HISTORY & EXTRA INFO
Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Eirik Bjornsen was a child that grew up in a privileged and wealthy family. Eirik grew up in a household were his parents taught him different values than what normal people would teach their children. His father was a harsh and stern man. Never had Eirik ever seen him smile, his mother loved him and her family, but she could be just as harsh as his father. Sometime his mother could be a little worse. She was his mother, and she only wanted what was best for him.
For generations Eririk’s family had excelled in the medical field. His family owned a few hospitals around Norway, and one or two in Sweden and Denmark. But underneath it all, his father worked in the underground world. He worked with the black market, trading and selling weapons, selling illegal drugs, and medicines. It was his father’s job, no it was his family’s job. Eirik had become accustomed to life among the elite. For as long as he could remember he had always attended parties with his father’s business partners, including other crime lords. He was taught different values. Eirik was taught that people of different social status than him were beneath him. He witnessed cruelty in his father’s world. He had witnessed executions at his father’s hands. He had witnessed the lies and lack of love from those around him. He grew up believing that people could not be trusted, not even his own father. Eirik had killed on his father’s orders because his father believed that he needed to learn how to assert his authority as the next family head.
The truth was, Eirik did not want to be a part of that world. Eirik loved music, art and history. He loved to read different kinds of books. It was his escape from the reality he lived in.
His mother never seemed to interfere in anything, and when his sister was born he tried his hardest to make sure she was never involved in that life. Eirik never had that choice. His parents never let him have it. His mother wanted what was best for her son, and so she thought that leaving him to his father was the best way to go. Eirik never got to experience life as a normal child. At age 12 was when he made his first kill. A man had wronged his father, and because his father was a ruthless man, he had ordered Eirik to do the kill. One shot to the head. Eirik never wanted to do it, but a part of him wanted to please his father. Despite the lack of experience, a shot to the head it was, his aim was on point and he killed the man. There was guilt to what he had done, but with time the guilt had gone away. Eventually, killing was just another every day normal thing in his life.
He was never one to have friends. He didn’t know what having close relationships with anyone was like. There was his younger sister and he just doted on her. His little sister was his world. She was like a beacon of light to him in the dark world he existed in. Yet he could never confide in her. He couldn’t allow her to know the things he had done in the name of their family. He was sure she was aware of some things, but it was better if she was kept oblivious to many things. He never trusted anyone, not even his own family.
He thinks love and romance only occurs in fairy tales, and friendship is only for naïve children who haven’t realized what the world is truly capable of.
Shortly after graduating highschool, is when his true name appeared. Written across his right upper shoulder. His parents eventually had found out, and they sent him to live with his Uncle from his mother’s side of the family. His Uncle was a Sacrifice and he wasn’t exactly warm and affectionate either. He was just as snobbish as the people that had raised him, but he did teach Eirik all that he needed to know. He tried teaching Eirik that fighters were nothing but tools to be used, essentially they were like dogs. Loyal to their master, and Eirik was taught that he was the master. He thought it was nothing but a foolish ideal from his Uncle. If you could have such a connection with someone, who could be your equal, why treat them any less? If he was honest with himself, he craved that kind of connection with someone who could stand with him on equal ground. He disagreed with many things with his uncle.
He learned that Mundanes were like people with no social status and that was not something he could accept so easily. His sister was a mundane, and he would not treat her any less than what she was. Eventually, Eirik decided to leave his Uncle’s side and he moved to Selene Isle, and attended University there.
He liked that life there, it was quiet and free from the reigns of his family. He was a jobless student living off of his parents’ money. He had no normal job skills. Eirik just wanted something quiet and simple, and despite that peaceful life he was now living, he couldn’t even cook for himself, microwaves were fascinating to him and he learned how to use them quickly.. He was used to servants doing things for him, and now he was going to have to learn how to live on his own.

Other info
Eirik is a quiet guy. He likes to keep to himself. He's a no nonsense kind of guy. He can be seen as rude sometimes, he's snarky and always makes snide or sarcastic remarks towards people. He always has a serious attitude, and you'll rarely see him smile. There are few things that will make him smile. His sister is one of them, the other is when he learns new life skills now that he's living on his own. He will do a complete personality change if he learns how to cook or bake something, and will become like an enthusiastic child. But it is a side of him he doesn't show to anyone. Thanks to his upbringing he has learned that to show any kind of emotion to anyone is a sign of weakness. He's learned that people can prey on your own emotions, and it's why he's become used to keeping a tight lid on them. He has seen enough to know that if someone wants to bring you harm they can use many things against you.
He's socially awkward. He was raised with the belief that he didn't need friends. He doesn't know what it's like to have a best friend, or someone you can truly depend on. He likes to tell himself that he doesn't need friends, but usually finds himself longing to be like other people. He realizes that it's impossible so he doesn't even try to make friends.
Despite his cold demeanor, Eirik actually cares. He can be compassionate particulary to women in general. He has a soft spot for women and animals, and will stick up for them when they are in trouble. Usually when he helps someone they try to make friendly conversation with him and that's when he makes a beeline for the exit. When it gets to that point, he usually doesn't know how to react in a situation when someone offers him friendship. He can't tell if they have good or bad intentions, and he doesn't know how to be friendly either way. He doesn't like that particular weakness of his so he tends to isolate himself from people. Though he wishes he was different.
If he ever decides to trust you, he will be loyal. The world he grew up in is one full of Deceit. Trust is the hardest thing to earn, and it is rare to find someone to trust. He's seen people turn on people, he's seen the greed in which make men into the vilest of creatures, he's seen women do just the same. He's learned that the world isn't all roses and daisies, it's just a farce. It's why it's hard to trust anyone. But if he finds someone he can be open to, he will be loyal. He is a man of his word, if you earn his trust and loyalty he will be someone reliable, someone you can depend on.
He is a proud young man, and that makes him seem stuck up at times. The beliefs that were drilled into his head was that different social statuses is what make people different, and that he was better then the rest. He doesn't flaunt his money around, because he does consider that to be rude, he still has manners. But he does think himself better than most people. He is arrogant at times, and sometimes that just makes people dislike him at times. Which is also one of the reasons why he finds himself unable to make friends all on his own. He can't seem to swallow his pride and walk up to someone to even try and be nice. Living on his own, Eirik has tried to change a few things about himself. Sometimes he fails miserably, but he tries to get by. He is learning because by being self sufficient, he's realized what ordinary people go through. He's always had everything handed to him, people made his food, washed his clothes and done many other things for him, that he never realized how hard it was. He's never asked for help though. He googles things, because he refuses to ask for any help. But still, it's allowed him to nicer to be people.
