Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.
Thirty three jars of pickled onions later, Lyas was beginning to wonder just who exactly could have a use for an entire shelf worth of pickled vegetables. It had been ten minutes here and there, stacking jars of marinated capsicum, cucumbers, artichoke, and mushrooms. He was getting quite sick of the repetitive process, plus standing on a ladder for forty minutes wasn't something he just liked to do to pass the time. Feeling as though his fingers were about to rip from the seams of his palms, Lyas stepped down from the ladder and picked up the empty boxes on the ground.
Walking to the back of the store to crush the cardboard under his feet and throw it away, Lyas smiled pleasantly to some of the customers he passed and attempted to cover up his apron as best as he could. Making sure to cover up his name tag so no one would ask for his help, he walked brusquely past the freezers and out toward the storage room, down the short corridor toward the loading dock and slam dunked the boxed into he dumpster.
"Ugh, it smells so bad out here..." he groaned, covering his nose and peering over the edge of the dumpster to see if something had fallen in and died, after a brief inspection, all he could see was the rotten remains from the smashed jars of picked vegetables he had spent the last hour replacing "What the hell? What a god damn waste!" he cried out, slamming his hand down against the rim of the dumpster and then instantly regretting it as his hand came away slimy and covered in a mysterious brown sludge "Augh! This place is disgusting!"
Slamming the lid of the dumpster closed, Lyas ran inside to quickly wash his hands in the bathroom, scrubbing his hands with the disinfectant hand wash like he was carrying a plague inside with him. Then, as though the problem were a moot point, he wiped his hands down his apron to dry them and walked back out into the store to find someone to complain too. Not being one to just let an injustice stand without having a good whine to some poor recipient, Lyas walked up to the service counter microphone and called for someone to help him with a customer relations issue - an obvious guise for those who knew him well enough - and waited for a response.
He was a fine healthy young boy. It was pretty bad when he has to keep himself locked inside his room for the rest of the day and was only allowed to wonder outside his cage when Hae-Sun said so. It did not bother him. In fact, he enjoyed spending his time in his room since that was the safest place on Earth, but for half of a day everyday doing nothing? Dante cussed and said his brain may have rotten somewhere. Leon never liked to request things from people. He was taught since he was young to simply shut up and obey whatever people said. A pathetic way to raise a boy, but his father would cane him- or worse, emotionally disregard his existence in the house- if he did not listen to his order.
What happened to his father, though?
Leon looked up in surprise. "Eh?" He made a sound and blinked his eyes few times in disbelief. Did he hear her correct? Emerald eyes watched the female's expression, thinking she was simply joking about this. Few days ago, Dante told Hae-Sun he wanted to do something- something that could break some sweats and make his brain muscles pump some air and blood into the cells. As expected, the Vulpes denied the idea even before he was able to lay out good reasons. The two argued, but none of them was injured thankfully. So, Dante grabbed a phone, called Hae-Sun's room and asked Min-Yung instead, which was something the female did not anticipate. Min-Yung gave her opinions regarding this matter and took side with Dante. With that, Hae-Sun realized she has lost in this fight and so she agreed to assign Dantalion to take a job or two.
"Head to Gibbous Moon tomorrow. There's a store in the district, if I remember correctly, that needs help due to not having enough staff working this week."
Today was the day and, boy, he was so excited! He wore simple but appropriate attire for the day and prayed in his heart it will be a great day full of experience and fun. He skid to his bedside and grabbed a sling bag contained fundamental things like his wallet, a pen, a notebook and his cellphone. Oh, he got a new phone from Hae-Sun- one with front and back cameras so he could take pictures. Leon was a shy boy, so this function did not do much for him. As for Dante, he would like to use it to snap some amazing shots as memories and as proof to show to Hae-Sun.
Gibbous Moon was, unlike Crescent Moon district, very warm and peaceful. He was fixing his sleeve when his eyes caught a figure of a boy with white hair. His eyes fixed on the boy as he threw garbage into the dustbin. His eyes then moved up to see if this was the shop Hae-Sun was talking about. Curious if his guess was right, the sixteen years old boy quickly ran for the entrance and entered in. He looked around and stood on his toes for quite some times to see if he could see the boy and ask about it. His red ears perked up as he heard an announcement. A smile appeared on his face, wide and bright, and he rushed for the counter. Excited Leon was excited, and so he could help himself but almost slipped and fell his chin right for the counter if it was not for his two hands that managed to prevent from such crash.
"So-sorry!" He said, laughing. He stood straight and brought one hand to his chest. "Can I be any form of help?!" he volunteered, hoping the boy will gladly accept it.

Hearing loud, rushed footsteps getting closer and closer to the counter, Milo felt a sense of relief, knowing that he would soon have someone to complain to. The snow-haired male ducked under the counter and pulled up a spray bottle and cloth, so he would look busy while having his whine-fest and keep out of trouble.
In the seconds it took for him to grab what he needed from under the counter though, he heard the distinct sound of someone scrambling up against the counter. Lyas wondered if the person had been injured, would he need to get the first-aid kit? Would he be spending the rest of his work shift cleaning up some other person's blood and skin? If anything, it would certainly be more interesting that what he had been up to so far.
Lifting himself from the spot he had crouched behind the counter, Lyas was greeted with a face he had certainly not seen before. Was a customer offering to help him? That would be odd. Placing the spray bottle and rag on the counter to take the stranger's chin in his hand, then turn his face this way and that, Lyas released him without any clue who the other kid was.
"Can I be any form of help?!"
Oh yes! That was right! Lyas was ready to barrel into a full blown rant about what he had experienced before he second-guessed the area they were in and the people that might over hear them.
"Hey kid," he started, before quickly pacing around the edge of the counter and grabbing the other boy's arm "Who the heck are you? I don't think I've seen you around here before. Are you tryin' ta make trouble? 'cause if ya are, I'm gonna need you to wait an hour until my shift's over. I can't have that kinda trouble man, I'm still on probation here."
Releasing the other boys arm with a soft jolt, Lyas lifted his hands to his hims and attempted to lean forward into the other boy's space and narrow his eyes at him daringly. This wasn't the most glorious job he could imagine, but he'd managed to get it nonetheless and he wasn't about to lose it because of some nosy brat. "C'mon, spit it out!"
