Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.
""Those that want to live free cannot be bound by the rules of the world...they must live by their own."
The brisk nighttime air of Selene Island began to break through his hair as the young male's pepper streaked air as he jumped from a high level roof to a low level on adjacent to it. The sounds of his feet touching onto the rocky roof followed by a quick rolled created a single moment of friction between him and the tame earth as he pushed himself upwards and continued to run through the night.
The night would slowly pass as Razimel stopped near the shortest rooftop where he had parked his bike knowing well that he had not only jumped in a complete line, but had did this for at least thirty or so minutes before coming down to complete the last stretch of his nighttime activities which would be a run through the city or maybe a long ride through the city? The feeling of running made him more alive in a sense so he would instead take the run as intended," Lets get this bad boy home first," turning on the ignition of his bike he would begin to rev it up and throw on his sunglasses before taking off to his home.
At last he would be at home and parking his bike as he stopped to fix his clothing and his dog tags which were always present on him," Alright!! Let's get this party started!!!," slamming his fist into his open palm he would take off into the night running along the long sidewalks of Selene. Every night he would take the same route from his house to the boardwalks near the pier of Selene Island and then to his office and back to his house. Tonight however he would mix it with a bit of a run through the park where he would pause and sit by the lake for a bit to enjoy the moon and its light upon the water. The run through the city would have been along the usual events, a couple of stares followed by a few smiles from some of the night women because he never wore a shirt while running and only rarely wore his jacket outside.
The sweat that drenched his body would fall onto his pants as he reared the corner into the park, turning into it and picking up the last of his speed before reaching the bench near the small pond and sitting down. The reflection of the moon on the pond made this run worth it, the feeling of the wind hitting his body and the moon shining down on him had a hold on him that he could never place. For the moment he would sit in silence and marvel at the moon.
@shado1 || OOC: after many distractions and speaking with you i am done...do not hurt me
ALISTAR HAD BEEN SITTING BEHIND THE counter of Ratih Weapons almost all evening; her feet were aching from the constant force of gravity on mass, holding her to the ground. Her abnormally colored green locks fell over her face, hiding the scowl that was plastered on her ivory skin. No one, not a single customer all evening. And now she had to close up the shop for the night. Her fingers traced across the edges of the counter as she made her way back to the register from locking the front door, their bitterly cold touch soothed her mind. Alistar quickly pulled open the money drawer of the register, flipping it over into the designated zipper bag. After removing its contents, the teen thrusted it back into place with a forceful shove. Tossing the bag under the counter, Alistar tracked into the back of the store, walking through the inventory room, and threw her back against the only open exit, grabbing her keys from the nearby desk in the process. She swiftly locked the last door, and connected the key ring to the loop of her jeans before turning and looking up at the night sky. Should she return home and risk waking Marcus up, or should she stay out all night and wander around?
Throwing up her hood, the greenette began to walk at a slow pace through the alleys and streets of Selene Isle. Her brown eyes were glazed over, her body moving almost completely on its own. And then, she burst out into a run. Alistar could feel her feet press uncomfortable inside her shoes, the soles beginning to rub uncomfortably under each step. With each breath Alistar could feel her heart speed up, and as she exhaled it would decelerate. As a grin spread across her face, the greenette felt her thoughts dampen and her mind be at ease. It was a feeling that the girl had been waiting for since she began work that afternoon. As she pushed herself to her limits, Alistar could feel her nerves and lungs behind to burn. Pushing away the feelings, she continued on, her breath becoming rigid and uneven. Passing through each district, Ali’s steps finally began to faulter as she entered into the lunar district. The shop now far behind her, the teenage girl was far from her normal everyday stresses. After working at the weapons shop for a little over two years, Alistar started feeling that it was becoming her personal prison, and her only escape was through Wraith. She tightly gripped onto the dog tags around her neck, her fingers tracing their sharp, yet rounded edges. Under her grasp the greenette could feel the etched pattern in their thin metal. Slowly, Alistar placed her shaking hands on her knees, bending slightly to allow her lungs to catch up with the oxygen that her body craved. Slowly but surely the burning in her chest was soothed and she could once more begin her journey. Looking over to one side, Alistar could see the faint outline of the trees in the nearby park. Her mind pushed her towards the area, and her body followed its commands.
The large ears on the top of her head perked up under her hood, and the long, thin tail behind her swiftly swayed behind her. She could feel her body tense and being drawn, almost as if she was hypnotized, through the trees and across the paved paths that intersected through the grass. An audibly ringing began and her heart skipped a beat, and then another. Her vision narrowed onto a dark figure sitting near a small pond, and instinctually Alistar pulled her hands into her hoodie pockets, her fingers grazing across the concealed pocket knife that she carried on a daily basis. As she approached, the greenette felt her body soften. She sneaked up behind the figure, a wild grin spreading across her face as she leaned over.
""Those that want to live free cannot be bound by the rules of the world...they must live by their own."
The silence while it had remained so was peaceful and almost nostalgic in a sense as his ears flickered to the left after being gently caressed by the wind's touch. The feeling of sitting outside without restraints and without anyone trying to tell him what to do made the world a better place in his own opinion. Detected far from the busy world and its many sounds, Razimel could actually have a bit of peace in his rushing life without the need to even have to lift a finger to finish something.
The clear amber eyes would close slowly as he allowed his body to become immersed in the silence of the park, the heaving of his chest rising and falling soon became the beat that he listened to as his heart slowly came to a point where it was silently beating within his chest.
Just as the peaceful night had reached its peak, the sounds of shuffling began to fill the air. Although he would not move from his position he was well on his guard as his left hand settled by his pocket as a just in case. The footsteps had slowly come to a halt as he half opened his right eye to the sight of green hair and brown eyes staring down into his," Huh...this is weird ," the thought would never escape his lips as he blinked and stared back into the girls eyes.
The dog tags around his neck would move slightly as he smiled before returning to his normal demeanor," We have someone sitting here and enjoying the results of their run...the question is why is a cute girl staring from behind me?," his right arm twitched not out of pain but out of something else...something that made him question why would the word act up at this time. Shaking the though he would continue to stare into the brown eyes of the girl waiting for the answer.
AS THE MALE FIGURE TURNED TO LOOK AT HER, Alistar’s eyes narrowed slightly and the grin on her face grew. The confusion in his eyes was quite fitting for his appearance. He, too, had an interesting and distinctive hair, its color a mixture of black and white strands, some of which feel gently over his face. However, he did appear slightly older, and obviously was quite a bit larger than herself. But, this didn’t matter. If it came down to a fight, Alistar was confident in her capabilities to withstand any throw sent her way. However, when this man spoke, Alisa felt her poised and coolheaded demeanor falter. A slight pink hue emerged on her pale cheeks, his question ringing through her head. Her? Cute? Oh boy was he in for a rude awakening. A smirk returned to her face.
“Ehh? Me?” she cooed, tilting her head slightly, blowing a thin stream of air into the ears that were perched on the top of his head. “I was just passing through, myself. And then I saw you just sitting here alone and thought ‘it’s such a shame for someone to be alone on such a beautiful night’,” with each word her face grew nearer. And now much closer to the male, the greenette’s eyes began to traverse their way across his features, taking his image to memory. Then, her eyes spotted a familiar sight. Small dog tags hung from his neck, very similar to her own. Alistar mentally labeled him as harmless, and pulled her hands from the pockets of her baggy hoodie, dropping their hold of the small knife inside. In a flash her arms wrapped around the male’s shoulder, gently fingering the small metals, holding them higher for closer inspection. They were definitely Wraith property. Being a new member of the Elites, Alistar didn’t think twice about not ever seeing him before.
“We’ve got a bad boy here don’t we?” the hushed words were followed with a quiet giggle and her grip on the dog tags loosened, letting them to fall to their previous location. “So to whom do I owe the pleasure of meeting?”she asked, her tail flicking back and forth behind her. It wasn’t every day that Alistar ran into a fellow Wraith with their tags exposed. As for herself, she always had them tucked deeply under multiple layers of clothing, as if they would be stolen from her.
She could feel her heart thumping rapidly against her chest once more and her ears twitched in anticipation. The only question was.. what was she waiting for? As the greenette contemplated the possibilities she could feel an unfamiliar burning sensation in her side. She quickly pulled herself away from the man, throwing one hand onto her waist, feeling the abrupt pain intensifying. Gritting her teeth through a cocky smile, Alistar looked back to the pepper haired male. Another sacrifice with a fighter nearby maybe?
""Those that want to live free cannot be bound by the rules of the world...they must live by their own."
He could feel it...Those brown eyes scanning over him and taking in his body like a wolf looking over its prey before it finally went in for the kill. This one look made him inwardly smile as he continued to look up to the girl behind him, his mind wondering just who she was and what she was going to do in the event that she tried to assault him...but the thought was tempting. As she looked him over he had definitely been looking her over and stopped once the bright pink blush covered her cheeks which only made the hardened demeanor look even cuter.
The thin stream of air that escaped from the woman's mouth caused Raz's ears to twitch rather weirdly as his body shuddered causing a brief moment where he had to cover his mouth so that he did not make an embarrassing sound. After the brief fit he would stare at the girl and chuckle," Yes you...you're the only woman near me now aren't you?," his mind going blank as the girl's face became closer and closer to his.
A momentary moment of weakness...was this the night he was going to lose his ears. The thought crossed his mind to this random woman becoming his first, but a growl in the back of his mind snapped him out of his trance as he exhaled and moved his right hand to slowly cup her chin before speaking," Well then why doesn't this cute lady join me for tonight?," the words coming out like a flowing river before falling silent.
The feeling of the woman's arms wrapping around his upper chest caused his heart to skip a beat before his body and arm began to heat up once she came this close to him. This sensation was something new...something unfamiliar yet familiar at the same time which caused his mind to go blank in the process. His arm stretched out to slowly snake up hers before pulling it closer out of instinct before moving it and standing up," Bad boy? i think you have the wrong guy, but if you want to know the name," stopping he would turn to fully face the girl as his dog tags clattered to the middle of his chest," The name is Razimel...Now what would your name be?," the feeling that she knew what the dog tags were became the first thought in his mind, but like all things it would come in time.
The atmosphere shifted once she had jumped back from him and simply glanced at him. It made him wonder what had happened before his eyes trailed over her again and noticed her holding her side. Was there an injury that she had gotten? Or was she hiding something that would potentially pique the man's interest? A smile would appear onto his face as he stepped towards her slowly," So...Something wrong with your side?," stopping just short of her, he would slowly sit his hands into his pockets anticipating a response from her
ALISTAR'S GRIP AROUND HER WAIST TIGHTENED, nails digging into the fabric desperately clawing down to the skin underneath. It resonated heat like a sunburn, but stung like a cut. She couldn’t focus on much other than attempting to combat the biting sensation that was enveloping around the hidden letters. Drawing in a deep, low breath, she tried to push the pain out of her mind. The pain weakened once more as the male spoke, and making a valid attempt to stay present in the conversation, Alistar tried her best to listen.
“H-ha no.. Well, yes, but it’s fine,” Ali laughed, smiling through dull aches and waving her free hand casually. “I probably just strained a muscle or something, no big deal.”
Now that the male was standing, the young girl felt so tiny. Trying to compare her average five foot seven and thin frame to Razimel’s was like trying to compare a kitten to a lion. And unfortunately Ali would be the pray if their interaction turned sour. But seeing as he was an elite in Wraith Alistar let her guard fall, ignoring any risk of potential danger. The idea of an elite attacking another elite outside of sparring was a foreign idea, though she wouldn’t object to a good punch here and there so long as she could strike back.
“And what kind of girl do you take me for? Have you never heard of stranger danger?”
A cool breeze shifted across the park, rustle the trees and collecting small water droplets from the pond and throwing the small orbs haphazardly. The greenettes hood fell down to around her neck, her ears twitching from being struck suddenly with the chill of surrounding air. Her eyes fell onto the male face once more, and were subconsciously guided down towards the large scar that was drug across his chest. She reached out with a trembling hand, tracing it slowly with her fingertip, closing the open space between them with her arm.
“I’m uhh, Alistar.. Where did you get something like this? Fighting?” she mumbled looking up quickly in an attempt to read any sort of emotion from his face. “I thought you said you weren’t a bad boy. But this seems to say otherwise,” her ears flattened on the top of her head, and her eyes narrowed. The pain in her side continued to wane, until slowly Alisa couldn’t feel it at all, but the nagging ringing sound returned.
“Do you hear that, or it is just me?” she hissed, clapping her hands over the green ears. It was annoying. Annoying, annoying, annoying.
""Those that want to live free cannot be bound by the rules of the world...they must live by their own."
From the look on her face she had been managing to take the pain without grunting which means that she maybe liked it? The excuse however about it being a strained or pulled muscle made him chuckle mentally, but as long as she wasn't concerned about it he wouldn't bring it up. Now that he was standing up he would finally see the height difference between the two and the woman's body (whom he could only imagine underneath all those clothing). The moon had slowly begun to withdraw behind the faint traces of the clouds above, Razimel wondered why the girl went to feel for his tags instead of simply asking about them which made him assume that she knew.
“And what kind of girl do you take me for? Have you never heard of stranger danger?”
Raz blinked slowly before taking in all of the words before laughing and shaking his head," Dear...this would be stranger danger if i had walked up to you, but you walked over to me and engaged in a conversation which lead to this. So i assume that you do want to join me or are we going to go around in loops?," a brief chuckle slowly escaped his lips as he slowly raised a brow.
The touch of her fingers gliding across the scar on his chest caused his body to heat up slightly, the feeling of this woman's body caused such a reaction that was new to him...what was this feeling that had came over him, his face becoming a tint of red before scratching at the small area around his cheek as he responded to her question," Its a pleasure to meet you Alistar..and yes this scar is from fighting. Let's just say i am someone that partakes in prize fighting," not wanting to openly admit that he was an underground fighter and a well known one at that, he kept his answer to a less than cryptic one.
" Well...i never said i wasn't a bad boy," he had lied...but it wasn't going to help him now," okay yeah maybe i am a bad boy because being a good one isn't going to get anything done now is it?," his hands moved out of his pockets to run along the same scar and stopping above Ali's. A sound....yes there was one although very faint it had continued to go on as the two were closer to each other, but the weird thing was...it had only started once the two of them had gotten closer. Slowly he would nod before looking around," It started just recently didn't Alistar? Then its the same sound i am hearing as well and i don't know what it is," although the sound didn't bug him it was getting to the point where he could no longer drown it out.
"DEAR... THIS WOULD BE STRANGER DANGERif I had walked up to you, but you walked over to me and engaged in a conversation which lead to this. So I assume that you do want to join me or are we going to go around in loops?,"
Alistar opened her mouth, as if to argue with him, but he had made a good point. Even if she had been concerned about her safety from “stranger danger” she wouldn’t have approached. In fact, Ali almost thrived on dangerous interactions that would make others run without thinking. She, however, found them to be quite enthralling and sometimes went out of her way to discover methods to risk her safety. The last time she had approached a stranger in the prime of night she found herself face to fist as soon as she spoke. Turns out most people don’t like being snuck up behind and harassed.
When Razimel eluded to competitive fighting, Alistar felt her heart flutter slightly. She hadn’t ever considered fighting to money… maybe she should quit at the weapons shop and make a career change? The faint blush on his face made Alistar inwardly chuckle, and the greenette watched the way the older man’s fingers traced across the scar tissue. From the corner of her eye Ali caught glimpse of a dark text that was scrawled across the man’s forearm. Drowning out the male’s voice, she blinked for a moment, then quickly latched onto Razimel’s wrist, pulling his arm further out to examine it closer.
The letters were all too familiar to the teen. Her heart sped up once more, her face flushed and her mind began to become jumbled with thoughts. “Is uh.. Is this a tattoo?” she asked, her voice cracking slightly. She looked up at him, impatiently awaiting his answer.
Vindictive. The letters spelled the name that she had grown so used to, as it too appeared on her own body. Except Alistar knew that the word plastered on her skin was a natural occurrence. She wasn’t quite sure if she wanted it to be a tattoo or not. Their interaction was completely a coincidence, right? Yeah, sure – sure it was. If Alistar hadn’t come to the park… if she hadn’t have closed the shop then this meeting wouldn’t have happened… right? She could feel the adrenaline pumping through her veins and with each second that passed she grew more and more antsy. Finally, she teen got to the point that she couldn’t take it.
Alistar released Razimel’s hand, grabbed the hem of her hoodie, and quickly pulled it over her head. Her long green hair draped disorderly along her shoulders. Her tank top was a loose fitted and dark navy in color, contrasting greatly against her pale skin. Bruises and cuts covered her, now, bare arms and her dog tags hung against her small chest. Not skipping a beat, Alisa gathered the excessive fabric and lifted it slightly to show the name that wrapped itself around from her back to the smallest part of her waist.
“Is this a coincidence or…” her voice trailed off at the end, her eyes staring intensely at man across from her.
""Those that want to live free cannot be bound by the rules of the world...they must live by their own."
Did she really just grab his wrist? The feeling of her hand wrapping against the small part of his body instantly put his body on alert as he slid his leg back but stopped before he would unleash a strong jab towards her stomach. It took the strongest amount of willpower to not all out punch her for doing such a thing. Slowly his body would relax as he observed the reason why did the action. His eyes narrowed once she continued to stare at the words, his mind instantly going on the defensive," What...how did she notice that out of anything? Who is....this woman," the word on his arm began to burn once again, but this time he could piece together why...but he would wait to be proven right.
The question stabbed into him like a knife as he closed his amber eyes and exhaled slightly before shaking his head," It isn't a tattoo and something tells me you know what this is and why i have it now don't you Alistar?," his eyes slowly made there way to hers as he stared into the brown hues waiting for an answer that might change his life....either for the better or the worse.
Once Alistar had released his arm he rolled his wrist before stopping mid way and staring at the woman...was she stripping in front of him!!! The light tan complexion of Raz would become redder as he stood there and watched while his mind went into overdrive, was he about to lose it tonight? His mind instantly stopped when he finally caught side of the metal...those same metallic symbols that hung from his neck showing they were of the same group, Wraith.
The dog tags leered in his mind as he continued to look over her body starting with the visible cuts and bruises until his eyes stopped and stared at something he never though possible. This woman....this woman from Wraith had been given the same name. His right arm would wrap around Alistar and rub the name...no rub the word placed onto her body bringing the two of them closer as he stopped functioning altogether, standing there in silence.
There were no words flowing from the words of the young elite.....There were no movements from him as well... All Alistar could see were the amber eyes of Raz staring where his fingers slowly left and his body shaking for a moment before standing still. She would be able to see through his eyes that he was searching for a viable answer until finally he had spoken," I don't....I don't know," was all he could muster as he slowly pulled his arm from around her waist and looked over her dog tags, taking them into hand softly and reading over them. It was...too much of a coincidence for them to not only be in the same group, but she was also his partner within the organization. To add it on the two had the same words on their body....what would come of this meeting as the two of them stood under the full shine of the moon.
@shado1 || OOC: The truth has finally revealed itself
ALISTAR LOWERED HER GAZE, attempting to avoid any eye contact with the male due to the… unusual circumstances and events. Her face heated up slightly, though her mind was fighting with itself – each side of her attempting to gain control. One part of her brain was embarrassed, no one had ever seen her in such a fragile state; the other was complaining about her lack of mental willpower, that it was no big deal. And yet, the teen felt so innocent and frightened. Alistar didn’t like it, she didn’t like it one bit. And yet, there she stood, her heart beating against her chest and her face growing more flushed by the second. She felt a warm, unfamiliar arm snake around her waist slowly. As the distance between her and Razimel closed, her arms and forehead fell against his chest.
The rhythm of the male’s heart provided her with a sense of security in the foreign moment. Under the touch of his fingers the pain that was once aching and dull subsided, replaced instead by a sensation that ushered the greenette’s mind into silence. The pair stood there for a while, both seemingly overwhelmed. As the arm was removed, Alistar dropped the hem of her shirt, the fabric falling quickly back into place. She watched as Razimel took the dog tags into his hand. Her brown eyes searched his, and a grin grew upon her face.
“You’re blushing,” she pointed out, poking the male’s cheeks as she spoke. All of this seemed strange but intriguing to the teen. She had always known that she would eventually find her fighter but she certainly hadn’t been actively searching. For the time being she was more concerned with Wraith and using her time there wisely. And yet, here she was, face to face with him, another Wraith Elite. It was like the stars above them had aligned at just the right time so their paths could cross.
Alistar was not one to believe in fate. She didn’t think everything was written in stone, and nor did she think it was all written in the stars, either. But could she really discount their meeting to coincidence? No, no it was definitely fate that their names were the same, there was no way in controlling that. She couldn’t have chosen her name or even her path if she had tried...
“So,” Alistar said, breaking the silence, “I have no intentions of going anywhere right now.. Walk with me?” the question was posed with the greenette’s tail swishing behind her, excitement glowing in her eyes. She wanted to know more about him. She wanted to know everything about him. Alistar wanted to know more about his personality, his past, what he loves to do. For once in her life she was concerned about another person the same she was with herself.. no more than herself. However, the fears of her own past resonated in her mind. The only relationship between a fighter and sacrifice that she knew intimately was one that was archaic and manipulative… Alistar felt her stomach lurch at the thought and her ears pressed down lightly on her head. She lightly wrapped her hand around Razimel’s arm, giving it a little tug.
“Come, come~!” she laughed, brushing a section of hair behind her ear.
""Those that want to live free cannot be bound by the rules of the world...they must live by their own."
The feeling of her head and arms resting against his chest made the single heart of Raz pump harder as his face if not for a moment grew another color altogether. This had been one of the first times that a woman that was not his mother was this close to him...and he had actually been enjoying it. His mind had went into overdrive as he tried to calm down his body so that she would not be able to feel himself getting a bit too excited due to this new experience. Raz would slowly step back as she lowered her shirt to cover the words he would remember them and etch them into his mind.
"S...shut up," the only words that would leave his mouth turned his face a deep crimson before going away and his amber eyes lingering to her finger in which he would chuckle and slowly move away before biting the finger slowly. A small burst of laughter would come after as he shook his head and smiled," Also noting that i have caught you blushing Alistar so don't you think we aren't even," the tail wrapped around his waist would slowly uncurl and swish twice before wrapping back around his waist.
The slow silence between the two would be broken as Ali had offered something that made even his ears twitch in a small fit of excitement. This could be a good time to get to know her and see what his partner liked or what she usually does in her spare time. A brimming smile would crawl across his face as he nodded and stepped towards Alistar," Sure i wouldn't mind taking a walk with you..besides it will allow us to get to know each other a bit no?," it would seem that fate and pushed them together without the two of them knowing, but what else would fate have in store for them.
Her hand would be the key to snapping him out of his trance as he wrapped the arm around hers and smiled," Alright already lets do this before you tear my arm off," laughing he would begin to slowly walk with her through the midnight park. The amber eyes would find there way to Alistar again before asking a simple question," So where would we begin with lovely walk," waiting for her answer he would return his eyes to the sky.
THE GREENETTE PULLED THE OVER-SIZED HOODIE back over her head, breaking the contact of the chilling wind against the bare skin. Its heavy fabric fell over her small frame and the edge rested casually against her hips, just barely covering the end of her shirt. Alistar quickly withdrew the knife from inside and replaced it to the waistband of her jeans, clipping it into place before she felt Razimel’s arm wrap around her own.
She then gave a large, genuine smile as Razimel accepted herinvitation. She felt her soul urging her learn everything about him; from his past to his dreams and everything in between. The tail behind her flicked back and forth with excitement as the two walked. Her thoughts raced with questions to ask him. Like how he came to Selene Isle, what caused him to join Wraith, how his family life was… Each question led Ali to become more and more curious. It wasn’t every day that the teen found someone to talk to on a more personal level then their fears of death or small talk about their day when at the shop. While executions were at times intimate in discussion, Alistar rarely felt a significant amount of empathy. Looking for other’s approval wasn’t a common quest for the greenette.
“So where would we begin with lovely walk?”
His words broke through her stream of consciousness -- a tingling sensation running across her head at the time, traveling down her body and out of her fingers. Every time he spoke it felt like lightning was surging through her body; causing her heart to jump and her ears to perk up. The strange sensation was confusing and comforting at the same time. Looking up towards the pepper haired male, she allotted a moment to think before replying.
“The beach,” the greenette nodded her head as she said it, as if to confirm with herself of where she wanted to go. “The beach is nice at night.”
Truth be told, Alistar hadn’t actually visited the edges of Selene Isle since she first stepped onto the small island. She didn’t allow herself much free time, preferring instead to keep herself busy with Wraith work and work work. And at that she didn’t really have time to make friends and visit these places because she never knew if she could trust them to stick by for long. But since Razi and her were well… pretty much destined to meet and be a pair, then she figured it would be the perfect spot to go. It would be barren and the waves crashing against rocks would almost put Alistar to a calm sleep.
Now that the two had a destination, where would one start a conversation? What should be asked first and what were questions not to ask until later? The lack of social interactions and censorship made this kind of thing difficult for Ali, so complete and utter focus was necessary. Her grip on Razimel’s arm tightened, pulling it closer to her chest as if to keep him from flying away in the wind as she thought.
Asking about family: OK. Asking about occupation: OK. Asking about the number of killed targets and what their last words were: Probably not.
Alistar decided instead to go with one of the safest conversation starters that she could think of.
""Those that want to live free cannot be bound by the rules of the world...they must live by their own."
Raz for a moment would remain silent as he waited for a response from the young woman on where she wanted to start and in all honesty his heart had no idea what to do between pumping and trying to remain calm. He an actual woman and a cute one to boot on his arm and was walking around the park with her in the moonlit night like it was natural. It wasn't everyday that he even got an opportunity to speak to a woman aside from work, but that was only business and only got him maybe a smile or two before they disappeared for good. As the two continued to walk and she had brought up the beach he would smile and look over to her," The beach huh? Well how about we take a small ride there. I have my bike not to far from here and we can take a quick ride through the city until we get to the beach," if she would agree to that he would escort the young lady through the area that he had came through slowly, while enjoying her company and air about her.
Slowly his mind wandered to what he would ask her about herself, but he came to the conclusion that he would wait for a conversation to start and go with it which would allow him to form some sort of question or two to ask her while they rode to the beach.
The question of what his favorite memory was caused him to chuckle and scratch his ear with his free hand as he answered," My favorite memory would be my first fight in the underground arena...it was my first 1 v 3 and the first time i had knocked out someone with one punch. The feeling of the fight caused me to feel so great that afterwards i went on a run throughout the city. Although its one of many memories that i enjoy, How about you?," he looked over to her as he lead her through the exit of the park.
Normally he would have walked with her all the way back to his house, but the good thing was that a friend of his always had his bike in the bar across the street and could use it whenever he wanted. Handing the helmet to Ali he would smile," Make sure you hang on tight okay? This ride is gonna be wild," If she hopped on he would turn on the bike and rev up the engine before taking off into the night to the beach. The wind through his hair felt amazing as he turned on a nearby street and continued to speed up until in a short time the two of them arrived to the beach.
With a twist of the key the motorcycle would shut off and he would wait for Ali to hop off before getting off himself," So what now princess," looking over to his partner he would smile and await her response.
