Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.
One of the finest days of his life was when he could have himself a day off to do whatever he wants and be whenever he wants. No job, no files, no headache and, definitely, no nagging from and to the boss. His life on this island was moving towards a better future. He wished this could last forever except for one particular thing. His long side hair slid backwards as he walked. His way of walking by no means showed any sign he was a lady and his slender body and quite broad shoulders were good enough to prove his manliness. Yet, why they were some dudes tried to hit him? He knew he has a baby face, more flawless and prettier than any girl out there. "But that doesn't mean they should mistake me as a woman, damn it," he grumbled. He frowned angrily but when the stall keeper handed him a large cotton candy as he ordered, a smile quickly found its way home back on his lips. Delighted by the sight of the yummy candy, Lilianth dug into his pants pocket and paid the man. "Thank you," he said.
Back when he was in his country, he never had a chance to see what carnival looked like. He was on his 'mission' to kick his father off his seat that he barely had time for himself. No dating, no hanging out; nothing. He leaned against his chair and huffed loudly as if he was overloaded with energy and wanted to let it all out. That's better. His eyes started roaming around the cotton candy.
On second thought, this seemed a little bit too big for him though. He smirked.
[attr="class","mecha"]her cute outfit for the day <3 and lol yes she called him a girl.
In the midst of midsummer the brightly tinted sun shown so bright as it bathed the surrounding grounds in a sea of warmth and eased. Modern day skyscrapers flaunted their impregnable height and the false sense of power brought upon those who built it. Towering buildings raced to touch the infinite sea of clouds hovering over their heads as modernity continuously evolved around them. Urban life meant the keeping up with the flow of the hassle and bustle of normal everyday people going through and from along the sidewalk. Cars honked loudly in the midafternoon traffic and causing ears to bleed from the grating noises of those loud accursed creations.
During one those warm days a rare occurrence occurred as a young ‘brunette’ stared at her schedule with a mix of shock and disbelief, a parasol stood hovering over her head. Sounds of joys permitted through the peaceful serenity of her momentus peace. Laughter, bright and happy squeals of children grated next into her sensitive eardrums that it made the owner wince while holding a hand over to the abused appendage. It was clearly a warm day, most were out in clothes fit for light travelling and cooling enough to keep them from sweating like german pigs in a sauna. Green orbs squinted from the protective shield of her hat, observing the plethora of plebeians walking down the same route over and over again. Massive array of tents stood in perfect symmetry, lined along one another offering their assorted arrays of knick knacks and games towards the visiting crowd.
Time and time again, the young petite framed female remarked how ordinary life seems so carefree, it felt dull in a sense. Uncrossing her legs from the chair, she moved to stand from the seat offered by the café she sat in. Saturday morning and look how crowded the carnival is, Rayne had to reigned in the impulse to jerk away from the crowd. It’s been so long since she was in a Carnival memories of the past began to emerge only to be pushed back into the back burner of her mind. She closed her now green tinted eyes. Hidden in the safety of her disguise as the famed model ‘Rika Fairwell’ She allowed herself the luxury of observing those around her and the surroundings she landed in. Whispers came as she moved her hat along her head, accenting the chosen wardrobe of a white ruffled tube top dress accented by black lined clothe along the hem and top as well the pair of loose black khaki pants and a matching pair of black chucks to end the look. Long brown hair swayed in symphony with the warm breeze behind her knotted into a quick easy ponytail.
Whispers caught her ears, coming from some civilians noting her likeliness to the young songstress of course that was her, even a small change of clothes couldn’t hide the fact she could have went with another look but this seemed more subtle in a location such as this one. She glanced back towards the two whispering girls she played out a playful jib on the ‘smile’ as fake as it was she made it look perfectly indistinguishable from even a real one. She winked, watching as the girls uttered an eep before scurrying off it made the young female chuckle to herself. In a sea of so many cattle, the girl began to scan her surroundings as if looking for some enjoyment on a rare day as a day off to come to ‘Rika’s’ life she was not about to waste it. From the side she caught something, faintly tinted of snow move along with the crowd. White hair, it’s rare seeing a white head these days normally she wouldn’t give it a thought but this time, a curious child demanded to be entertained.
Weaving her way through the thick hordes of ongoers the child looked from left to right, trying to spot the same shade she saw from the corner of her eye. She was getting deeper into the ‘belly of the beast’ as she fondly nicknamed this unpassable land filled with heavy crowds of ‘cattle’ it was there, settled close to a cotton candy place she spotted the slender figure of a girl casually eating a stick of cotton candy. Rayne squinted those pretty greens at his direction for clearer view the girl casually moved closer until the child spotted a few local boys ogling at the feminine figure. She tilted her head, moving closely towards the silverette she tapped ‘her’ shoulder. “Onee-chan you’re being turned into luncheon meat by your fan club over there.” She stated oh so innocently.
with a disgruntled sigh, reijne stalked through the streets of selene isle’s gibbous moon district. his features twisted into an unbecoming scowl as he plunged his hands into the pockets of his jeans, and despite his pristine appearance, the whited haired fighter radiated an aura that kept the crowd at bay, warning them against approaching the temperamental male. he loathed the idea of remaining locked away in the office of his family’s legacy, transitioning into his abandonment of his duties. a portion of his heart trembled in guilt at the idea of forcing his obligations onto his twin’s shoulders; however, he abhorred the idea of wasting the glorious afternoon sunshine on paperwork. moreover, his favorite employee decided to utilize his day off and deserted the male for an adventure in the districts of selene isle.
one hand rose from his pocket and tugged at the silky locks of hair that cascaded around his face, ruffling the previously picturesque set of his hair and adding an undercurrent of danger to the man’s physical appearance. regardless of the heat, reijne decided to don his favorite pair of black skinny jeans and unearthed his cobalt blue tank top, which hugged his lithe figure and highlighted his muscles, but before exiting from the house, he grabbed a sleeveless jacket, throwing the garment over himself and then vanishing into the growing crowd that meandered out of the housing district. the fair haired ceo enjoyed the tranquility of the lunar cycle district though he doubted that lilianth would lounge around in his apartment. the effeminate male still needed to experience the distracts in their immense glory. of course, he hungered to see the expressions that flickered across the other’s mien as understanding dawned upon him.
clothed shoulders shifted in a subtle upwards movement as his head tipped back, jewel toned eyes boring into the cloudless sky above him. a huff slipped past his parted lips as he dropped his hand to his side, fingers brushing against the spade shaped clip and tilting the object slightly. bemusement colored his expression as his feet carried him closer to the shrill screams of joy that issued forth from the fair grounds. generally, merchants maintained stalls year round; however, a circus or carnival occasionally passed through and utilized the spacious area to rob the residents of their money and to display their unusual talents to the true pairs that inhabited selene isle. unlike most mundanes, the circus troupes merely desired to showcase their talents and delighted in eliciting joy from their audiences.
combat boot clad feet traversed from concrete to dusty field in an instant, and as cobalt hued eyes drifted over the crowds, he caught a flash of familiar silvery blue hair. petal pink lips curved into a delighted grin as he began weaving through the crowd, frantically searching for his secretary; however, the crowd surged around him and blocked his view of his target. reijne struggled against the crowd for several heartbeats, and when he managed to surface from the suffocating masses, he was greeted with the sight of a brunette approaching his employee. the amusement vanished from his features as jealousy briefly flickered to life within his eyes. a deep breath caused his chest to expand and shoulders to shift minutely upwards. after recovering from his battle against the carnival crowd and strange surge of emotion, he began walking toward lilianth and the stranger, catching the end of the woman’s opening statement and barely refraining from pivoting to glare at the aforementioned fan club.
but no, he managed to maintain his composure, diminishing the space between himself and the fair haired secretary in one fell swoop. slender fingers reached out and casually brushed lilianth’s hair away from his effeminate features and behind his ear, and after deeming the other presentable, his hand shifted to steal a portion of the cotton candy that resided in his sacrifice’s grasp. were you planning to avoid me for the afternoon, love? reijne queried, carefully ignoring the oddly familiar woman and positioning himself at the other male’s side in a protective stance—jealousy radiating off his figure and eyes narrowed in obvious dismissal of the teenaged girl that dared approach his defenseless flower.
701 Kouki Futaba & @rayne for someone that doesn't believe in relationships, you're super possessive, rei.
He was ready to give the idea of eating it this candy up alone. No matter how hard he tried to convince that this was the right size for him, he felt unsettled over the amount of sugar he would consume. Lilianth was a health freak, he may not see like one but he actually was. His eyes examined for an escape or two from this horror of bloating himself with the amount of sweet this cotton candy would serve. The way he was checking it up was just so cute the guys and girls around him were drooling and blushing simultaneously over the expression he has on his flawless feminine face. Who on Earth would do such an innocent look while looking at something as sweet and soft as cotton candy?! He brushed his hair to the back of his ear and flipped it behind his shoulder. Silky hair fell down like silk being flapped for a show.
"Onee-chan you’re being turned into luncheon meat by your fan club over there."
A voice greeted him after a gentle tap on his shoulder. The young adult blinked and tilted his head adorably towards the young girl. "Oh?" He scoffed lightly and brought his attention to the direction she meant. He simply gave a blank stare to the overview of a group of men who were watching him. His eyes squirted as he spoke to the girl without looking at her, "Well, people say ignorance is a bliss." A soft sigh escaped before he turned to her, chuckling with a bright smile. "No need to be so alarmed over some group of brainless dudes, kiddo. They are just staring at me..." the smile vanished and morphed into a disgusted smirk. His eyes were set half-way closed with a faint growl. "...although I must say it's disgusting consider I'm a dude myself," he continued.
Tingly feeling began to float in his heart- a familiar and warm tingly feeling he always felt when he was around... "Shit," he smirked and immediately turned his attention wildly for the crowd. His neck stretched as long as it could, trying to scan for the man he constantly felt this such prickling sensation when they were close. The first glance he saw nothing, so as the second turn and on his third, along with sudden ticklish feeling, a voice hit his ears.
"were you planning to avoid me for the afternoon, love?"
The touch- the soft and gentle brush of his hair made the sensitive body shrieked like a cat being awoke from a loud bang. He literally jumped off his bench, made a turn and accidentally stumbled himself to the ground on his backside. His tail stood straight and so as his two ears. "OH GOD, BOSS!" He shouted. His face was purely painted in red and his fingers went rigid and stiff. Heavy breathing escaped from his mouth but he held it immediately. "A S-SIMPLE HELL-LO IS G-GOOD ENOUGH, YA KNOW!" He murmured behind his palm. It was a little rude introduction but yes- this man was none of than his own boss, Reijne. A handsome fellow but with horrible, HORRIBLE, personalities. A flirt, a womanizer and a pervert. If it was not because he offered him a job with good salary, Lilianth would have not stayed with him at all.
No wait, he has to because- well, they were bind by the true name.
Smirk escaped along with small and nervous cackles. Something tells him he was not happy about this. "Well, today IS my day off," he began talking. "So... kinda obvious right?" He did not dare to look back at the man, knowing all in his eyes were flames that would engross him in disaster. He was angry all right, so what was the point trying to fuel it even more? A heavy sigh escaped. The cotton candy remained safely in his hand, fortunately.
[attr="class","mecha"]Lol, Poor girl is getting confused.
Oh what a rude man, instantly to the mind of the young starlet. A unnoticeable twitch pulsated on her forehead, unnoticed thanks to the dozens of fabricated control she poured over her carefully stitched illusion of an innocent happy go lucky model. Deep inside is where everything really mattered, dark and deceit that dwelled within each human. Day by day is simply a stage play for the young girl. To see which role she could flawlessly portray as if living through it day by day which she clearly does seeing as how adept she was in acting.
This was a mere role in a film for her, another act that the audience waited with baited breathe for the actress to act her role without a single flaw. She hid her immediately dislike for the rude gesture preferring to push it back as an unnecessity in her plans. She had no plans, her desires was to simply act as her role predetermine for her. Her mind reeled back the man’s words, green eyes widened in realization that the ‘female’ she thought actually ended up being a man. Rayne grumbled a few eligible words under her breathe something that strangely sounded about the curse of effeminate man. “Ahh, I can understand that...You look really feminine gomene!” She fidgeted her fingers nervously before tilting her head innocently at the silverette that joined them.
Her impression of him bordered along the lines of a rude impolite man but she brushed that off since clearly both males knew each other. She wanted to ask if there was a sudden parade of white heads rolling around. She looked around, failing to see anyone with the same unique shade as these two. “People do tend to make assumptions base of appearance though I find it disturbing to see someone being turned into cattle meat, that’s why I had to say it.” She sheepishly admitted. Did the man think she was after him? She wondered internally, basing his actions as that of a jealous lover. Still the child kept these thoughts out of her expression for she already took note of the man’s sharp eye before hand.
A good actor needs to know her surroundings and those portraying her act to. She tilted her head, brown hair fell in waves to her side as she watched the whole fiasco before her before... a giggle slipped from her slips. No this wasn’t planned, this was actually unforeseen in her mind. She did not expect or planned to allow the laugh but the display they did was simply far too amusing. “You two look cute together, like two snow balls.” She chirped, giggling faintly as she watched the two. She didn’t offer a hand to help the man for the older fair headed man already marked her as a predator for the man. Which to the life of the asexual child she did not understand just what was going on inside that older man head, it was best not to ask. Things like this are just far too much for her brain to actually comprehend.
