One thing to note about Delaney: music was not her passion. If it were something to be graded in, she'd receive a very low grade.
So, when she was told to go retrieve a new album from some band that she'd never heard of, it was safe to say Laney was rather lost. Lost, impatient, and probably more irritable than she would have wished she could have been. It was a mystery to her how long she'd been lost inside the music store, sifting through music as though she had nothing better to do. No, it hadn't occurred to her that in the click of a few buttons, she'd be reminded of just what to get (or, maybe, she had and didn't want to take that blow to her own esteem), and it hadn't occurred to her that she might have had an easier time getting help.
Instead, Laney would pull out a disc, slip into what seemed to be something that she could listen to the music in, and hang around that for a while until she found a song that she liked. To say the least, she probably looked a little suspicious, earning herself at least an hour just simply searching around for something that sounded slightly familiar and listening to anything she'd managed to grab.
That, and the frown plastered to her face seemed to scare everyone who would have been willing to help her off. Laney couldn't say that she minded.
Taking a deep breath, she pulled out yet another disc. The album looked white, some rainbow filter thrown on in a few places, lone man in the corner, and pushed the disc in. Once the headphones were on, she started skipping through the songs, frown still adorning her face. She didn't want to spend any more time in Electric Beats, but she also didn't want to bring home the wrong album.
It was something of a dilemma.
