Hello, everyone! after dealing with real life and the other nonsense of living, panny and i have decided to bring back war of change. give a round of applause. we’ve worked through all of the information and hopefully improved coherency and cohesion; however, tell us if we missed something. eventually, we’ll announce an event to celebrate the re-opening, so look out for information on that. -RAIDNE, THE HEAD ADMIN
From the moonless night, screams of terror and fear resound, spreading across the world and infecting the masses; however, those sleepless nights occurred years ago. A new era began with the fires of war, and with no end in sight, the residents of Selene Isle trudge through life, basking in the momentary peace. Despite their prayers for continued monotony and peace, a storm brews, stirred to life by the continued presence of Rapture and Wraith. And as we set our sights on the seemingly peace laden isle, we must ask: how shall this tale end?
As the years passed, the number of true pairs increased; however, they continued to live in the shadows, catering to the whims of the mundane. Seven Moons kept watch over them all, instructing them and assisting them, but for many, the attitudes and ideals of the organization were smoldering, suffocating. With Seven Moons and the mundanes, they could not grasp the freedom, the power dangling before their eyes. In the beginning, rebellion was a dream, a fantasy, a figment—developed by the repressed and carried forward due to the nature of humanity. No one expected the call to sound, and no one expected the call to be answered. However, it happened.
The file slid across his desk slowly as one of his associates brought to him, someone had given him specifically and asked for him specifically. Athrun's right hand would slowly move onto the file and open it scanning over it with amusement before looking at the pay and grinned," Perfect..I dunno who this chick is nor why she wants me but money doesn't lie and it gets a lazy ass person like me off my ass," standing up he would grab the belt that held his trusty knife, Mr.Stabby and his pistol and sliding onto his person. His mind was in a half stupor since his meeting with that strange woman who not only looked like him but knew his name and the weird thing was that not that large of a group knew his actual name. Although the scene still played in his head and he was conflicted on it he would switch the topic to the job at hand.
Sliding out of the small building he had stayed in as a base of operations that would be in home away from blasphemy, he would slide his black jacket on and begin to walk towards the meeting zone where he was supposed to meet his client. About half way through his walk or rather a couple of minutes after leaving out of the building he realized that he could simply drive instead of walking the loooong way to the park. A loud engine would roar from the parking lot as Athrun took off on his motorcycle towards the park, silver hair blowing in the sharp wind as he picked up speed and made a left turn onto a nearby street," Lets have some fun," he roared as he performed a slight wheelie, giving no cares about the people around him or the lights.
After twenty minutes of speeding and getting a little caught up in traffic (most of which he had caused himself) he finally arrived to the park where he would stop his bike and hop off, looking around the area for the client or the person who had dropped off the information. His gun and knife would be hidden amongst his jacket as he began to walk through the park itself due to not seeing the person who he was looking for. This walk brought the young man to a nearby bench where he would sit down and look up into the sky, pulling out one of his shorts from his shirt pocket and lit it slowly before taking a long drag and closing his eyes," Why...did she know my name," the question battered his head while he continued to wait for the client to get here. Eventually he would have to go to that doctor of his and find out just what she knew or he would definitely drive himself insane over it....and who said life had no sense of humor.

[attr="class","mecha"]and she arrives. =P
Life had a twisted sense of humor in the eyes of the brunette whom now stared at the passing scenery racing past the moderate speeding vehicle she rode it. A sigh slid, forested eyes lingered momentarily on the glass surface before it shifted over to the driver’s seat of the mini 2008 white colored Hyundai her manager owned.
Her mind was clouded, glimpses of the past raced down to be finally acknowledge by the child who wanted nothing more than to burn the memory to the ground. To forget as they say but fate wouldn’t allow her that luxury. Fate being the stingy Spartan she was refused to allow her a bit of comfort through the comically fucked up life she lived up to now. Oh wait...she chuckled rereading her thoughts. There was nothing funny about it, her manager’s eye briefly passed towards the child, eyeing her before returning to the road when he heard the soft chuckles eliciting from the petite doll’s pallid façade. She quickly halted those giggles turned into mild sounding snorts that vanished quickly as she held it back. “Sorry, just a funny thought came to mind.” She stated after getting a grasp of her composure. Through the driver’s mirror hanging overhead the front of the car he gave her the look.
“Hmm? It’s not rare for you to zone out Rika, I’m used to it by now.” He waved it off, focusing once again towards the road. Rayne internally smirked, as much as the angelic illusion her façade appeared in. Beautiful brunette silky locks that cascaded down her shoulders held in a stylish bun over her head. A heart shaped finely crafted face that a doll master would love to have their hands on. She was, in a term something she often viewed herself as, a mere doll now made to entertain the masses for their pleasure.
She hid a smile from the thought, “So,” Beginning to dabble in a conversation she made sure to look the other way as she played the part of a reluctant starlet. “Who’s this man that’s supposed to be my bodyguard for the day?” She asked, accenting the question by a soft tilt of her slender neck. The man’s hand paused at the wheel as he tried to words to explain to the curious brunette unknowing that it was an elaborated act performed by the child. She knew who it was, ‘Rayne’ personally recommended him to the man to watch over her alternate self. “Hmm... He’s an interesting character I supposed.” The man acted vaguely, earning a raised eyebrow from the girl. To be quite honest Rayne simply wanted to see what her ‘twin’ was capable off. She wanted to actually talk to him in the protective covering of this mask. For she knew, she wont be able to stop messing with his head if she was to appear as the real her. She sighed softly, turning quiet as they approached the parking lot, jumping out of the car once it halted she grabbed onto the sun hat beside her before walking ahead of her manager. “I’ll go ahead to the shoot!” She called running ahead despite the man’s protest. She could already feel the piercing gaze of her stalker, lovely...she rolled her eyes as she settled onto the path towards the hill the shooting was to take place.
But passing that line they were supposed to meet with her bodyguard, up ahead she spotted a shade of familiar silver glinting in the sun. She knew it was him, her skin was already tingling in a weird sensation that only happens when he’s near. She grinned secretly before deliberately passing by before stopping close to the bench as she looked around to act as if she was looking for someone.
Time had passed by rather slowly as he looked around for a bit for his client wherever this person was they had been running late which had meant they had been on the clock officially. He wasn't mad but he was definitely getting disgruntled about the fact that he was sitting around waiting on someone that had hired HIM to do this damn job. There had been a couple of people that had walked by him as he sat there by himself and smoked what would be his last cigaret for the day and his mind constantly going back and forth between this job and the past. The details themselves were pretty simple as a bodyguard mission although he was used to the more dangerous and life threatening missions that he would get every once in a while, but hey money is money isn't it.
With the small amount of people in the park he would figure that this place would be packed especially during the afternoon according to what he has read in some of the newspaper and research his assistant did. Although with the limited amount of shade around him and the lake siting not to far from him, many of the parks inhabitants must have been either on the other side or maybe just sitting along the outskirts of the part.
From his pocket he would pull out his phone to check the time," Not time yet...never knew someone to be late to their own appointment but whatever," silently he would mutter to himself as the phone disappeared into his pockets once again and looked up into the sky. Moments would pass as he felt the presence of someone come up beside the bench where he had been sitting which prompted him to turn his head and look at them. The first thing he had caught a glimpse of would be the hat which had suddenly made him flashback to the day with that strange girl, but the thought faded away when he looked at the rest of her. The thoughts of panic would disappear as he tilted his head and turned away," so...are you the one i am supposed to be protecting? If so you are dangerously close to being late. All i need to know for this job is where you want me and i will be out of your way and doing what i need to," slowly he would stand up as he crushed the cigaret in his hands and dumped it onto the ground, his crimson eyes slowly flowing onto the woman that had appeared beside him.

[attr="class","mecha"]Lol so cute <3
Lateness was not something she wanted to dwell even in her questionably sane mind Rayne valued punctuality more than she actually wanted to admit. It wasn’t like she ever admits anything... Mystery surrounded her like a second skin covering her form. She was an unknown, a being without a past or so people thought of her as. She laughed at it amusingly under the veil of an alluring smile. Seduction... temptation the little devils that lingered within every person around this planet.
She looked up at the glaring rays of the hiding sun, pulling her hand up to shield her eyes partially she scanned her head around till success, the girl finally caught his attention. Now, it was a matter of tuning in the perfect script to get her role as the fragile maiden down to perfection. Pale lips moved to speak until its chance was broken by the sudden call of her manager, gasping as he carried a large briefcase filled with the necessary papers. The girl mentally rolled her eyes at the interference but kept it out from her expression. “Rika, dear lord wait for me!” Gasped the middle age dark haired man wearing a business suit over the thin framed glasses on the bridge of his nose, a skewed by the sprint he made to race for his charge.
Such a silly man... noted the brunette before she turned her lips in a shy but apologizing smile. “Gomene manager-san I tend to get excited in warm days.” Her voice softly resonated into a gentle melodious giggle as she switched her attention over to Athrun. “E-Etto, you’re going to be my guard?” She gave him a brief look over, her gaze turned wary then shifted back into the gentle expression it carried. “Gomen... We got caught in traffic,” She bowed lightly much to her manager’s dismay as he nervously glanced around their surroundings he figured he should take over in explaining. “You already know the details, here’s the rest.” He began to fidget his tie at the presence the male gave off, there was something off about him that the manager couldn’t press his finger on.
“Rika here, has a bit of a stalker problem.” In tune to that she winced upon hearing it, though to the child it was more an act than the real deal. The manager casted her a sympathetic look before continuing. “Lately it’s been escalating, so your job is quite simple, stay close to Rika and be sure not to lose her. We have a shoot in about an hour at that hill over there.” He gestured to a hill overlooking their position from the west already there were numerous crews setting up equipment. “Where we want you, is close to this girl. I don’t want a kidnap attempt like last time.” He sighed. Inwardly the girl licked her lips remembering that incident lets just say... it ended in her favor.
The crimson eyes would continue to scan the girl for a moment while waiting for her to specifically speak to him, he'd rather talk to the client himself than someone else but when dealing with actors and models of the like he wasn't "allowed" to or something like that. With the silence between the two of them broken by the panting and loud footsteps of another man coming up where the girl was once . This man had no tact and was a little to loud for athrun's taste although for some odd reason this suited up man only made him wish he had actually met with this person BEFORE coming. Athrun continued to stand up as the out of breath man began to talk to the woman he would be protecting, Rika, if he heard the name correctly. For someone who lived in this place for a while he had no idea who this woman was, but if she needed someone like him to protect her she must be pretty damn important or something.
Athrun would turn his head to Rika as she spoke to him, the simple tone of Japanese hit his ears as he waved the offense off," Dajioubu, Rika-san ," being extremely rusty with the language himself, he would be able to at least introduce himself when needed and say good-bye. When the man had spoken up showing him the papers on what he would need which would only take him a moment to read before he grabbed the papers and pulled out a lighter setting the papers on fire and letting them go," Good enough for me...," its better to have no traces of the job than to let the papers linger around for those to see in the event that he had to get his hands dirty or something. Putting up the lighter he would listen for the rest of the story, seeing that his client had a stalker problem he would be the one to get rid of him when the time came.
" Well seems like my job is simple enough...watch princess over here until the whatever is done, and if in the event that this stalker shows himself i will put him down. Simple enough?," stretching a bit he would look over to the hill for any blind spots that he could see and where he would stand while watching over her. After looking around for a bit he would look over to Rika," So what does your stalker look like? Facial hair or something like that would be helpful just in case i have to spot him out and take care of him on the spot," he was planning on killing this stalker if he or she or whatever the hell this person was just to get his job done. If neither of them had any questions for him, he would wait for Rika to wait to the hill where he would stay directly behind her to make sure the stalker wasn't around.

[attr="class","mecha"]troll now they're alone.
The crimson eyes that stayed on her frame sent a vision of the past straight at her face that it slapped her full force on the cheek. Figuratively speaking those same eyes once stared at her as children growing up carefree from the world around them. She had an early break from that protective lining her parents created. Dropped down into the real world without a single ally tends to break a person’s spirit however she was one of the lucky ones... She learned their ways and she learned to forego humanity without giving a damn what the next person thinks. That’s was how she lived.
Her eyes dimmed for a split second as a torrent of images streamed through her mind she temporarily muted their conversation. Switching to gaze upon the lush forestry as her mind continued to dance with the past. It was always like this when she dawns on Rika’s mask. In a twisted sense of fate she unknowingly based her upon her old self the one that’s currently slumbering in the abyss waiting for the day it could finally reappear. She doubted such a day would be possible so she kept it safe, sleeping and waiting.
For a day that would never come. She shook her head, clearing the thoughts back into the casket she prepared she twisted her head back to look at the two as she offered a polite smile that spoke of the girl’s insecurities for having been stuck at such a situation. “Domo arigato.” She chirped rather timidly moving to fidget her fingers shyly as she looked away from the two. She often imagined Rika to be what...she would have been had she not experienced that... at the same time she felt thankful that it did happen. It led to know her limits and for her to actually know her capabilities. She wasn’t the weak little princess anymore, so hearing him used that word actually sent the inner her into a cackling fit. Talk about déjà vu... this boy was starting to peek her interest. She stood there in a moment deep in thought as she struggled to find the words to answer him. Typical ‘Rika’ but Rayne on the other hand knew how to answer him. “Well... im not really sure... he often wears a black baseball cap and a trench coat...so I cant really see his face.” She timidly replied. By this point her manager excused himself to go and handle the final deal with the project as she watched his figure disappear towards the hill.
Now they were alone. She glanced back to him adapting a shy façade as she tried to think of words to speak. “I really hope you weren’t waiting for too long...” She spoke, wondering if he does recognize one of the top charters in the current idol list.
“Well... im not really sure... he often wears a black baseball cap and a trench coat...so I cant really see his face.”
That was....very not helpful to say the least but he had a general description of the dumbass and would be able to spot him out a bit if he had actually tried to show up. He didn't know about stalkers that much (never had to deal with them nor did he care to) but assuming from his pattern he was acting like a wild animal he would be able to predict him," Well...that little bit is good enough to look out for him, if you get a feeling like someone is watching you that is NOT me..trust me you will know when i am watching you but when you get an unfamiliar feeling let me know then and not later...i don't fail my jobs and i ain't gonna start alright?," he was being a bit rough with her but that is just how he is.
With the manager finally being gone he would sigh and scratch his head in frustration for the man in the suit had unknowingly pissed Athrun off. The way he walked...the way he addressed him and even looked at him pissed him off and for the fact that he was a client he could not punch him in the face. Slowly he would exhale a short breath of air as he looked up to his "jewel" in a sense and chuckled," Think nothing of it...it would be bad if i just went off on my client now wouldn't it? By the way your little employer or whatever has no backbone...you should get a new one before that one there bites the dust," whether or not she knew what the boy was saying was another topic altogether, but he could see that her manager would fall prey to someone soon.
Athrun began to play with his hands for a moment before stretching and looking around," So...Rika? What is it that you do in this business? I'm not the one to exactly pay attention to things like this so fill me on what it is you "idols" do," well...he had initiated the first contacts of a conversation which was weird for him even on a professional level, but if he was going to be waiting for this thing to start he would just stand around in silence just to be driven crazy.

[attr="class","mecha"]outfit links, notes all goes here,
Being batshit crazy or as the critics calls for her questioned sanity Rayne never had a knack to bother with what others think of her actions. To her, haters would be just that. Critics who had nothing better to do other than criticize other’s business endeavors. Rayne’s just that, after losing what little motive she had to acknowledge society’s rules and began following her twisted version of the game called survival.
Yes... Rayne, has obviously no interest in caring for what they thought of her, so her listening to his statement actually seemed more surprising to some that knew the girl. She cant count him anymore, the female inwardly casted a chuckle upon her the dark walls of her mind. He didn’t notice... there was something remotely amusing seeing the look of complete and utter obliviousness play on his face. Like a blast to the past, a vision of old spun within her eyes of the veil that once rested protecting them from the real colors of the outside world. It was that naivety she blamed for her rough start.
Children are supposed to be like that, innocent and unknowing of the true world. Like she was before... She squished the memory under the heel of her shoe, Rayne refused to dwell upon the years she called her weakness. They didn’t exist for she willed their existence to cease and stop it’s torment upon her shadowed soul. Her eyes casted a glance at the ground, feeling it more interesting than the supposed to be identical boy beside her until she finally lifted her face attentively as he continued to speak.
Amusing much, internally raising an eyebrow she felt the urge to pinch herself. Since...when did her brother whom she sadly labeled as a rock thanks to his emotional capabilities as one... became so talkative, another hit to her deepening bitterness spreading through the inner bowels of her mind. She tried to pacify it but the chill simply froze her attempts. All those years she worked to get him to talk... well it seemed it was for naught for the boy learned it himself, smart cookie.
Well maybe not so much. Shifting the thoughts away, she tapped her chin a bit acting like the mirror image of her past childhood, her demurred gentle brown orbs shyly looked down. Taking her role down to a T, as she weaved her character’s personality to life. “E-Etto...” She stammered out forcing the cute undertone to show as she spoke. “I’ll do my best...” She smiled, how she loved acting... no one could really tell what’s real or fake depending on the actor’s capabilities. Hers were flawless. “Shinagi-san means well... he’s really nice once you get to know him... and he’s been taking care of me.” She flashed a tiny smile directed at him. “As for being in this business... I do modelling and a singing career, honestly I just do it since I enjoy seeing people smile.” She answered. Everything was well scripted for ‘Rika’ façade... everything however unknowing she was that she took out the model from her days as a child. Looking around her, the girl looked from tro to fro, as if trying to find something but couldn’t find it. “Etto... what’s your name?” She asked. Course she knew...she could feel herself mentally rolling her eyes at her question but for the sake of her cover. One has to ask the obvious of things.
So she appreciated the things the man did for her regardless of the fact that he had zero backbone, but to each their own he assumed..the weirdness of the normal people these days made him wonder just what being normal was again. A slight shrug would be the first of many responses as he looked to her," If that is what you prefer then life must be good for a famous person ne? Although even if you enjoy his company you should at least give him some advice....i could practically smell his fear of me from over there...i know from his eyes that he is scared of me more or less," the sound of his voice showed that he didn't care..in fact he relished in the fact that someone had been scared of him off of a first glance. The way this conversation was going it would seem that he was either going to go towards the area of talking about each others lives (which he was against tremendously) or about something that he had no idea about...yeah there was something wrong with him and he knew it but he loved it so why complain about it?
She did what she did to make people smile? Athrun didn't know what to think but he definitely didn't understand the concept of doing something just for the satisfaction of seeing them happy. The crimson eyes would look up to her with a blank expression before the words had finally found their way to his mouth," So you do these...things just to make people...those ungrateful people that only want more?," the question came out as more of an inquiry instead of a statement...he knew how the world was with its inhabitants and how they only took without giving, but on the same side he had worked for these ungrateful people an even killed some of them which made the twisted circle all to well.
His name? Well..that was a twist in the different direction which caused those weird crimson eyes to look down and contemplate on telling her his name. What was the harm when no one he knew had his name or so he thought but then again he went by his alias instead of his name so what was the harm in it? Slowly Athrun would look up and present himself to the woman...no his client who had asked for his name," Athrun...My name is Athrun," the name slipped off of his tongue like it was almost foreign to him. The six lettered name simply was a title to him or better yet a testament to a past he could never remember.

[attr="class","mecha"]Lol this kid is being weird...,
The very least he hadnt forgotten his name...he forgot everything, including the family that took care of him. Happy memories that once held their importance now dimmed grey in the eyes of the young girl. They remained yet at the same time their worth vanished upon the oath the girl casted on herself the day the full realization her ‘family’ abandoned her for greener pastures.
Left the weakest of them all to be eaten by the wolves... Eaten, she mused at the word. She wasn’t eaten. She became what they wanted her to be. A demon, a bringer of death, a killer for their sick folly. She took it all, pushing her humanity to the side to be one with the darkness that wanted to claim her from the start. Whatever became of the innocent girl that inhabited this vessel...she pondered that a few times in the past and now as she continued to listen to the boy, unknown to her she was feeding into that lost soul to play Rika’s role.
She breathed in the gentle scent of the flowers blooming on the flower beds, wild azaleas bloomed out their unique violet petals the wind came and gone fluttering the petals in its gentle stream. Rayne took the chance to delve in her brain for an answer, she was simply going on with what Rika herself would answer. This wasn’t her own for she doesn’t see the reason in seeing people smile when she cant ever smile again. She blamed them for it... internally the breathed of resentment hovered heavily over her small form. Threatening to suck her in the abyss she created. “Hmm...?” Lips curled into a frown hearing the words come from his mouth. So about the man, she agreed but she couldn’t let him see her act out of character. “He’s not really that brave...” Giggled the young female then it shifted seriously. “Have it good... Yeah... I guess,” She sighed. Unbeknownst to the boy it triggered a flash back of a girl locked in her room, forced to remain there until she can show herself to be perfect again. She remembered the cries echoing from her as she continued to pound on the door begging to be let out but her voice was left unheard...
Good huh?... She repeated it to herself in the confines of her mind. “It depends on how you meant it, then again... not everything is what it seemed Athrun-san...” She added with a small strained smile, dammit.. the boy knew how to make her wish she could stab his throat out but she couldn’t...she doubted she had enough hatred for that. Turning away from the boy she began taking a couple steps ahead of him. The wind slightly played upon on her clothes as she turned to look at him. “There’s no escaping it.. I’m bound to it because it’s my job...and not everyone is ungrateful.. you just need to keep an open mind about it.” Chirped the girl. So he doesn’t remember...she could see it in his eyes. He doesn’t remember...
Is it strange that my past is conflicting with my future
Athrun sat there in silence as he listened to her giggle one moment the turn so serious the next, it was almost as if he had been hit by another memory brick and it caused him to go into a spiraling back flip down memory lane. The setting this time was a large room filled with bookshelves and a single bed which he sat by reading something to someone, not to mention that he looked a little too innocent compared to what he had looked like now. He was talking to someone in the bed...a girl who's face was slowly blurred out by either the concussion or the fact that he didn't have all of his memories in place. Either way he sat there and continued to speak to this one girl until the memory vanished and he was thrusted backwards into the real world and Rika's voice. A small smile came across his face from a place he didn't know to be there anymore, somehow the small trace of the small kid in that memory had surfaced for some reason," Well when you put it that way....not many people can say they have had a good life or not, but if you enjoy what you do then do it good," what was he saying? Something was wrong in the cryptic mind of this insane teenager....maybe the asylum was onto something when they said he might have multiple personalities....or maybe he was just crazy.
Everything wasn't what it seem....The single sentence made a lot of sense, but what else was there too see? Everything he had seen was only death, murder and the occasional torture here and there made his life up. With most of his life a freaking blur he couldn't piece together just what he was missing except for the occasional dreams. Athrun's eyes soon went to the ground as he chuckled almost nostalgically," You know Rika...you remind me of someone....someone that i once knew a long time ago. Have you ever had the feeling that there is a large part of you missing but you cannot seem to remember it," the question is why did he want to know all of a sudden? Was it the voice of this person that triggered these memories or was it something in his jumbled up sub-conscience that made him wonder about these strange things.

Has...
He ever felt what true despair felt like? Rayne doubted it. He was spared from the plight that assaulted her. That accident saved him from suffering the same fate as she did but... look at the price. She drowned herself in the shadows of sin and reveled as it slowly killed the pure light that resided in her body. That was the real Rayne. The gentle soul that was eradicated by the will to live to see another day in the torture life tossed at her.
No one waited for her for the world barely noticed her existence. To it she was one of the numerous ants crawling at it’s surface. She was...an unknown walking along with the drones called humans in a never ending cycle of eat and be eaten...
She proved it, as much as she could for countless of times that she lost count that she wasn’t the prey life could pick at. She killed, glancing down at her hands, clean as they may look but in her eyes she still saw the residue of hundreds of lives ended by those hands of her what frightened her was...she loved it. She gave up the light after the reality of her situation came to light. They abandoned her, left her in a hell that burnt off every last bit of purity from her soul. Brown ears twitched as it listened to his words, confusion momentarily filed through the gentle façade. Inwardly was a different story, she was thinking, biding her time to fully understand his reasoning. She couldn’t... the deep resentment of the past still lay deep within her. Refusing to lighten its load it simply clogged the sympathy and the urge to hold her hand out for him as she used to as a child.
That...Rayne is gone...
She will never come back.
Rayne fell silent as if a thick fog of silence shut their voices and enveloped them in a mist that killed all noise. She didn’t speak, her lips hadn’t move as her eyes drifted off to the side. Memory road must have taken her, shoving her into the door leading towards a scene of a vast open field, her parents sat by a picnic blanket happily chanting while she rested against her twin as he read a book while she dotted on a floral crown she began to weave. The words she knew the child would say came to mind but she never heard them spoke. Her mind blocked their words, it blocked the past that she ordered cease to exist.
She blinked, finding herself once again in the boy’s presence. As she turned to look at him, she paused seeing a small fragile frame of a golden head child. Smiling sadly as it stood close to Athrun. The vision was only for her eyes only no one seemed to notice the girl for you see...
The child was her.
Blinking away the illusion it was gone as she opened her eyes. “Really?” She asked, expertly hiding the sudden crack in her façade. “Who do I remind you off?” She asked, diving deep into the innocence that long ago died. If he were to see the true her... the light already died, replaced by the abyss she was born from.

Is it strange that my past is conflicting with my future
The words continued to pound against his head like a drum in an orchestra until at long last his tallish form stood still amongst the earth as the wind pushed against him urging him to move, but he couldn't...his mind had been set on search as his body simply stood there to carry out the order. Something inside the mind of the sixteen year old psychotic male had clicked or rather partially clicked inside of the tumble that was his mind until the lock had turned at last but only partially. His crimson eyes glazed over for a moment as if he had went into a trance of some sort, the memory of before the crash coming into play but as a small fragment of what was once there.
The picture of him and his younger sister standing at the door together, his arms wrapped around her in a smile as he rubbed her head," When we get back we can play some more okay Rayne?," the name of his sister slipping off of his tongue and unknown to him that in the real world he had said this name so absent mindlessly that when he came to he blinked for a second before shaking his head and simply walked in front of Rika. The whole sentence stuck in his head like a fresh cog that he reached into his pocket and grabbed for one of the many cigarets and set it into his mouth without lighting it," Let's go....you have a photo shoot to do and i have a job to get done...i can't be getting chummy with my client," the crimson eyes once again resuming their cold expression, but something else was also in that gaze that he had just cast... a feeling that he had been missing something and that something had finally came back.
He would keep his distance from Rika just a bit but continue to walk beside her, lighting the object in his mouth and in taking a bit of the smoke into his mouth as he took his position amongst the other people in the shoot. His eyes of course were looking around to see if someone that didn't belong or of course looked suspicious characters within the area, but as he was looking around someone had asked him to put out his cigaret before they had begun to shoot. The seemingly soulless crimson eyes looked onto the person with a blank expression as he blew some of the smoke into their face," Hey fuckwit...don't expect me do follow your damn rules now get to doing your own damn job and let me do mine....and if you dare tell me what to do again i'll fucking kill you got it?," his face showed he was serious as he got into the man's face and stared into his eyes before moving back and finishing the small cigaret in one fell swoop and exhaling the smoke into the air.

I see the angels, I'll lead them to your door. There is no escape now, Now mercy no more
A simple voice, that touched her ears as soon as it reached her senses... it...
Froze her.
She prepared herself for this to the point she rehearsed every angle the scenario shifts but as a wise man once said nothing can prepare a person for the real ordeal. She mentally counted every possible route this could end in nothing prepared her for this scenario though. She had completely overlook one thing proving Fate's unpredictable nature in things such as this. What better way to earn the girl's ire other than dropping her in a situation she's completely unprepared for. She thought she was, she honestly though she can fight against the past and kill it single-handedly without failing. The mission proved to be harder than she originally thought. Isn't this quite the predicament. She was beginning to lose her grip on the game she created. She secretly gritted her teeth in annoyance. One of the things she hated is losing control of a situation. Recent events came to light that left the game in an unpredictable stage that she cant predict an outcome.
This is good, it wasnt turning to her liking. Rayne had to fix it before things takes a turn for the worse. Games such as these did have... unknown outcomes to those who cant see the roads ahead. This was her game... by damn was she going to allow a boy to beat her at it. Especially... if its someone she labeled as a traitor in her past. One of the anchors she should thank for turning her into the demonic queen that would bring the next reign of darkness to the Valentine's. She kept back the growing ire bubbling within her, glancing up at his face all the child saw was a vision of the past she wished never existed. It would have been better if she hadnt experience it. The blow from being shoved into the real world would have been softer.
And the pain of betrayal woulnt be this deep enough to make her light fade away from the grasp of reality and into her own make shift valhalla. To protect it, she had to... toss her light into the abyss where it now wonders in a reality that completely contradicts what this revenant now stands in.
The girl continued to eye him, watching the mix of emotions speed through his face with the speed of a freight train going at a hundred miles per hour. His eyes dimmed brought something out in her, she reached to her chest clasping her heart as she clenched her eyes shut. Not now, Edel stop it... dont come out... She hissed to the invisible presence begging for a share of the light. She refused only because she knew what was the best for her diminishing light. Dont come out...you dont belong here anymore... It felt like an eternity weight down by the weight of a hundred stoned boulders being hefted upon her frail shoulders the cries and screams never left her further fuel the cold hatred lurking in her soul. After all she was, merely a vessel for the darkness that killed the innocent child within her. She didnt see his lips move as the girl set to block out the rest of the world.
Her veil of silence began to envelop her senses but just before it fully closed it...it died. From the one word uttered from his lips.
"Rayne" Gobsmacked, a word reeled her in tossing her to an infinite loop of mix emotion, she paused frozen by the chill that paralyze her from moving. Her throat tightened from words refusing to leave her lips. She wasnt so sure if her composure fully bolted out from the window! But she was sure it has, it did...
She was damn sure it did, the sound continued to shatter the workings of her mind shutting it down until she couldnt even think of anything to counter act the scene playing around her. It must have shown on her face for the look of the naive child fled away until she pulled up a blank mask to hide the mixture of emotions clotting through her head. Rayne didnt want to feel... she hated the light, but at the same time wished to protect it.
"Hmm?" She closed her eyes, reviving the last of her resolve as she redonned on her mask once more. "Rayne? Thats a strange name... I knew someone of that name, but it's not really wise to talk about the dead... Athy-kun?" She paused, opening her green orbs to look at the cold ones as he regained his composure. Back to square one, Rayne however wasnt even bothered. She nodded at his comment without a word turned ahead and began to walk but paused as she took a step forward she spun back, a huge smile spread over her face as she uttered a soft giggle. "Athy-kun should loosen up, everything will be fine" She chirped brightly, a veil of warmth spread through her words that for a moment a flashback of the past covered her image to a small blond child, weak and frail mimic the same actions she just did and then the illusion died, leaving 'Rika' in the place of the girl as she began to skip towards their location. Athy...she used to call him that as a child, but now, why bring it up only she could answer.
