There was a scent in the air laced in with the noxious fumes of the passing death traps called cars. Their loud horns burned ceaselessly through her sensitive ear drums. One more... Rayne swore she would be death from all the unnecessary ruckus echoing in the morning sun. So early as well, looking up pale eyes blinked as they watered from the rays of the sun making full contact. Tear buds built upon those almond shaped green orbs.
Green...well did she mention she rarely goes out as a blond headed mistress of chaos? She probably forgot to place that on the description somewhere... wherever it might be or when her mind deems it appropriate to recall. A sigh slipped from her lips just for the sound to drown in the mass of chaotic sounds from the passing crowds. The streets were alive that day, not surprising seeing it was a Monday most people would be heading for work or whatever was in their schedule, like unfortunately her...she hid down a tick developing on her temple from recalling it.
She wasn’t supposed to be wondering around, her other identities needed to be settled but the child found her motivation for the day to be...sorely lacking. She was, in plain terms in need of a small break before she finds herself losing what small sanity she possessed. As she walked, her light azure colored hair tied in a low pigtail style followed after her a kin to a tail trailing after its. Seriously, her eyes surveyed the grounds, eyeing the stores as she expertly maneuvered through the sea of rush hour pedestrians
“Excuse me,”
“Watch it.”
Came the uncaring voices from those that collided against the child’s short form. Lips curled in a state of distaste for the rudeness tossed at her but Rayne still remembered, this was urban life, it was bound to happen not that she even liked it. “Where to go..?” She found herself picking through the long stream of passerbys walking from back through the crowded crescent streets. Their voices mixed along with the others creating a shrilling background she gritted her teeth to take. Them and their endless chatting as much as she wanted to understand human society she still carried a disinterest mind towards their ways. It wasn’t worth it...carefully lodged deep in her mind the logic has long depicted her actions when it comes to socializing. She saw a corner a few meters away, rounding it, she found herself in a long narrow alley way. This wasn’t a place a cute, dressed female themed to look like a Lolita card dealer. As cute as the outfit she went for, this didn’t match it... the dangers about to run through this place. The traffic became distant through the background as she muted the rest of the world. Sun beaded heavily on the vast surrounding lands, warning the earth to a clear point that if someone dropped an egg it would turn into fried egg once it lands on the gravel. “I’m bored...” She mumbled unheard by the rest... “Such a boring day this turned out to be,” Sighed the child as she turned to her back, stepping at nearest random path she could go, her mind reeled elsewhere until...
She felt her body collide with something... or someone for that matter, blinking she quickly raised her head switching to the act of a lost child. “Sorry...! I-I wasn’t looking...”
