Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.

Bugs and trees and little creepy crawly things oh the joys of nature, honestly who wanted to be outside being eaten alive by other creatures? yes there was a food chain and it had to be followed else the world would break into chaos but still why did she, right now have to sit outside and watch herself become a snack for some creepy diseased bug? Oh that was right because someone was supposed to meet her here and like always they had failed to show up, honestly why her father just didn’t text her details he wanted her to know the girl would never understand. They both knew it wasn’t going to show up at any meeting he had arranged and her mother was so out of the picture in her own little world that asking her was well… well talking about one’s mother was just a pointless endeavor after all. She had better things to do then list the countless ways her mother had failed her in the short lifetime she had spent and Zakuro wasn’t about to sit in a park being eaten to death while her brain began to recap all the important parts of her life in which her mother was something she could have used.
Despite the fact that her mind had been made up Zakuro’s feet refused to help stand her body up and move them from the park bench. Now her stupid brain had done it there was one little rule she had tried to force herself to follow, no talking about mother. There were days when Zakuro wondered if perhaps she was adopted ( though if the truth about her would ever come to light perhaps she would of thought differently about the theory) being a spoiled rich kid wasn’t all that everyone thought it was cracked up to be. In truth being poor but being loved sounded far better to her then having her parents off making millions while she sat at home so lonely her heart hurt to beat. Slumping down further into the bench Zakuro wondered if her mother would have still felt the same way about her if they had been poor and struggling to make it. would she have kept her? Would she have even wanted her still ? maybe her mother just wasn’t cut out to be well a mother.

Out in the sun once more, what on earth was she thinking... the question raised a few nods from the internal array of miniature hers that governed her logical thinking, searing bright on her skin Ame pulled back the long sleeve of her dress to hide the skin being tormented by the heated touch of the sun’s rays. Crickets buzzed on the grass that voice out a warning for the petite child to watch her footing on the grassy plains that served as her short cut back to civilization after spending her time in her isolated sanctuary by the lake.
No one goes there... it was the perfect place for an asocial little girl to spend the rest of her mornings in. When...the need to out for air comes calling, in the household she lives in that barely comes to mind but today... Leon actually dragged her out, a soft sigh slid on her face as she fixed the cute frilled bonnet tucked on her head, bright rays made her eyes water as she struggled to see the front of her. Temporarily blinding the girl as she blinked away the gathering tears, to this is why her guardian suggested she bring sunglasses... knowing her loathing for the bright ball of flames overhead, her skin was already tingling from the sensitive burn it would soon suffer if she didn’t get any shade. Luckily,
Through her restricted eyesight she managed to spot a bench right by the side of the pathway sitting directly under the shade of the surrounding trees. It had to work, for now... she quickened her steps, making sure she wouldn’t bump into another soul as the child was in no mood for anything that could mean her staying in clear view of her nemesis for much longer. Luckily, the part was just as desolate that day as a ghost town. She crossed the remaining gap between her and the comfort she seek she barely even noticed the girl who occupied the seat... for now Ame focused on getting some shade. She flopped down in relief on the bench, right beside the girl as her white hair now bounded in two cute pigtails bounced lightly behind her... Success. She sighed in relief, before finally noticing the second body beside her... blinking slightly, she took a chance to peek through the corner of her eyes...
She...did not look happy, but then again, the child didn’t feel the need to care until her sharp eye caught something...rather off. She saw her face, on that girl’s face. Now, she took the chance to fully turn her head. Lavender tinted orbs showed a curiosity a slight feeling confusion.

The sounds of rustling clothing sounded off behind her as she sat, with the speed to which the fabric swished against itself she was sure her father had decided to show up. Better late than never but still the girl was not in any mood to forgive him just yet, she was glad he was in a hurry because he had caused her such turmoil in her wait for him. Giving her face a good smack to work herself up out of the depressed mood to which she had slowly been placing herself in Zakuro waited for him to round the bench and do his half assed apologies to her. The way his stupid face would look worried and slightly happy at the same time as if wondering if this had changed anything between them or not. However Zakuro found the other side of the bench being occupied by another body, it was small almost the same size as hers which triggered her brain to flair in annoyance as this clearly was not her father or well anyone she wanted to be around. She could have gone on in ignorance has the body beside her not caused the creepy feeling of being stared at to send a wave of goose bumps up her arms and back.
Getting fed up with being glanced at she turned to go off on the individual who had chosen to sit next to her and piss her off. Sure it wasn’t their fault that her father had bailed on her and caused her mood to swing into the low about to eat everyone position but since they were here and all. However as her eyes caught sight of the person beside her, Zakuro found herself in a bit of a shocked state. Clearly this was a joke and someone had put up a mirror to confuse her, the closer she looked however the more she found herself staring at someone who besides the eye color happened to be well her. “ if this is supposed to be one of those find your look alike contests and you think this is funny I suggest you cut it out before I hurt you “

A practical joke sounded far more pleasing than seeing something that shouldn’t be possible. It’s illogical for her to think so. Thinking clearly there was only one girl that Ame could attest would be able to pull this off but her dearest twin rest six feet underground on the nearby churchyard. This shouldn’t be possible...
Her eyes remained glued on the female, blank of any emotions on the background her brain scurried to find a logical explanation. For this... situation she landed herself in. Her mirror image began to spoke. Her brain felt too numb to process everything she said. But what she gathered she was in the same state of confusion as she was. She looked up in the heavens, an sarcastic way to see if the heavens hasn’t exploded yet before bringing her gaze back to the upset look alike of hers.
“...I was about to ask the same question.” She spoke, those lips moved to form the sentences under some form of miracle she decided to speak other than simply type on her phone and let the girl read. She has eyes. And from the looks a decent literacy level that could comprehend the heavy words she used to accent her speech. Ame didn’t care though, she was more interested in knowing just how the fuck is this possible. She reached up to the girl to touch the child’s hand. Her soft hand placed upon the girl’s dainty hand. She felt skin...so this was not a mirror. Satisfied Ame pulled her hand back to show that she wasn’t an illusion either.
“I don’t think I was preparing to full anyone on a dreadful day like this,” She said, glancing back to the tall trees surrounding their area she felt some of the forming headache melt away from being in the shade. “And why would I play a joke on someone I don’t know, it simply doesn’t make sense.” Ame continued bluntly she may add but the girl needed to know, that she was just as confused as she was if she was even grudgingly speaking.

Either they had told her not to say anything when questioned about her appearance or by some far off chance this was not some stupid contest and sitting before her was in the flesh someone who looked exactly like her. Still full of anger and doubt Zakuro couldn’t help but find herself growing more and more annoyed with the fact that the girl refused to say anything and remained ever silent. Surely she had a mind of her own and could come up with something right? For a brief but scary moment her mind had set itself on believing that her father was going to come around the corner any minute and tell her surprise and introduce her to one of his experiments. She could see something along the lines of a test tube baby made from her mother and fathers dna as a way to test something about genetics or some crap like that. Clearly it was the most logical way to explain things that or well her father had cheated on her mother, from the looks of it roughly around the time she was being conceived. However that notation wasn’t as plausible being as her grandfather had kept her father so busy with work in order to break him, ah yes her grandfather was a good man indeed always making her father stick to his guns instead of letting him run away from his problems. If only she had been alive in those times to watcher father work his ass off.
About to ask the same question? The words had thrown Zakuro off a bit seeing as she really hadn’t asked the girl a question, it was more of a statement of his detest for being surprised. The girl before her looked rather nervous and for a split second Zakuro couldn’t help but ask herself if that was what she looked like whenever she got nervous herself. Throwing the idea out the window raised a brow as the girl retched over to place her hand on top of her own, they both felt alive causing the notion that this mirrored image trick was out the window now. It was almost creepy the way she talked about having a bad day as well, honestly this whole situation was giving her the creeps and now that this one was having a bad day to. Well that just set a whole new meaning to the words shell shocked.
“ why? Because people are cruel creatures who spend their lives not caring about anyone else but themselves, they do not care if they hurt another and only live for making sure at the end of the day they are satisfied with what they have done. Besides you could never know anyone unless you talked to a stranger that’s how people meet and in some cases playing a trick on someone gets their attention. “

@rora well lol...seems like they're gonna get along?
[attr="class","l"]I've never seen such beauty in possibility
This isn’t funny anymore, fate she knew had vicious tricks but this one takes the cake. It now went second to the day she lost her twin and now... she was being tossed in a sense filled with déjà vu that shouldn’t in all terms of logic be possible. Here was a face that looked like she was seeing a mirror in front of her. It shouldn’t happen...Ame tried to convince her mind that this was nothing but an optical illusion created as a mirage by the burning sun. Try as the child might her mind had a better grasp of reality than she care to admit. The skin was real... it was as warn as hers. There was in no way this was fake.
And apparently her double shares the same unhappy thoughts as she does. “Mortals as mortals you cant really change their basic programming.” She shrugged. “To do so would be dismantling and rebuilding their psyche but then again...the human mind can be a confusing little child to mess with.” She uttered a soft sigh to the wind. A gust blew behind their backs, swaying their long silver strands into the warm laced air of mid afternoon. Annoyed as she was being set out in this... heat wave the child’s curiosity apparently rose from its slumber and all because of this interesting copy of hers beside her.
She must be thinking somewhere along the lines of disbelief she deduced silently, hiding her own findings from the female’s inquisitive gaze while keeping the blank mask over to mask any surprise still embedded into her frame. This is not an easy thing to accept... what if... she was cloned? The fleeting thought came to mind until she shook it off as a figment of human imagination. There was no way for that to happen...not in this modern day science. Lifting an arm to her face she brushed away a few stray stands. She mulled over her ‘twins’ words over her insight about people... my...such an interesting person. “It’s all in human nature...you can really remove what nature program into them, hate, jealousy it’s all there... no matter how they try to hide it. It’s an inborn sin... though it’s interesting....to see weaker willed individuals try and try to reach a dream unattainable and those weak enough to defend against the whispers of powers once temptation gets a grip at them. In the end... human society simply runs behind a façade and hands struggle to pry power from others grip...” She glanced back at the girl. “Tricks always garner attention at the same time it’s used as a distractions of sorts.” She tilted her head innocently to the side.

Well with one thing in mind she found that her counterpart was well, just a tad bit crazy. Here she was talking about the minds of humans and how mortals were mortals when the person sitting next to her happened to be one of those mortal humans she was going on about. By far the back of her mind still blamed her father for this whole incident, mostly because it was something typical he would do in a means to tempt her into a bit of his research. Her father was a lone creature by all rights or so Zakuro had come to believe, all of his other attempts had failed so far and now if this was one of those hope for the best shots. Well Zakuro was having none of it at all, this was one thing that would cause her to walk away from him for a good while if it had been his design. She hated his little tricks and tests to see if she was willing to become something like him, which Zakuro had told him time and time again that she was never going to turn out like him no matter how much he tried.
Her counterpart however seemed to be so cool with the whole idea that there was in fact a second being to which looked exactly like her was sitting next to her. She seemed so calm in her ability to just reply back to everything Zakuro had to say with such unmasked ability of utter peace. It was a farce and Zakuro was finally on to her, the poor thing was pretty much freaking out under a vail of serenity to which she was allowing the other girl to see. She was growing rather impatient with the girl who seemed to skip around the subject to which clearly was the elephant in the room. “well since you seem to be keen on avoiding the subject how about I get us started on this little trip. My name is Zakuro Tamayori, and you would be? Well not that I can exactly what your names is the point of this topic my dear is that you and I look exactly alike save for the eye color and as far as I know my mother didn’t give birth to any more children so I know you aren’t my sister or anything”
Perhaps something in their genetics must have switched and they unfortunately found themselves looking like each other? No this had her father written all over it but unless she had the proof there was no way to tell for sure if by any chance they were actually well no Zakuro didn’t want to think about it at all.
