, BUT I THINK I HAVE IT FIGURED OUT NOW )o)
Az didn't usually leave the house during daylight hours since he all too often got much unwanted attention from resembling his identical twin, who had some hobbies which left the both of them with little shade from the limelight. Recently, however, it was discovered that the contents of his dear little niece's wardrobe were severely lacking; this was more than enough of an excuse to go out during the day. This was practically an emergency. What sort of teenage girl doesn't own a single dress without some wear, tear, or massive bloodstains? This was unacceptable!
Alright, truth be told, Az didn't give a rat's ass about pieces of fabric. He really just wanted an excuse to get out of the house. People were going to start thinking that he was a ghost if he kept his skin from touching the sun for much longer.
Az turned at the familiar tapping and glanced down at Ame, dark sunglasses glinting as he changed the angle of his head. The outfit he wore and the way he carried himself made him appear decidedly more masculine than feminine today. He didn't smile, but that was far from unusual for him. "Your mission today is to acquire at least two outfits, one of which must be a dress" Az signed in the language of the little-known country where he had been raised. Ame had been living with Az and his brother long enough to understand it. Turning towards a clothing shop, Az began to walk off, expecting Ame to simply follow him.
She would also know from living with them that, even though a mission may sound completely idiotic, it should still be taken seriously. Or, at least as seriously as a Az treated anything. So basically not seriously at all as long as she got the "mission" done.

This wasn’t the first time Az did something as unpredictable as this Ame learned to read him long ago but even then. It’s a challenge to figure out her uncle’s uncanny movements. It was the same as guessing where a flower petal would land after the wind blows it away from its main body or the seasonal changes in weather thanks to their problem in global warming. Talking about the environment wasn’t her concern though. It was the current objective and task her uncle had in mind for her. She could already see why her uncle detested walking out in day time. Chatters flooded through her ears as the crowd stop to stare at her uncle before whispering to one another in quiet whispers. Ame could guess what they were talking about. They began in their game of mistaking her uncle for his identical twin. Her ‘father’. She gave out a sigh of exasperation knowing she too was going to get the full blunt of this later. And at this heat?
She felt the searing stink of sunlight penetrate through her weakened skin. This proved to be troublesome by the minute... “Excuse me can I?—“A random pedestrian made a pause to ask for ‘Amakusa’s’ autograph unknowing that it was actually her uncle. She gave a look of disinterest towards the woman who began to pester her uncle. The mission, she listened for the short details her uncle gave her.
Find a dress, that didn’t sound too bad. She already needed a few new ones anyway. It was the question of... Scanning the area the girl tried to spot a nearest shop. How she wished the crowd didn’t exist... a sea of people was something she loathed to handle. She was surprised her uncle still managed to deal with it. Wiping a bead of sweat caused by the tormenting sun she gave an affirmative nod to say she understood she current assignment. Soon as she did that the man began on the move Ame stood close to follow behind eventually catching up to him as she walked by his side.
