Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.
It wasn’t that she didn’t like him or that she thought he was ugly no it was more based on the fact that well the boy just scared the living shit out of her. He had been nice to start with calm and collected and she had thought that maybe this one would turn out to be one of those knight in shining armor type guys. Instead she found herself panicking every time she was left alone in the same room with him, the same man she had tried to get to work with her at the shop her father had given her. Yes it was a good thing the boy had turned her down or else Zakuro would have never slept again. She was too far out of her comfort zone when he was around and even when she knew he wasn’t just being in the same place he could have been gave her shivers. So when the meeting for the elite members of Seven moons had ended and Zakuro was left to walk herself out of the building they had choose to gather in this time she couldn’t help but feel as though she was being watching. She knew the boy had been called just like all the other unit members to guard the place but she couldn’t find him no matter how hard she tried to look without being obvious.
“ Azrael I know your around here somewhere just come out your giving me the creeps and if you keep it up im going to go find Satoru and tell him you messed with his art stuff and drew on the bathroom walls !” perhaps it would work for her but she highly doubted any threat she delivered would scare him. She knew too little about the blanks and their daily lives to ever hope to know what would frighten them let alone make them happy. She was going to lose her mind if she didn’t find him though, after the things he had said to her last time she wasn’t sure if she could handle not knowing exactly where he was at any giving point while having to be forced to be in the same location with him. “ Seriously Azrael come out here this instant !” perhaps it was just better if she ran for her life now and made it back home before her actually did come out and face her? Now that she thought about it having to be face to face with him was going to take up more time and make her spend it with him or the thought of him to be exact. Both of those sounded horrible and now that her brain had actually processed all of the information getting the hell out of there before he did show his face was probably the best idea that was if she wanted to actually sleep for the rest of the week.

[attr="class","content"] Of course Az arrived when summoned. If he had decided to kick back and stay home, he would have missed the opportunity to observe the fascinating assortment of other individuals involved with the Seven Moons all gathered in one place. How could he deny himself such an opportunity? He was disappointed, to say the least, by the caliber of most of the individuals assigned to defend the meeting place. It didn't look like they would be able to put up much of a fight if a serious threat appeared.
Luckily, that was an unlikely event, so Az's primary interests lied with what would come after the meeting, rather than during the dull, drawn-out wait outside which he was bound to whilst the meeting itself carried on out of earshot. He sat in plain sight while the time sloshed along, reading an old book on a sidewalk bench. But he didn't look out of place -- in fact, from the way some of the others looked at him, he suspected that not all of the guards even knew who he was or why he was here. Hell, most of them probably didn't even know that Az was a "he". His outfit, a crimson and black dress of a simple, but sleek design cut a few inches above his knees, likely didn't help their misunderstanding.
His piercing emerald gaze flicked up from the pages of his book as he noticed the elite Seven Moons members began to exit the building. Ah, yes, now was when his day would begin to become entertaining. It wasn't difficult to trail his favorite little Rabbit -- all he had to do was subtly make sure that there was something, whether it be a column, a bush, or another person, between himself and her gaze. Az could hear her calling for him. He wasn't too far away. Ah, fine. Her threat was weak (honestly... he had only used Satoru's art supplies to draw on the walls once. ONCE.), but it'd likely be more fun to talk with her than to simply follow her around like a ghost.
Flipping out his phone, his fingers raced to send her a text as she insisted that he come out in the open again. Az slipped out from behind a rosebush and, walking outside of her peripheral vision as best he could, walked right up behind her. If her phone went off from his text, that would just be an added bonus. After all, his bare feet were well accustomed to moving without a sound.
"Aw, were you lonely without me, Rabbit?" he chimed in, providing a deceptively innocent smile upon his countenance.
She really wasn’t sure what to expect when the boy would finally come from his hiding, Az was well known to show up to these sorts of events in the most flamboyant of outfits. Sure thought the guards were more likely to stop the boy before he got very far, however it had been know that Az was more likely to sneak in then to actually attend at a normal member. However with the way she was feeling there was no way that creepy boy wasn’t here, her heart had started beating at quicker pace as the feel of the room just screamed he was watching her. She only had a few more black mailing points to make against Azreal before she would be out of luck in making the man surface and leave her with a sort of peaceful mind. There was no way she was ever going to have peace of mind with Az around anyways he was just far to creepy for her to have any sense of safety. She had barely been paying attention to anything else unaware that she was pray to a creature so fearsome that it stalked her from the shadows.
Just when she was at her wits end her phone began to go off causing the girl to jerk in surprise, as she fumbled around her pocket to find the contraption the cold icely feel of someone behind her caused her motions to slow. She could clearly feel the hot breathe on the back of her neck but she was to scared to check, trying her best to pretend like nothing was wrong she pulled her phone out only to see that Az had texted her. When he spoke she nearly jumped out of her skin and squealed with such a fright she was sure people would come to see if she had been murdered. Gripping her phone tightly she turned around only to glare at Azreal “ SERIOUSLY AZ” she screamed at him before checking the text message which read “ right behind you” shaking her head Zakuro let out a little huff of anger “ oh yeah very funny “ she seethed at him before taking off towards the door, making note of the horrible attire he had put upon himself “ seriously Az I own a clothing shop and you still appear before people in getups like that! Uh it’s like you love mocking me and my attempt at a business” she had no idea what she was talking about she was still just a kid after all. It wasn’t like she was an expert on anything but she knew that running around dressed like a girl in such a horrid color was never going to get him anywhere. Well not that anyone really wanted Az to go anywhere near them to be honest.

[attr="class","content"] The little Rabbit must have been quivering in fear. She had to have know that Az was behind her. It wasn't as if he was trying to assassinate her; if that had been the case, the poor girl wouldn't have even known that she was dead. But right now was just a game to him, so he was looming rather obviously. At least, obvious by his standards.
It was entertaining when she squeaked like a little mouse; Az had so much fun making her squirm like this, even if it was so easy for him to press her buttons. "Hehe~ Welllll, I think it's funny. You're too jumpy, Rabbit." In a lighthearted, teasing manner, he reached out to gently boop her on the nose with his index finger before she headed off towards the door. Girlishly entwining his fingers behind his back, he followed just a step behind her.
His lips faltered from their smiling position and scrunched into a pout when Rabbit voiced her disapproval of his dress. "If you think this is mocking, then I'll continue to mock. It compliments my hair and it has pockets and it's easy to walk in and the blood stains don't show up and look--" he dangled a folded paper in front of her face with numbers scrawled between the creases, "-- three whole guys gave me their numbers, presumably because they thought I was pretty. And maybe cuz I mighta' winked at 'em a little. But I'm still right, so there." He finished with crossed arms and an expression that said he was right and there was no way anyone was going to change his opinion (complete with a childishly stuck-out tongue).
There were only few times that Zakuro could actually stand Az… well no now that she thought about it there wasn’t any time in particular that she could ever recall in the entire time she had known him that she could stand him. She only played along because the creature could very well snap her neck without anyone knowing about it and walk away like it was no big deal. That was the current and present danger that Az possessed and Zakuro was not one to tempted the fates when she was clearly aware she wasn’t in any place to beat him out right.
“Says the black widow who keeps stalking its prey, I am not amused Az were supposed to be on the same team and here you are trying to off me in a meeting we just had together! Where do your loyalties lie” she hissed at him jokingly, knowing that well part of that wasn’t really a joke, the man practically tried to kill her daily as some sort of joke. Always playing it off as if he wasn’t really trying to harm her or that she could take up and protect herself, her group was dangerous and she was glad to be on the same side with them … well some days that was.
Zakuro could only look back at Az with utter disappointment as he tried to defend his attire, more so the type of dress and the fact that it suited him? Why did all of her teammates have to be so nutty? Staring at the piece of paper dangling from his hand she read the numbers on the paper and couldn’t help but give him the most confused look she could muster. “ or cause you look like the ugly chick who has low self-esteem and must be seriously easy, and since you aren’t fat they figure it’s mostly a win win cause your nothing but a butter face” she wondered if he would get the meaning behind her but her face but in all seriousness she didn’t want to stick around for him to figure it out, he was only going to pick on her more if she provoked him.

[attr="class","content"] "Rabbiiiiiiit," Az whined when she suggested that he had just been planning to kill her. Loosely wrapping his arms around her neck and resting his chin on her shoulder, he looked over at her with a pout on his face. If anyone who hadn't known Az was watching, they would have almost surely took pity upon him her. "Your words are so hurtful. You meanie, I thought we were friends... Don't you trust me?"
If she didn't, she was smart. Az was not at all invested in Seven Moons; he could walk away one day whenever he wanted to without a single regret. That said, he didn't seem to mind risking his life for people whom he hardly cared for from time to time, so he appeared loyal to many. However, people rarely noticed the countless times when Az simply walked away, denying his assistance to them. He wasn't an ally. He was an unpredictable storm.
Az released Zakuro from his embrace before he showed Zakuro the numbers and promptly began to get insulted by the young girl. "So rudeee," Az whined before huffing and continuing on with a slightly crooked grin. "So I guess you must know a lot about what goes on in guys' minds then, hm?" jokingly asked the male in a dress, "What kind of guy would you think is worth going out with, then? How would you know he's not just showing interest in you for some of this?" When he said the word "this", Az gently smacked the girl's behind with his palm and just kept on walking as if nothing significant had happened.
If there was one thing she couldn’t stand it was when Az whined at her in such a voice calling her that horrible little nickname he had picked for her, honestly if he wasn’t trying to kill her why would he pick such a name to call her all the time. He honestly sucked at the whole pretending like he cared objective, sure Zakuro was a bit on the obvious side but she wasn’t stupid his motives were clear and they held no loyalty to her. A shiver ran up her spine as his arms snaked around her neck and his chin found its way to her shoulder, never a better position than to break her neck and hold her up to make it look innocent. “ we are friends Az in the sense that we trust each other as far as we can throw each other” there was no way she was going to put more faith in the man when she honestly didn’t want to be around him in the first place. If he was aware of it or not Zakuro really didn’t care but she had no desire to be suck within this stupid organization, it was just something her father had placed her in because he had been so dedicated to it.
It was almost like a rush of pleasure when Az let go of her and she was free to move once more, the worry and the fear he was going to do something crazy was instantly washed from her mind. However Az was still so focused on the fact that she didn’t approve of his getting numbers or his attire. He was getting rather vulgar with his speech, honestly Zakuro knew nothing about men and she clearly wanted to keep it that way. Her ears twitched the more he suggested she wanted laid and with a firm slap of his hand against her ass Az had clearly lost his mind. Turning to look at him she could only stare at him while she tried to think of something to say, her tail twitched behind her and she suddenly slapped him across the face. “ seriously Az “

[attr="class","content"] Zakuro had always been rather transparent about her feelings towards Az, though he had never seemed to take her fear or resentment very seriously. Today was no better, and possibly even worse than usual due to his ignorant ditz personality. "Are we talking about physical throwing or spell-based throwing because, no offense darling, but last time I checked I had you beat in both those regards. How do you even function with these little noodle arms, anyway?" He grabbed one of her wrists between his index finger and thumb and lifted it up for a moment as if it was a wet rag, then released it again with an expression indicating that he was less than impressed. "Though I bet if you tried you could bush me pretty far," he rambled on, "You know, if I was on the edge of a cliff or something. Just one little shove and I'd tumble aaaaaall the way down. Not that there'd be much left of me by the end of it, but what I'm saying is that it's all very situational, you know?"
After he slapped her butt, she stopped and stared at him. Well, he had assumed that such an action would be crossing some sort of line, but at least she hadn't called for any assassins to kill him yet , so that was a good sign. To him, the slap in the face felt more like a gentle pat on the cheek. His artificially engineered body couldn't feel the sting of pain from the slap, so his expression didn't even flinch. Still, he knew this action had meaning beyond simply causing pain. He had definitely managed to stroke her the wrong way.
The sane thing to do would be to apologize or say something along the lines of "it won't happen again," but acting with complacency had never been something on Az's agenda. Instead, he grinned and replied in a sweet tone, "You're so silly, Rabbit. When have I been serious about anything?" And as if completely trivializing her anger wasn't enough, he then proceeded to pat her on the head like a needy pet.
