"I believe you are a good man, believing you seems not to a problem"
Her hand reached out for the phone back and took it back to her side. A smile remained decorating her sweet and calm face as she listened quietly to his words. They were soothing, and very kind; strange how they felt so nostalgically hurt for her. A kind soul like him should not be so happy about hanging out with her, a dark creature. A hum filled the silence in her mind. Maybe she should stop dragging herself further into the darkness.
Maybe she needed to try and escape the despair.
Yeah, maybe he could help her find a crack or two of light within the dark void.
She looked at the number, hit the green button on the screen and muttered, "All right, calling..." She waited for few seconds and after the second beep was heard, she ended the call. "There, you should have my number too now, Shiki," she said, chuckling. This conversation slowly turned Hae-Sun back to when she was a small girl, a friendly and sweet little Hae-Sun. Oh, she was the sweetheart, seriously. Her presence was like a radiating sun that basks everyone with warmth and joy with her happy-go-lucky and charismatic attitudes. She would poke her dimples with two fingers and pushed her cheek up to others how a smile should be. She was definitely a cutie, but it was a decade and few years ago.
The jet black haired girl looked at her watch and looked up at him. Him smiling shyly, him blushing and him getting excited over something as small as this were amazing to see. She could not help but to chuckle for the unknown time, feeling better and better slowly. "No, Shiki. I believe you are a good man, believing you seems not to a problem as it comes naturally as we speak," Hae-Sun spoke as she shook her head. It was true, trusting people was the hardest thing to do especially since she was not sure who's the real friend and who's the real enemy. Everything seemed so blurry and vague in front of her that she came to conclude the only person she should ever trust is herself.
Silver eyes gazed back for the blonde's face. "Oh, this evening. Well..." she hummed and let the sentence hung in the air as she has her eyes rolled around remembering her mother's plan. She fidgeted as she recalled her plan with her. "I still need to meet up with my mother, and do some shopping... but..." she looked back at him and nodded with a bright smile.
"Sure, evening sounds good!"
She should be able to stop by and change her clothes because, God, she can't stand how hot it will be today. Since it's date, she should dress herself properly right? Her eyes glanced away. She murmured "I'm counting on you then" in her mother tongue quietly. She was a bit scared of this, feeling as if her sturdy wall will collapse once more. However, she should learn to trust Shiki and his words of not wanting to hurt her.
She should try.
