Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.
Remind her again, how did this whole thing start? She was pretty sure she did not say she agreed to help him. All she ever said was 'I see what I can do for you' and it was referring to advertising the flyer of his dear pet, Lucius. How did he mistake it as an agreement to assist him in searching and rescuing the cute brown creature? She took out the Polaroid picture of the man's best companion and showed to one of the pedestrian. This was her ninth time and on the ninth time too she received a disappointing shake of the head, signalling they has never seen it before. The woman smiled calmly and nodded. They exchanged sorry with an additional of best of luck wish from the teenager couple. Luck- wonder if it could help her out. She took few steps back and started dashing few blocks away. Her eyes peek from one corner to another in hope that by any chances- or luck- she could encounter the little one. How did he lose him? He was not sure about it.
He said when he came back from work, the fence has already opened as if someone or something had broken out. She raised an eyebrow in bizarre of how this story turned out to be. The rich businessman said that Lucius was an adorable and a charming companion he would never try to escape from the yard. He was a good, good, GOOD boy. It made the woman secretly rolled her eyes when she heard him emphasizing the word. If Lucius was such a good boy, how did he escape? She nibbled on a corner of the picture with one hand on her hip. Her eyes lingered around. So where could this little beast be?
smoke curled around his figure, floating higher and higher with each puff of the cigarette. the fair haired fighter lacked the capacity to care about the detrimental side effects of his preferred drug, and in his mind, the addictive quality of the nicotine lacked substance, having morphed into his crutch. chuckles bubbled to the surface as his lips pressed against the cigarette once again. his worries vanished with each intake of the cancer stick. pale lips curved into a bemused smile as he tipped his head back, allowing silver colored locks to collide with the rough surface of the brick wall. his frame pressed against the unmoving wall, and the shadows of the alley kept him hidden from the people that traversed the streets. their hurried paces reminded him of busy bees, who never stopped to appreciate the beauty of the day. he, however, found ample amusement in taking life at a leisurely pace, which translated into his refusal to deal with the imbeciles known as his company’s primary stock holders.
for the umpteenth time, he ditched their requested board meeting, slipping the documents to his twin and then disappearing from the office. the old coots preferred dealing with ryker though they never seemed to realize the trick behind the strange shifts in the ceo’s personality. reijne believed that they talked themselves into not noticing the obvious differences between the twins, but in the end, their refusal to acknowledge the contradictions suited the enchanted fighter’s theatrics. the cigarette slipped from his fingers, dropping to crash against the concrete ground and then continuing to burn pitifully due to the embers clinging to the end of the object. with a shrug of his shoulders, he lifted a combat boot clad foot to press against the cancer stick, pressing down and twisting until the embers disappeared—extinguished by his merciless action.
movement caught his attention, and as he lifted his head, sapphire hued eyes caught sight of a familiar figure. his expression morphed from abject apathy to bemusement. questions circulated his mind as he shoved his hands into his pockets and pivoted to face the alley’s entrance. with several lengthy stides, he exited the dark path and caught sight of hae-sun speaking with civilians, holding up an object and apparently receiving a negative response to her inquiry. reijne continued to follow her from a distance, destroying the space once the female ceased moving, and when he reached her side, he reached out and plucked the fragile item from her grasp, studying the picture intently and then raising one eyebrow. with a flick of his wrist, he offered the picture to the regalia. running an errand, doll? he purred while cocking his head to the side and offering her a slight upturn of his lips.

The sun cast long shadows across the sprawling lawns of the park as the afternoon hours wore on and while many of the park's visitors found the fair weather pleasant, one young man sat slumped against the trunk of a massive tree. A folded umbrella lay an arm's length away, his pallid fingers tapping the soil beside it, ad if it were a weapon to be drawn at a moment's notice. Cracking his left eye, Xiu noted a line of a rust colored ants trailing a long line up the bark, with no obvious point of return.
"Too damn hot to do anything," he told them in a low voice, "Too damn early to get out of here. Mind if I walk with you ladies?"
Reaching behind him, he extended his fore and middle fingers and made them march a little ways with the insects, but the position proved too uncomfortable and he with drew with a wince and sigh,
"The sun is evil. E-V-I-L."
A few kids tossed a frisbee a few yards away, their tan legs carrying them through the grass with the effortlessness of the weekend. The albino grimaced and looked down at his lap, his black jeans speckled with dirt and fallen leaves as evidence of the hours he'd taken sanctuary under the tree. He didn't know why he'd lingered in the park during one of his night walks or why he'd decided that sleeping under the ancient tree had seemed an acceptable lodging, but, at the very least, he'd had the foresight to bring his umbrella.
Not that he'd had the chance to use it. The blunt he'd finished a few hours ago still had him slogging through the day and he'd been so subdued that even bodily functions were too troublesome to be addressed.
One of the kids threw back half a water bottle and Xiu crossed his legs. He needed to piss in the worst way, but the process of standing and locating a place to relieve himself sound like the endeavor of a lifetime.
"Gotta get a different strain," he muttered, again to his only six-legged company, and distracted himself with the other individuals enjoying the park.
A young couple waltzed past, Xiu's face falling into a cartoonish scowl, but he was immediately drawn away from his jealousy by another pair: a man and woman in their early to mid twenties. The woman was toting a large piece of paper that she kept leading with into conversations with bypassing patrons, while the man had merely seemed to glide over and strike up a conversation with her. It was too far away for Xiu to hear their exchange, but they looked so different it was difficult to image that their lifestyles would intersect in any way. Neither looked suited for the park either.
The albino was so preoccupied with these odd people that he did not notice the sounds of something rummaging through the thick bushes behind his tree.
Blocks of buildings, in God knows how many miles square city. THIS was not as easy as she had expected. Maybe that was the reason the cops decided to call off the search. The female folded her right sleeve up over her elbow and was ready to start another round of inquiry when the picture that was firmly held between her front teeth and bottom lip was snatched. Her head instantly turned to the direction where the crucial object of the search was taken away from her.
"running an errand, doll?"
The voice sounded quite familiar. She was pretty sure the man was someone she frequently bumped into at nights; a Regalia to be exact. A grin appeared on her lips as she scoffed at the boldness of this raven calling her a doll. The two were in different league. One was the creature that ruled the sky and another one was the creature that ruled the ground. Even so, both of them were predators- they are bound to do the hunting at nights. Hae-Sun shook her head lightly and snatched back the picture from him. "Rei," she called his name. The picture has safely returned to her side and was held in the gap between index and middle fingers. "Don't call me Doll," she said monotonously. Her eyes glanced side to side, noticing few people were watching them. A sigh escaped from her mouth when she was able to read the expressions on their faces. This man, who was a year older than him, has attracted unneeded attentions for he was indeed a handsome being among the ugly lowlifes. She began pacing to a direction where there was a bench in the park.
Park was the going to be the next, and perhaps the last location of for this search. She tilted her head to Rei's direction while she kept her body moving to the front. "And it's not an errand. Some unfortunate benefactor of Nighshade lost his precious pet and mistook my words as a promise to help him find it," she exclaimed, shaking her head in disbelief. Her eyes averted to the bench she aimed to sit and caught a sight of a figure has already sat there in the first place. "Oh..." She huffed lightly. She stood beside the bench and did a quick glance on the perimeter. Her pupils thinned and thickened in response to the amount of ray light that tried to enter into her eyes. Irritated click heard as she snapped her teeth together. "This is why I hate evening walk," she spoke and turned her eyes to the bushes nearby. Her eyes stared intensely through the dark gaps between the leaves and branches. She was growling faintly as her sight tried to focus. "...." she could have been wrong about this. She swore something was moving behind it. Her head shook a bit as she turned for Rei. "Anyway, help me find Lucius," she flicked the photo up and high enough for him and the person who was sitting on the bench to see.
"Here, here! Throw it to me!" A shrieking voice heard from few meters behind her. She looked behind out of curiosity and noticed a family was spending their time together. The father, it seemed, was ready to throw a flying disc to his son who was the one who shouted earlier. The older man was teasing his son by swinging the disc back and forth, simply baiting the youngster to be impatient. It made Hae-Sun smiled, watching a happy family. What came next was unexpected. From the bushes, she heard noises as if something was moving and that something was huge and heavy from the sound. She knitted her eyebrows as she stared at the bushes.
"He...hey Rei, did you hea...."
Her sentence was left incomplete when the clump of shrubs shook vigorously and a black figure jumped out of it. Sudden screams and shrieks heard from the visitors in the park as the figure revealed to be a dangerously huge animal form the wild- a boar. It snorted and stomped its front leg. Hae-Sun gasped and shouted, "Kid, get out of the way!" perhaps they were all too surprised that the family, particularly the father simply stood there with his eyes on the full-grown animal. His son, being a young child, started to cry and was too frightened to move.
"Great, I said get out of the way, not start crying!" She sleeved up her another sleeve and whistled loudly. The boar turned to their direction. Okay, so now she got this big boar heading towards them and bought the time needed for the father to snap out of it and took his son. What's next?!
