HISTORY & EXTRA INFO
"When you look back at the road behind you what do you see?" Asked an anonymous voice, it's tone teetering between curious and ambiguous
"I see, regret, pain, suffering, and a vow," muttered a disheartened man.
"A supposed 'Hero of Justice' hates the path he walked down? Why," the depressed man did not move an inch. It seemed as if the very flow of time stopped as he recalled the path that he had tread.
"I am no Hero of Justice. I am a criminal, a scumbag that mindlessly helps others in order to find what I am searching for."
"What is it that you are searching for then?"
"I have no need to answer your question."
Abandoned, alone, scared, hated. That is how Lajos felt each and everyday, those negative, disgusting emotions always on the surface of his mind. Dropped off and unwanted, that was how he ended up in the orphanage. It suited him since they were all unwanted and unloved like him. He helped others, always putting a smile on his face. Always anger for another, always fighting for another, always getting hurt for another. Why did he do it? Because he wanted to be accepted by the others. He wanted to see their faces so he could give that reassurance to himself, 'they need you. It was what kept him going at such a young age. He was always selfless. And he hated it. He hated the fakeness to his emotions, it felt as if he was a doll. Putting others before himself, getting happy for them, getting sad for them. His very state of mind was fake. Yet, even with that said. He could not put himself before others.
A Hero of Justice. When a child says they want to be one, people can not help but think 'how pure' or 'how cute'. But he truly admired them. They were just like him...in a sense. Fake, giving to others whilst getting hurt. Their joy came from the joy of others. Even whilst a child Lajos had this kind of mindset.
One day in middle school it happened. His true name appeared while he was changing out in P.E. All the people he helped. Everyone who had smiling faces around him instantly turned on him. The friends he knew and helped since childhood shunned him. The teachers who said he was bright and he had a great future ahead of him, erased his presence. Life was hard, no, impossible. Kicked out of school, everyone who he helped shunned him. Was that all he deserved for his hardwork? Was this what he deserved for the pain and sadness he tolerated for someone else. Ah, was this human nature? A month had past and he moved Selene Isle.
It would be a lie if he said he was not hurt. But he still held onto his ideals. A Hero of Justice, that is what he strived to become. Even though they were fake. Even though they would get hurt for another person's sake. Perhaps it was okay for him to become one? Maybe...if he was a bit nicer he would finally become happy and satisfied with himself. That was when he met him.
"That's really admirable, becoming a Hero of Justice that is." Spoke a new face, his smile as radiate as the sun.
It was the first time somebody did not laugh at his ideals. After all, becoming a hero was something only kids dreamed of. This was the start of their blossoming relationship. Yeas past since he made him and it was....one of the few times he actually felt joy from not helping somebody. His emotions felt genuine and he felt alive. And they still often helped people out. Like Lajos, he wanted to help others and he got hurt for other people's sake. Perhaps the world was finally acknowledging his sacrifice.
There was an incident, perhaps it happened because Lajos never saw the true face of the world. Maybe it was because he stubbornly pursued this ideal of 'heroism' that the situation ended up like this. Yes, it was all his fault. Becoming a hero of justice was stupid. That was what the tearful Lajos thought as he looked at the blood stained body. Yes, he was dead. Helping out others got him stabbed.
"Lajos.....no matter what...never give up...on," dead. The criminal was sent to prison.
Lajos broke that day. The idea of heroes of justice are stupid. They only get themselves hurt. They can only feel pain. No matter how hard they try to help others happiness will not come to them. Yet, despite everything he believes. He still walks down the path, balling his fist and cursing himself. He wants to atone. It was his fault that his friend was dead and it was his duty to still help others. He deserved the pain, the unhappiness that comes with it.
"Is that why you walk down this path? Is this why you push yourself? In order to find happiness," asked the unseen person.
"You can make assumptions yourself. I have no obligation to answer you, nor do I have any intention to. Just know that...." Lajos' passive face turned into a frown as his hands balled into a fist.
"I hate heroes."

SPELL LIST
OFFENSIVE SPELLS COLUMN Gan Jiang and Mo Yen "Twin siblings, born in blood. The banging hammers ceased and they reap. Forgotten and reborn as two of one." These twin swords, Gan Jiang and Mo Yen are twin, curved shortswords. Gan Jiang and Mo Yen are the representation of ying and yang. With yin being Gan Jiang and yang being Mo Yen. Gan Jiang is black with a triangle of white at the hilt and Mo Yen is the opposite with it being completely white with a black triangle at the hilt. The hilt itself is 14 centimeters and the whole sword is a foot and a half. Once spoken the swords materialize in Lajos' hands. They function as regular short swords but like every spell they simply inflict pain onto the sacrifice. The swords are meant to be long-lasting in a spell-battle. Their long incarnation is a testament to that. Although higher class battle spells can destroy these swords they are difficult to destroy with spells on the same level. LEVEL: Basic ACCURACY: 30% COOL DOWN: 8 Spells | DEFENSIVE SPELLS COLUMN Nægling "Shield and protect, discarded treasure. Effective may be not, but hold against adversary." Once spoken a giant broad sword falls from the sky and lands in front of the target. The broadsword measures both eight feet in length and width. The hilt of the sword is wrapped in a golden layer and the sword is chipped away and appears to be falling apart. Yet appearances can be misleading since it makes quite the excellent shield.
